Percentage of Draft Budget to RB position

wow, juicy. at QB, there are a lot of people who will be buying rookies. I've no doubt of that. You could probably buy a tandem of Aaron Rodgers and Kirk Cousins for a fraction of what some will pay for those rookies. they are both going late late late, and there is nothing wrong with either of these guys. I like Mixon and to some extent Naj now that warren is hurt. and these guys you will get at bargain prices. at TE its deeper than we have seen in years. Kittle is actually going cheap, and if Aiyuk leaves San fran he will get all the volume he can handle. at WR, hopkins, cooper are both going cheaper than they should. I also think Hollywood brown is well priced relative to what he will probably deliver. you can go cheap on all of these guys and then open the bank vault on one or two rookies you love. you will do well this year while also setting yourself up for next year. and if one of those rookies breaks out early you can consider it a nice bonus.

    RB Rankings

if this is Javonte Williams I highly recommend you buy at this price. in the interboard league where fftoday goes up against other boards such as draft sharks and football guys, I drafted Javonte at the end of round 7 (which was a half round earlier than they'd been drafting him in other pools) because I believe he will have a good year. Last year I told people to avoid him. he had an ACL injury where a second ligament was damaged too. I said this would set him back on the rehab. and it showed. he was not good last year. normal recovery for an ACL is 18 months +/- 3 months. while there are cases where it has happened quicker, thats rare and you shouldnt count on it. but when a second ligament is involved that increases recovery time 3-6 months.. I was reasonably sure he wouldnt be good last year and .... well, he wasnt. this year hes looked quicker in camp. word is that the burst is back. so I took a chance and drafted him as my RB3 in that league. I'd go so far as to say if hes on the board in the 10th round of any draft, you should be taking him all day long. bottom line, anywhere in RB3 territory is fair game for this guy. I have researched this and feel good about this recommendation.

    Flying under the Radar

most recent was Akers. he came back to play the next year in LA. then went to Minny and played a half year. hes just signed in Houston as a backup. and his comeback is likely better than what most RB's get.

sadly an Achilles that requires surgery has ended the career of many RB's. it sounds like the new surgical technique is a bit better so the recovery rate will be a bit higher than it was, but still I'd say his chances of a full recovery is 50-50 at best. I feel for the poor guy

coming back from a major injury. I'd bet against THAT. at least this year. (of course now that I said this watch him go off)

    Flying under the Radar

we would hope they would be better. draft picks sometimes take a while to come around. its not always plug and play. it also takes time for these guys to learn to play together. they literally reconstructed half the line. my guess (though that is only a guess) is the line looks a lot better in the second half than they do in the first half of the season. it may be tough sledding the first few games, so I'd look at getting a piece of the bengals run game 4 or 5 games into the season if they are underperforming at that point. you can buy low if that happens and in the second half you reap the benefits.

    WR Hold-Outs (Ins)

that depends. if everyone is doing it, then drafting the guy is still in play.

    Justin Herbert wide receivers

chark best WR so far in camp? so the articles say. I dont know how good the source is, but when more than one source is saying this, its time to start to take a look. Chargers training camp awards: MVP, Best Rookie, Stock Surge, and more | Sporting News Chargers Training Camp Awards: MVP, Best Rookie & More Highlights - BVM Sports Just an FYI. I still recommend you do your own research and draw your own conclusions. if anyone here does find anything interesting that would help sort this situation out, post here. I do suspect most of the important info comes when Herbert returns and we see who he has built a connection with.
