well, if you manage to pick whoever emerges as the WR1, you could end up with a 1000 yard WR for pennies on the dollar. if these guys fall far enough its well worth the lotto pick

it is pre season. he should be lighting it up against these guys. not trying to pee on your parade but this is what I expect from a veteran starter in pre season.

I know this is a new regime and they want to distance themselves from the old. but at this point it doesnt look like the managment is much better. I guess we shall see. the results should speak for themselves. I do like the draft picks they made this year (for the most part) so that's at least something.

I know, but talent is still talent. even in a regime change a useful player can be repurposed instead of selling them off for pennies on the dollar. if you have to replace the whole roster your rebuild takes 2 to 3 times as long.

redskins also traded their best defensive player to the bears last year. I'm not sure I'd judge based on this. I think its more likely they wanna gut the team and rebuild from the bottom up in their own image. a harder way to go for sure.

well, I dont think this changes his value a ton, but his floor is lower and his ceiling is higher. thats how I see it.

agreed. he will have some good weeks. highly underrated player. I'm glad hes getting a chance to start. I do think he was the better QB but I saw one or two reports saying as a whole that offense has apparently not looked great in pre season. but I'm always skeptical about these reports that say this and then dont actually say what seems to be the problem. ie. line, QB play, WR not getting open etc. so it might have just been click bait

sounds about right. the interboard draft had numbers that were reasonably close. I think MHJ was a couple picks later but its close enough that we are likely within the margin of error given the small sample size of results. July mock Kupp went late third, but I've noticed his ADP has dropped since that time in all publications so 3.4 sounds pretty close to right.

well, thats the thing. if you have 3 or 4 players you value relatively equally to that player the holdout likely makes me pick the other guys instead (no holdout issue) so most of the time something like this means I take the guy a round later. and I do think a lot of people do that even if they dont specifically move the player down their board. so when you move a guy back a round on your draft board it could be the equivalence of the same. only difference is the way you explain it.
