Caleb Williams is the real deal.

true, but a strong armed QB is more likely able to cut through the wind with a throw. its a natural advantage of the rocket arm. jrokh is right though, its playing in the muddy fall weather you want to see. sadly we wont see that until the fall, so you'll have to settle for what you got. (for now)
  4. yeah, and still recovering from an ACL injury to boot. its a full 18 months to get back to normal for most so I have to think that part will be better as well. its funny, with the QB they had I'm pretty sure nearly every game I saw they stacked the line and dared the Jets to beat them through the air. they cant do that with Rodgers at QB. Hed torch them. so I'm expecting far better efficiency. while the team may throw a bit more, they will also extend a lot more drives and score more TD. so its a slightly smaller piece of a much larger pie. in the end I'm expecting him to be better than he was last year. I'd personally view last years numbers as his floor (barring injury)

  7. Breece Hall has been going earlier than anticipated. initially I thought Bijan would go ahead of him but in the July Mock he went #2. in the IBL mock between boards he went #1 on one of the drafts. #2 in another and #6 in a third one where Bijan went ahead of him. so a lot of people do think hes top 3.

The Greatest NFL QB of All Time Officially Retires 🏆

hes had a decent career. Nothing to be ashamed of. lots of QB's out there who are considered hall of fame worthy who wont get a good shot at a superbowl. and for that one playoff year, he WAS fantastic and got a superbowl ring for his troubles.

    WR Aiyuk: Trade Me

honestly, it sounds like hes being reasonably professional about it. even tossing in a joke.

    2024 Preseason: Week 1 Discussion

lots of teams wont put their prize starters into the first week or two of exhibition. in fact with the shorter exhibition season lots of teams are going away from using starters when they feel they can get away with it. they wanna get the people on tryout some time on the field. so for that reason I wouldnt look into this at all. Teams run a very vanilla offense in the pre season and try not to give too much away in terms of what they plan to do in the regular season games.
  19. it would help if we knew what round you are targetting certain people. I know Barkley is a guy I was able to get on the turn in the July Mock (PPR) and I really like his upside in that offense. Kupp had a 4th round ADP early in the year but now I think is going in early to mid round 3 of most drafts I've seen but will still slide in some drafts. at a 4th round he was a bargain. at 3rd its pretty close to where he should be going. as a second back I like Henry regardless of where he is drafted but I think his ADP is later in round 2

    6.06 and 6.08 respectively.

    WR Aiyuk: Trade Me

he still has a year to go on the contract. and honestly hes just starting to show his potential. dude should be focused on balling out. if he does, the contract he gets next year will be considerably larger. sure i guess there is the security of being guaranteed money but realistically I dont think injuries have really been an issue with him. If I were him I'd shut up and roll the dice and try to max out my value.

    Najee Harris -vs- Jaylen Warren

july mock (PPR) Naj and Jaylan Warren were #23 and #24 off the board for RB. so they are both valued as a RB2/3

    WR Aiyuk: Trade Me

hes already behaving like a deva. imagine if the guy felt slighted while trying to earn a contract. it would be a meltdown haha fun to watch if you dont like San Fran, but a nightmare if you are a San Fran fan
  24. yes. agreed there. at the far lower ADP its easier to justify Nabers at 59 than Harrison at 35. though I've seen Harrison going a lot sooner than that in some drafts
  25. honestly the scout reports I've seen make me like Nabers in most aspects, but that catch radius and route running favours Harrison for being an early producer. His catch radius is soooo impressive. the one play he was running ball thrown behind him and he bent his body, reached back with one hand and brought in the ball. surprised the hell out of the DB who thought he had an easy INT. and the most impressive part is Harrison didnt even need to slow down. he turned it upfield right away. Most impressive thing I've ever seen. I will say Nabers due to his speed seems to gain better separation. but if the ball is behind him he cant do what Harrison did on that play. so if you have a pin point passer, Nabers is likely the preferred guy. if you have a QB whose accuracy is lacking some, Harrison will actually make up for that with his catch radius and ability to adjust to the ball. I do think Harrison is a nice match with Kyler Murray. and I am expecting good things from him in his rookie year. Nabers is tougher to figure. Danny dimes had a reputation of putting the ball where it needs to be (thus the nickname dimes) but as a pro he hasnt been that good. part of this is due to an inferior line for sure. hard to be accurate when you have to throw early with a person in your face. but if they can find a way to protect him long enough Nabers could do well here. Thing is... if New York Bails on Danny Dimes then we are looking at breaking in a new rookie QB and that hinders Nabers long term. (if you are picking for dynasty) so if I had to bet on a rookie season I'm betting on Harrison. but I assure you both WR are likely gonna have long and productive careers.
