    Rashee Rice

hes not a yardage monster, so I wouldnt label him a WR1 yet. I'd have to see how the chiefs are using him. given the low yardage and high volume in terms of volume/catches I'd bet they are using him in the slot. That said, once a guy proves himself, sometimes the team will push him to the outside to be a WR. in looking at him hes not a large WR but not small either. so he could be a tweener that can play anywhere. personally I think hes a WR3 who gets bumped to WR2 because Mahomes is tossing the football. I dont see him as a bonafide #1 WR. but I could be wrong. kids still growing as a player so the upside can be higher still

yep. 2 for 1 deals are sometimes hard to get done but it is certainly worth it to explore the option

well, some guys will still be keen on Kelce. maybe your ideal situation is to find a trade partner. if they want to take that risk you can maybe get a new, keepable player in lieu.

    Random Thoughts Week 15

it was only a matter of time. at his age, he and Tony Gonzalez are the only TE's who have finished as a TE1 at this age. Likely because they do less blocking than your regular tight end so less wear and tear on the body. Now that we are seeing a decline in his production I think the slope will likely get more slippery. It is dicey in terms of whether hes still a keeper.

MNF Discussion: Eagles at Seahawks - Wk 15

I only need Goedert to score less than 23.8 points. I like my odds. Especially if Hurts doesnt play

    ACL injury

hes been back for a while from what I can tell but now that the jets are out of the playoff hunt I think they will shut down any talk of Rodgers returning. Its simply not happening unless there is something in it to be gained by playing him while still injured.

no. and going from Brady to (nearly anyone) you would think there would be a dropoff. but then again when Brady first arrived I thought Evans would put up better numbers with Brady. The jump wasnt as large as I thought it was. in the end I think it is because Brady spread the ball around more. If my memory is correct I think Evans was injured during part of the Brady tenure too which may have affected that. I know the O line was a mess Brady's last year so the deep ball was not something he could throw as often because the pass protection wasnt there. Either way I cannot disagree he was the steal of the draft in the mid rounds.
