hes probably droppable, but I'd wait until the surgery is booked. he likely will get a second opinion first to make sure. while it is rare that the second opinion comes back with a different answer it does rarely happen. in the interim you can put him on IR to free up the roster spot.

I think with a shorter pre season its easier for Defenses than offenses to come out sharp in week 1.

How the fock do Tee Higgens and Drake London get...
Ray_T replied to seafoam1's topic in FFToday Board
no the conditions that hinder his production (the guy throwing him the ball) has not changed. he hasnt improved and he hasnt been replaced. until one of those things happens, London will remain in purgatory despite his high talent level. -
he outscored him but I would argue neither QB was all that good. That said, I gotta give credit where credit is due. You were right.

well, I dont think the Cowboys beat them. They beat themselves. the blocked kick and the pick six really set the tone for the game, and it didnt get better. The Defense was everywhere and if that wasnt enough, all the breaks went the Cowboys way. Cowboys fumble the ball, it goes right into the hands of another Cowboy. No problem..... so Yeah Dak didnt do much but he also didnt need to. literally all he needed to do was hand the ball off, and not fumble it. The Defense literally stole this show. Good on them. they were so good they actually messed up 2 QB's for fantasy. one because he had to play against them., the other because there was no need for him to actually throw the ball.

I liked it better when the thread said Butrow. then there is at least a slim chance you'd be inclined to think Burrow didnt suck because he just got paid.
-
with that Defense bearing down on you every play, you'd be looking like that too. the Giants O line slowed the D line about as much as a turnstile. There is some resistance but in the end the turnstile isnt designed to stop you from moving toward your destination

Yeah, the Dallas D was huge tonight. I went into the game thinking I will probably win if they get the expected # of fantasy points, and came out thinking wow, it wasnt really that close.

I avoided him for this reason. but I still would have expected better than THIS. all I can say is I am very glad I dont have him on any of my fantasy teams -
keeping him fresh so he doesnt get hurt?
-
They both played quite well from the sound of it. it will be interesting to see how the team manages this.

I figured Allgeir would get decent play early in the season until Bijan got all the nuances down for being an NFL starter. but as the year Wears on Bijan will get more play and Allgeir less. what I didnt know is how long it would take for how long the transition period would last. (still dont)

I know fftoday has a rating for him. I agree with the fantasy point total, but given that detroit has been moving him around the formation on pass plays I think the stat line is tipped. I think he gets more fantasy points on pass plays and less on run plays. so If I'm right he will overproduce relative to the projection in PPR a bit. maybe I'm nitpicking but I dont think he gets as many yards on the ground and I think he gets more passes and more yards in the pass game. Any Detroit homers want to chime in on this?
-
Thoughts? Bryce Young has to throw to someone... He could be the guy? projections anyone?

I do think Likely is a good play this week. hes another guy who could have a larger role if he was on a different team. Taysom is mostly a gadget player but most of those gadget plays get the most tread early in the season so the first 3-5 weeks could be good fantasy starts with Taysom. thing about him is it is 100% feast or famine with him. I just dont like the risk. if my starting TE gets hurt I dont mind rolling the dice to pick him up for a spot start. but I'd be scared to rely on him for more than that.

well, the two most annoying issues is when I'm on my phone it REALLY sucks the data. and when on my computer, if an ad pops up while I'm typing my message it will somehow move my cursor so I'm no longer typing in the message box and I have to mouse back to the message to continue typing. sometimes the ad will also cover up my message so I cant see what I'm typing. and lastly, if my submit reply button is too low and close to the ad it wont let me click on it without scrolling up to re position the button. I know... first world problems, but if you want the site to run more smoothly these are fixes that would help you. (if they are easy to make.... not sure that they are)

to be clear, despite whatever other reasons they gave, this was done to make more money. 17 game season=1 more game of regular season revenues. I also think a lot of teams are listing players as questionable even if they are not that injured.
-
D Waller ... now questionable, seriously, already ?
Ray_T replied to JT88-3013's topic in FFToday Board
hey the right kicker and Defense and you can give your team a 3-5 point advantage every week. Points are points. I dont care where they come from. -
I like Kmet too. I just dont like the guy tossing him the ball. with a different QB Kmet might be a legit TE1. last year it felt like his talent was wasted on that team. I have to believe it wont get worse than what it was last year, but I cannot guarantee it

even if Jeudy is fully healthy Olave is your play. the fact Jeudy is on the cusp of not playing makes this choice an easy one. Play Olave with confidence

I think Archane is in the most likely position to make an impact this year. The RB situation in miami is piss poor so they may end up looking to him sooner rather than later. So he is my pick. worth Noting Charbonnet is also a nice stash as he is talented, but the RB in front of him is far more entrenched as the #1 so this is more of a long term play .
-
yeah anything that hurts the offense as a whole usually will hurt the RB. if the team has a good line it could help the RB if they pivot to run the ball more, but the Rams line is not that good so I'd bet against that scenario.
-
who do you value most in a trade? I had kittle in one league and had someone outside the league ask me if I'd trade him for Waller. I actually had to think about it. thought this might be a good question to poll the boys on. Who do you like better?
-
so its the Marshall and Mingo show. one of these guys likely does something. flip a coin. I am betting on Mingo
