or he extends his recovery another week before returning. well, there are a lot of permutations and combinations. but all I'm saying is we can likely count on 6 games. after that it gets dicey.
-
There is a downside to stacking..... what if Mahomes gets hurt? you may lose 2 players due to one injury. Sure, Kelce will play, but how many yards to you realistically expect him to produce with a backup at QB? food for your thoughts.
-
well, if you design the league along with the wacky rules, in theory you should know how to win them
-
I got a feeling about sanders. playing atlanta doesnt hurt either. but Dotson is not a terrible option either.
-
this is the answer and it isnt even close.
-
wow, I didnt know the man had a history. those looked like serious charges......

like it or not, if he sits out, he does not become a free agent at the end of the year. he needs to be on the roster a certain number of games. first 4 are covered while on PUP. but after that I think he needs to play 6 more (someone correct me if I'm wrong on this) so I would count on him being active for at least 6 games after coming off the PUP. otherwise he has extended his hell in Indy by one year. I think he is sufficiently motovated to not let that happen. after the 6 games played all bets are off.

fair analysis. if by some fluke KC is losing in the 4th Quarter that is when Gray will get high use. from what I can tell, his special skillset is to find that gap in the zone and wait for the pass. Mahomes will hit him all day long if the other team plays a lot of zone D. point worth mentioning, the guy got 300 yards receiving last year as the backup to Kelce. Not bad given what a workhorse Kelce is.

yeah, the whole I'm perfect and all of you are not thing. fully agree.
-
sounds about right to me. but if the health of the line and various other players ends up being terrible like last year, it could get a whole lot worse real fast. the reason I think he does well enough to not get pulled is the WR on that team are good enough to cover up some of the flaws in his game.
-
I noticed that as well. as a 4th QB there is certainly value if you are right on this.
-
this does not qualify as a value pick. Thanks
-
Thanks for your insight. an honest opinion from a Tampa Homer. I dont disagree with the analysis. though I think baker is slightly better than you are saying. I think he plays just well enough to not get pulled in favour of Trask but not well enough to get them to the playoffs.
-
well, I think he wore out his welcome with a few people. maybe feels he doesnt get the respect he deserves. hes decent in terms of knowledge but the delivery of that knowledge rubbed people the wrong way. its that whole I never screw up so you should listen to me thing. we all make mistakes. but trying to tell everyone you're perfect? come on. either way, I do still think he was an asset to the board. he certainly liked his drafts with funky rules but those posts were at times informative and interesting.

oh come on, saying hes going for the hot hand is code for if you play well, you get the job. (at least until Taylor returns)

no need to stream if you have two Kickers and D already. Herbert is fine at QB Bijan is top notch, but Pierce and Dobbins both are high end RB2 players who have the ability to be an RB1 if their game improves from last year to this year. Lamb is totally fine. not keen on your depth at WR but that only really matters on a bye or if your starter gets hurt. Andrews is a top 3 or 4 TE. Defense is top notch and so are your kickers. overall I give an A minus. only reason this isnt an a is because your depth players at WR are not as good as I'd like to see. but you have all the right players in the starting positions to compete.
-
Goff for sure. Richardsons first game or two might be rough. you dont want THAT on the fantasy scoresheet when you have a perfectly fine QB in Goff you can play.
-
Hes a smart guy. it wasnt his advice I didnt like, it was the way he delivered the advice.
-
I still question whether he will miss time, but Noah Gray is the guy to pickup if he does miss time. hes good enough to start on more than a few teams. hes just not starting here because Kelce can still play.
-
not bad. pretty solid overall. in this format Tanehill as your third QB is a very good move. I did the same in my 2 QB keeper league. I got Tanehill as my third QB as well. its not a name that thrills people but hes solid and reasonably consistent and if either of your QB get hurt or are ineffective you have an option. and he has a nice upgrade in Hopkins at WR. should have a better season than he had last year. Well done.
-
thats a big ouch if you spent a first on the guy. good news is... this type of injury wont keep him out more than a week or two I suspect. there is a slightly increased risk of soft tissue injuries after the recovery but I wouldnt worry much about that.
-
people often generalize based on the stats from the year prior. for him the x factor is whether picket can transition from prospect to legitimate starter. I feel like that transition started late last year but that process may stretch for a few games into this season or it may already be complete. I think its fair to knock him down a couple spots in your RB order because of this. it does feel like most fantasy sites have over compensated for this risk. I think the floor for him is what he did last year. but he still has a reasonably high ceiling and I think the line is a bit better than it was this time last year too. so there are things to like here.

I always find it funny. teams go out and spend 200 M on a QB and then wont spend money or draft capital on decent linemen to protect their 200 M investment. I'd say its bad football, and also a bad investment.
-
no idea. all I know is on another thread I noted he hadnt posted in a while. its weird, usually around this time hes gloating about how his draft was better than all of ours.
