I just read a story where the DUKE football team is going to pay their QB 4 mil a year for 2 years. DUKE. If you are a college STAR at a big university why would you enter the draft? At this point as a college star athlete the road to go is to get a huge NIL deal right out of high school, redshirt, then play your 4 years. Make 20, 30, maybe 40 million and be so financially secure that if a team drafts you and you do not like them you can just sit out that season and go back into the draft. This the wild wild west man. At the very least this will cause a disruption in the talent pipeline for the NFL. Players NOT wanting to come out because they NEED to make money for their family.
