There is a better chance that DEI will be outlawed by a scotus ruling than it being accepted as common practice in 10 years.
-
DEI advocates are coming out of the woodwork to defend the practice against the backdrop of silicone valley looking like they are starting to get tired of it ang give it up.
-
I have to take DEI training at every single place I have worked. Same . Over and over. Nothing ever changes. In every training it is a white male making inappropriate comments, slapping a womans asss, just generally being a bad guy. In EVERY single one.
-
Yep. I have to be prepared for 2 different interviews. One that is revolted by the idea of DEI and one that wants to make sure that even if DEI is outlawed you will still fill the funnel with minority and people of color candidates despite it being outlawed.
-
I interviewed for 2 positions recently. I did not get either. The first wanted me to explain in detail how I would find people of color and females. I did my best but I could tell that I did not hit the mark for what they were looking for(likely not enough melanin in my skin). The second almost visibly recoiled at the idea of DEI recruiting. I could literally see her demeanor change when I mentioned it.

The judge offered a redacted version of the transcript. Which is bullshitt, does not contain all the information they talked about and did not allow his lawyers to be present. At this point we have to take a court at their word this is what was said when they clearly have made it a point to go outside of the norms of law and cast doubt on the courts ability to be impartial
-
It is completely a waste of time and money. Anything less than an acquittal is going to be immediately appealed and overturned. It should be a mistrial and the judge should be censured.
-
It seems like there would be a mechanism in place to stop a trial when a judge is clearly out of line.

He does not have to fail in order to not live up the his lofty draft projections now as the 4th rb off the board. I could easily see Gibbs, Henry, Achane,Jacobs and cook all having better seasons and all being drafted outside the first. He can still put up good numbers and just not be worth a first round numbers.
-
Justin Jefferson at #6 overall. I do not care how good you are if the guys throwing you the ball are Darnold and rookie McCarthy you are going to be hard pressed to put up numbers to justify that early of a pick.

Clearly they are lizard people who have the ability to take over the world. Just not the ability to fake an 80 year old woman

I 100 percent believe this. I do not really think he cares about anything other than his legacy. First it was just to be a presidential candidate(till the Dems screwed the pooch and inadvertently got him elected) and now being the only 2nd president to serve non consecutive terms. I do not think for a second he cares about policy. Like any politician he cares about selling people on ideas. Almost all of which are not actually his but the yes men that surround presidents. -

That sure does not seem like someone who is xenophobic or anti-immigrant. Gives educated people a pathway to citizenship and will help with the declining birth rate here. I think it is a great idea. -
Were not talking about the NBA. Were talking the big 3. But yea. She would still be small even for the big3 and would have had to shoot from range
-
I bet she would be a good shooter. She would be a liability on defense though.
-
Yea, and she could have made bank playing in a league that is bound to be more entertaining than this product

Rapper Young Thug’s attorney files motion to recuse Judge Glanville from the YSL trial
kilroy69 posted a topic in The Geek Club
I am not going to lie. I had never heard of Young Thug. I legit could not pick him out of a lineup of 3 random men that looked like him. All this being said. I know bullshittt when I see bulllshitt. And this is bullshit. Young Thugs lawyers found out about an illegal meeting the judge had with the prosecution and a witness where they leaned on him to testify. When the lawyer questioned the judge about it he never denied that it happened. I picked up on the case when the judge tried to toss the lawyer in jail for 10 weekends until he told the judge where he found out about the information. NOT that it didn't happen. The judge did not even deny it happened. He was just mad the defense found out about it. The courts in Ga stepped in to stay his contempt charge but the judge refuses to recuse himself. Even though the lawyer has told the judge he is now going to call him as a witness because of all of this. ALL of this seems super sneaky by the judge and makes it likely doomed to appeal. -
Chicago boy, 7, shot and killed in front of own home

I blame the parents. I do. Why would you live in the ghetto? If you have kids it is your responsibility to keep them safe. If my area started having gun fights and random people killed at all times because of gang activity and rampant violence I would move. America is HUGE. You can literally go anywhere and rebuild without the nonsense that comes along with gangland. This may not be gang related and they almost assuredly did not mean to hit him but the likelihood of being hit by bullets in small town USA is incredibly low. Go there as a parent. -
Every time Clark touches the court the attendance doubles no matter who they play. She really would have been better off taking Ice Cubes offer and getting paid

Instead of calling for less GUN violence maybe he should be calling for less violence in general. The Hutu-Tutsi conflict in Africa killed almost a million people in 10 days with manchettes. I wonder if that is more acceptable, because they did not use guns. -
I am not a liberal but I can tell you that any win by the republicans is more dangerous for the democrats. If the republicans win and a liberal justice has to retire/dies it would basically kill the democratic party as we know it and the republicans would have a stranglehold on the scotus like we have never seen. Their opinions would become laws. I am not a republican or a democrat but I can see what the fears would be. I do not think trump was a bad president last time. He probably will not be one this time. I will vote for Trump because biden looks like he is going to forget to breathe at any moment. Like 2nd term Regan before we really knew about alzheimer's

I am just not doing anything outdoors unless it is swimming. Anything else I have to do outdoors is early in the morning or after 7. Anything else is not bearable and I am not even in one of the hot states. I grabbed an AC unit last year from menards that keeps my entire apartment ice cold.

I would guess that ALL the new WNBA fans watch because of clark. That is the SINGLE reason why I tried watching.
