How long till an NFL ref is attacked by a player for a terrible call
kilroy69 posted a topic in FFToday Board
I have seen some absolutely terrible calls that are all subjective. A lot of them are clearly not correct and yet the officials do not even care they are making the wrong calls. On things that are very clearly wrong during replay they maintain the call is correct on the field like 90 percent of the time. I watched a linemen for the vikes get HIS helmet torn off while rushing the passer only to have hands to the face called........ON HIM. At no point could this have happened and yet the ref just said fock it. How long till one of these mountains of men take their rage out on one of the refs who are focking with their money. When you take away stats from players that effects their ability to earn. Sooner or later one of these fringe players are going to lose their and waffle stomp a ref. -

I have seen some calls this year that defy logic. Been a football fan for 40 years. This is the worst time ever for the refs. When they go the replay you can clearly see it was a bad call and yet the refs will not admit they were wrong. A personal foul on the defense when will levis slid into them. A personal foul on a qb hit where the defense pulled up at the last second and flew OVER the qb. with his FOOT baaaaaarly touching the QB as he went over the top of him. No way it was a penalty but the announcers were like yep...he touched his leg. They should just do away with defense all together and just let the offense run a scrimmage vs ghost defenders. -
He is owned in less than half of yahoo leagues.

I got something from them about 3 years ago. They randomly wiped out like 2k of old med debt I had no idea was even there. Sent me a letter that has "this is not a bill" in big letters on the front. I thought it was fake till I looked it up

I have only had the chills like that once before when I put myself into shock by drinking an ice cold water after playing with my kid for a few hours in the sun. I literally could not get warm and I shook so violently that my hamstring hurt the next day.

Same. I had a case of violent chills the other night. It was insane. It left me drained the next day. I am still coughing but the chills are not here anymore. I really thought I got the flue for the first time in many years.

What is amazing to me is that she justifies it. It is bad enough she is just lying but to turn around and explain that it is really ok is just stupid.

I really liked the "LGBTRQ for Palestine" sign I saw not long after the attack. The people in Palestine would stone you to death for being your "authentic self"

Ex-NHL player Adam Johnson dies after reportedly suffering neck injury during game
kilroy69 posted a topic in The Geek Club
I am kinda surprised this does not happen more often. Imagine how the guy who's skate that was feels. Oct. 29 (UPI) -- Former NHL player Adam Johnson is dead following a "freak accident" during a game in Britain's top hockey league, according to the Nottingham Panthers, the team for which Johnson, 29, was playing. The Panthers were playing the Sheffield Steelers in The Challenge Cup game when Johnson suffered a cut to the neck by a skate during an on-ice collision. Officials stopped the game in the second period, and the 8,000 fans in attendance were later asked to leave the stadium in Sheffield where The Challenge Cup was being played due to what the team called a "major medical emergency" in a social media post. Johnson, an American, received emergency medical treatment from paramedics on the ice. Fellow players formed a ring around him right after the accident. Screens were raised around Johnson, and the players returned to the locker rooms. The Panthers announced Sunday that Johnson "tragically passed away following a freak accident at the game in Sheffield last night," adding that the team was "devastated." "The club will dearly miss him and will never ever forget him," the statement read. "Adam, our number 47, was not only an outstanding ice hockey player, but also a great team-mate and an incredible person with his whole life ahead of him. "The Panthers would like to send our thoughts and condolences to Adam's family, his partner, and all his friends at this extremely difficult time. "Everyone at the club including players, staff, management and ownership are heartbroken at the news of Adam's passing." South Yorkshire police were called to Utilita Arena in Sheffield at about 8:25 Saturday night in response to a player having been seriously injured during the game. "Officers attended the scene alongside other emergency services and one man, aged in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries," the statement from police said. "Sadly, he was later pronounced deceased at hospital. "Our officers remain at the scene carrying out enquiries today and our investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident remain ongoing." Johnson was playing in the Elite Ice Hockey League, considered Britain's best. The EIHL postponed Sunday's scheduled games in light of "deeply upsetting news," the league said. "The thoughts of everyone connected with the EIHL are with Adam's family, friends and team-mates at this incredibly sad and difficult time," the league added. The Panthers asked that fans respect the privacy of Johnson's family and friends in this difficult time and as they "seek to come to terms with our grief." "Rest in peace Adam," the Panthers said. Johnson previously played 13 games for the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League. "Adam will always be a part of the Penguins family. It was our honor to watch him fulfill his dream of playing in the National Hockey League," the Penguins said in a statement. "Our prayers and deepest condolences go to his family, friends and team-mates," the NHL added. -

Enjoy that standing O. The cops charged him with manslaughter today. -
Odd fact of the day. Mattman was what Matthew Perry called his alter ego.

Jesus I suck so bad at betting. Whatever I say bet against it.

Probably a personal grudge. I refuse to go to detroit. For any reason. It is a wasteland of crime and poverty and if you go there as a white person you are a cop, looking for drugs or dumb.
-
Detroit is an absolute shitthole. This happens every day there and is very likely not a hate crime.
-
Jamel Dean (concussion) and Carlton Davis (toe) are questionable to play in the game. In addition, rookie defensive back Josh Hayes has also been ruled out due to a concussion. They elevated a cb from the practice squad. They are about to be torched by levis.

Hahaha the title makes me laugh. I am betting heavy on Tenn this week against a decimated defensive secondary of the bucs

I do not think it has anything to do with liberalism. I think this is the long term consequences of Regan gutting mental health reform in the 80s and the cascading effects we still see to this day in the way mental health is treated. -

I think you are overlooking the major issue of mental health and confusing it with a gun control issue. I have ZERO doubts that if we banned ALL guns today that a new way to kill our fellow man would pop up almost immediately. -

Ok so they put him on the field. Still tanking.
