New office employee rants about working 9 to 5

Oh for sure. I worked onsite for years and paid my dues. I drove the racetrack that is I94 daily and seen some crazy shitt. At a certain point I just got tired of the commute and started to look for remote jobs. I could not be happier. That being said I really believe that if you are forced to come into the office the company should offer something to offset that. Lunch, gas cards, a bonus at the end of the quarter for coming in. Things that show a company understands that you are commuting to the job and it costs both time and money for you.

New office employee rants about working 9 to 5

Orrrr allow people who CAN be remote TO be remote. I am a recruiter. I have literally no need to be in an office. Ever. I can get my job done sitting on my pontoon. What would ever make me want to go back to wasting 15 hours a week if I did not have to. A lot of jobs are like this. A lot of jobs can be done at home.

I know this is going to sound nuts but the vikes look better as a team without cousins focusing on Jefferson. He is spreading the ball around and going through his reads.

New office employee rants about working 9 to 5

I do not see a lot of hating work. What I see is a lot of people starting to question the idea of free hours. If I am going to come INTO the office you should pay me for the commute. Even if it is only 20 mins. I was commuting 3 hours a day at one time to do a job I have been easily doing from home for years. Just so I could make a living wage. That is 15 hours a week I was losing from my life. For freeeeeeeee. That is not even counting the gas or the stress of having to fight 94 every day. The cost of going IN to work is what I hear most people complain about. Not the hours or even the job.

I contract. Have been doing it on and off for years. It is good way to make money. If you work on a contract you typically get a premium that you are not going to get as an employee. She may be better off going that way.

New office employee rants about working 9 to 5

I refuse to go to the office to do my job. There is just no reason for it. Did an interview not long ago where the employer wanted me in the office 4 days a week. It would have been a 3 hour round trip commute daily. Just so they could watch me do my job. I have no issues with a 9-5 although I work a 10-6 typically or 11-7. I will NOT commute to a job longer than 30 mins a day. Anything else is stealing time from me unless I get paid for the daily commute. Working from an office is punishment. I am also not entry level though.

Were you bullied as a child?

Fock yes I was. I had a bully named Scott. I focking hated that kid. He went out of his way to do mean that included beating the crap out of me. Knocking my book bag out of my hands. Pushing me into mulberry bushes. Dropped a bookback on my face from a second floor landing at church. He was sneaky about it all. Everyone else thought he was such a great kid. I knew he was the devil. Not long after we learned to drive he "fell asleep" on the way home from a party. Rolled his suv and was ejected from the windshield into a tree. It was literally the only time in all my life I have ever laughed at someone dying. I felt like a maniac then and still do now a little but I could not help but think "it could not have happened to a bigger " I even went to his funeral and pretended to give a just to make sure he was dead. The sheer happiness I got from seeing that cocksuckker dead was astounding. It was like having a 170lb weight lifted off me. Each year when his death date come up I see people talk about it and I still smile inside. He would have turned out to be a focking monster. Probably a serial killer.

UPDATE: Purdy got concussed? - Will Start Wk8

Purdy has looked bad but it really goes to show how much they rely on the combo of Mccaffery and Debo. They feed off each other and allows Auik to slide into a complementary role while kittle works the middle. The fact that Debo is out is a really big deal and I doubt that Darnold is going to be able to fix that.

I just do not think they are that good. Both teams are in the back half for rushing and passing D in the last 3 games but Buffalo seems to have had the floor drop out.

Shocker. The Giants pull off the upset with Hussey crew working the game. Husseys crew has worked upsets in at least 3 games this year. KC to start the season, The browns game and then the giants. Seems super legit.

Lost out on an 800 payday last night. by 3 yards for Aiuk. All he needed was 60 yards receiving. FML

Baltimore is 2nd in passing yards allowed this year at 163 yards a game and 9th against the run. That being said they played CJ stroud in his first game, Joe burrow hurt, The browns who started Dorian thompson robinson and the Titans who lost Tannahill in game. I think the lions win by 10.
  21. Nice to see Jada Pinkett Smith in the background supporting her friend
  22. Can we at least all agree on one thing. Jada is a sociopath, The only bullet Tupac ever dodged and probably is going to kill Will Smith eventually in a murder suicide like Phil and Bree Hartman.

I like the saints to cover the points and the under of 40.5. Saints defense is 5th against the pass and 10th in rushing while the Jags are 18th against the run and 28th against the pass. One of these things is not like the other and it is the Jags. https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/rushing-yards-per-game is where I get my stats from My parlay on the game tonight is Michael Thomas over 44.5 Alvin Kamara over 45 rushing and 45 receiving. Chris olave 60 plus receiving yards Christian Kirk over 45 recieving yards Saints moneyline 50 dollars @ +2500 for a payout of 1300 possibly
