Holy crap this is terrible

Everyone has different ways to lose weight. some of you are saying caloric deficit. That is what these WLDs do. They put you into a caloric deficit by suppressing your appetite. I do not care if you call me lazy or not. I am ok with taking an injection and just losing the fat because I forget to eat for 3 months. Then working on a healthy eating plan in the meantime. There will be a time when being fat shows you have no insurance. These WLDs will be covered as preventive care.

I weigh 190lbs at 5 ft 9. I am not a crapper busting fatty but I am 49 and my metabolism is just not what it used to be. I can walk and exercise but I always seem to stay at 190. I plan on taking ozempic or one of the WLDs as soon as my insurance kicks in next month. I would ideally like to get down to 150.

I came over in the great Thehuddle.com purge when they started to charge for access and never went back. 25 years. I have been posting here for around half my total life and most of my adult life. Who has been here the longest that still posts?

This should not shock anyone. It has been abundantly clear to me and anyone watching that all these businesses adopted BLM/DEI as a performative measure to fend off the left. Now that the left is no in power you are seeing a nationwide rollback of these policies. What IS shocking to me is how many black people are getting bent out of shape over this. After years of the democratic party doing this to them you would think they would see it coming.

I never delete anything. Why go through the time to do that?

Is going to annex a large portion of syria and double in size. This is going to be the only chance they may ever have to do this and they are going to take it. Of course it was illegal. DEI gave them the authority to do this and not be questioned about it. And yes. That is exactly what they were doing. YOU just do not want to hear it because it does not fit your narrative that DEI is not racism under a pretty new acronym. (spoilers. It is). Years of seeing the same thing from the internal hiring side is not anecdotal evidence, it is proof of a pattern from an insider you choose to ignore. You seem to be a manager. By the time your candidates got to you the HR department likely already applied DEI to the job search without you even having a clue. If they CAN find a DEI candidate they will. If not, then the "settle" for the most competent person.

It is wrong if you are excluding other candidates based on race. Keep up.

That is absurd to think that telling a recruiter to find someone that does not look like them is not racist. It is blatantly racist. She was not making the pool bigger. She was shrinking it to ONLY minorities and people like YOU who are ok with that are OK with racism. Just say it.

DEI is another way of saying "no straight white males". I have been an IT recruiter for going on 11 years now and in that time among other things I have been instructed to find people who "do not look like me" from a female latina hiring manager. She made sure to circle her face and point to her skin on the call while talking to me to really force home the message she was saying. I then had to go reject perfectly qualified white men so I could hire a woman with less experience. I have had a recruiter tell me at the job I applied for "you are not going to get this. I am just being honest. We hit our quota for white males this year in February." I have been passed over for female coworkers that have done NOTHING to help the company while I was a top performer. Ya wanna know the craziest part is that DEI gave them the authority to say these things out loud and do these things without repercussions. I have worked at large tech firms that every single one of you know. This type of shitt has been going on behind the scenes for a while but was kicked into high gear by Biden. If you are not behind the scenes in hiring, do not speak as though you know what you're talking about. DEI is Affirmative action repackaged. The way that DEI is applied means that EVERYONE gets a hand up except a white male. Instead of a hand up they get pushed down. That is literally the point of DEI. To hold back straight white males while elevating everyone else. You do not even understand the concept of what is going on. YOU are the one who has been programmed by MSNBC, the MSM and NPR. They have you convinced that DEI is not racim when it clearly is. Sheep. I am working at an agency now and THE BEST thing about filling those positions is they do not care at all what anyone looks like. They just want people that can do the job.

My dad was a huge art bell fan. He worked at GM for 35 years and would listen on his way home and then would tell us all the crazy conspiracy theories when he woke up the next day.

Actually they are pretty on point for what has been going on. If you are a straight, white male you do not belong to a protected group. Where as EVERYONE else does. Therefore, you cannot even sue based on discrimination. Her lawsuit was tossed by lower courts because the majority have a higher bar to prove she was discriminated against. This in and of itself should be considered illegal discrimination.

What is crazy to me is that they believe they DESERVE a place on Air Force One because past presidents have allowed them to be there. That is focking insane.

I know we have some other old guys in here. Have you ever dyed it? I just tried some shampoo last week and I cannot get over the difference. At 48 I was mostly all silver in my beard while the hair on my head is still the normal brown it has been since I was 13. I used to laugh when I saw the Just for men commercials come on as a kid. Now here I am. I am not joking when I say this took 10 years or more off my face. Blends in really well and it only took 10 mins. My kid said "holy crap dad" when he saw me after doing it.

First time I have ever done it. I was talking to a buddy who is a year older than I am about the silver/white I have in my beard and joked how he seems to be holding up well. Turns out he has dyed his beard for the last 10 years. I just never knew.

I believe this to be true. What will happen is Pdiddys list will come out and it will have a lot of entertainment people on it and that will be the sacrificial lamb for the public. Epsteins list will just fade into the background
