Expert advice needed. Please pick 2 of these 3 for WR & a Flex
Showboat replied to Stu82's topic in A Little Help!
Tough call - I'd go with Tet and Warren. Diggs could be okay, but I think he already had his revenge game against BUF and gets held in check this time. -
TNF Discussion: Falcons @ Buccaneers - Week 15

I suspect that injuries to Mayfield himself is affecting his performance more than injuries to the rest of the offense. I wouldn't say that "everything " around him needs to be great for him to succeed. Earlier in the season he was playing decently with a patchwork O-line and a couple of rookie WRs as his main targets. His play really only fell off after the game he was injured and there was some uncertainty that he would miss a game or two. It's really on the Bucs coaches to determine if an injured Mayfield gives the team the best chance to win (and based on what we saw from Bridgewater, he probaby does). Mayfield is certainly in the top half of NFL starters, but football is the ultimate team game where the QB probably gets too much credit when things go well and too much blame when they fall apart. -
The Final All-Out Blitzes of the season (2025) ...

Guru, thanks for the insights and great article. I think I've narrowed my decision down to having to bench one of Sutton, Neal or Stevenson. With Pat Bryant ruled out, does that shift the needle enough to bench Sutton? Otherwise, I'm guessing that you would bench Stevenson out of those three (I just can't shake the feeling that he has the best chance to score multiple TDs, which would be huge for my league even if the yardage isn't there). Mostly, I think I need to be talked off the ledge.. -
Very tough PPR WR (2) and Flex options - please help!
Showboat replied to CajunBadger's topic in A Little Help!
Wandale, Meyers and Sutton - if you are set on starting Wilson, Sutton would be the one to send to the bench. -
Goedert and Henry are probably a coin flip for me - the main risk with Goedert is that Philly might limit the air attack and re-discover Barkley while they just runs over LV.

Agree, Henderson is the play. Stevenson will probably still be an annoyance, but I like Henderson's chances to take a long one to the house.

The Bucs seem content to give up the 35 yard line? -

The Bucs may want to think about making a little adjustment to cover #8. -
Harvey, Henderson, Marks and Williams. The only real question is Diggs or Waddle over Williams - I gave the nod to Williams because he shouldn't have to deal with weather and he should be in a shootout.

Limited to red-zone plays? -
I'd go with Marks if he gets the injury designation cleared. Harvey is a good fallback option.

Week 15 Start1 - Godwin, Boutte, Jeudy or Pearsall?
Showboat replied to Beer22's topic in A Little Help!
PPR, I think I'd go with Godwin tonight - his targets have been increasing every week he has been back. -
Olave and Deebo - I wouldn't trust the Cards to do anything against the Texans.
-
Diggs had his revenge game against the Bills - I think they keep him under control this time. Tet and Watson.
-
I think percentage play is to stick with Burrow here.
-
it's close, but I'd lean Williams too. I'm not expecting many points from the banged up Chargers against the Chiefs.
-
Likely has been getting a lot of looks recently, so I think he gives you the best floor and a spiked week against the Bengals who have had trouble with TEs is likely.

WRs & FLEX; Sutton, Egbuka, Jennings, W-Rob, Flournoy & M. Wilson
Showboat replied to Bills04's topic in A Little Help!
I agree with your thinking on Egbuka and can't bring myself to start him tonight, but I've been getting burned on these kinds of decisions all season so that means Egbuka will probably go off (and it is a good matchup). -
That's Breece Hall at RB2? I think I'd go with Walker over him (especially if the Jets have to go with Cook at QB) and then flex Watson.
-
The Bills have been pretty stingy against TEs. I'd roll with Theo.
-
I think injuries are impacting Mayfield - I wouldn't be starting him unless there was no other option.

The Final All-Out Blitzes of the season (2025) ...

Pick 4 of the following to start in week 15: D,Neal v.CAR R.Stevenson v.BUF E.Egbuka v.ATL (Thur) T.McLaurin @NYG C.Sutton v.GBP H.Fannin @CHI J.Ferguson v.MIN I'm really tempted to sit all of the WRs for a TD league with bonuses for 100 yards. -
FU to the NFL officiating. Replay assist was supposed to ensure the correct call gets made. Instead, half the time it overturns perfecly good calls made on the field or lets obviously incorrect calls stand. I don't know how anyone could bet any significant amount of money on this game that is ripe for corruption.

I think Evans has already been confirmed out. I'd actually feel better about Egbuka if Evans was in to draw some defensive attention away (his best games were early in the season when Evans was playing). Still, I'd go with Egbuka. I think their floors are about the same, but Egbuka's ceiling is much higher if he can get on the same page with Mayfield.

Play it straight up and play to max your score every week - to play any other way is kind of a doosh move
