Agree, at this point, Dowdle seems like the safer play (though I've got Guerendo going against me, so it's likely he will turn into the 2023 version of McCaffrey for at least one week).

You may be underestimating the lunacy of NFL free agency. He will be one of the biggest names available in a WR-happy league. It only takes one desperate team.

Read that the Ravens would be better off keeping him as he is a free agent at the end of the season and they can get draft pick compensation if he signs with another team.

Not sure on all the history of scoring rules, but to me it is similar to YAC - if the QB throws a 2-yard forward pass (even if is behind the line of scrimmage) and the receiver runs 60 yards for a TD it goes down as a passing TD (and a TD reception) and all of the yards between the line of scrimmage and the endzone are credited as both passing yards and receiving yards. Now, if on that same pass the receiver runs 30 yards and then laterals to another player who runs the remaining 30 yards for a TD, the passing stats are exactly the same, but the receiving yards are split between the two players involved and only the player who actually caught the pass gets a reception and the other gets credit for the remaining receiving yards and the receiving TD.

I'm not sure I would drop any of those for him. Guerrendo has looked good in limited touches but I'm not convinced he will step right in and be effective as the main guy. I could see the 49ers leaning on Deebo a bit more.

I think you wait on Devonta. If there is morning news that he is definitely out, go with Westbrook. If he is still a GTD and utlimately doesn't play you can go with Jeudy as a plan B.
