I would rank Douglas, Jeudy, Vidal, Goodson. Douglas seems to have the most upside which is what I'd think you want in a bench player. I'd only consider Vidal if you want to cuff Dobbins. Similar to Goodson with respect to JT, but it's not clear to me that he has passed Sermon on the depth chart (even though he has performed better).

Thanks, that was my initial inclination because it's a good matchup on paper, but JAX has had the advantage of all week to acclimate to London. Plus the GTD gives me pause (potential limitations, decoy usage, increased risk that injury flares up) not to mention that he seems one fumble away from an extended stint on the bench. That's a lot of yellow flags to ignore.

Going forward for ppr: Douglas has the most upside (but a bit of a risk in that there is not a large sample size to determine who will be Maye's favorite target) Jeudy has a path to the most targets, but half of them will be uncatchable if Watson remains at QB. Sutton is probably the most talented, but Payton seems intent on limiting the Denver passing game with Nix (if going with him you'll be betting that changes as we get deeper into the season).

Agree with others and it's a fairly easy call. Sermon has proven to be in over his head. Even if JT sits again, I'd have to imagine that the Colts give Goodson more chances and with A.Rich likely back, he'll probably be the first option for a short yardage TD..

Agree with the other responses, though I could see going for Douglas over Sutton if you trust Maye more than Nix.

No.

drop DeAndre Hopkins to pick up a different WR?
Showboat replied to Gepetto's topic in A Little Help!
I'd rather have JuJu over Hopkins at this point. Also, in ppr, it might be worth taking a flier on Jeudy. With Cooper gone, he should see an uptick in targets - I wouldn't have high expectations but seems like a reasonable gamble for your #7 WR. -
Is Aubrey really that much ahead of Boswell, McLaughlin or Reinhard? If you are set on keeping Aubrey, I'd consider dumping Kraft (or possibly Geno) - kind of depends on who your starters are and who is available (with shallow benches, I'd expect some decent players left on the wire to pick up after week 7).
-
Standard Scoring - pick 2 out the following to start in week 6: C.Brown @Giants A.Gibson v.Texans T.Sermon @Titans LaPorta @Cowboys T.Kraft v.Cardinals

Tough call. If playing for a safer floor benching Olave is probably the right call. However, sometimes the back-up QB will pepper their #1 with targets, so I think benching Sermon would probably give a higher ceiling.
-
Polk probably has the highest upside if he finds a connection with Maye. With the rest you kind of know what you are getting.
-
Probably Ekeler, (easily if BRob sits).
-
I'm starting Baker going against Dak, so that means YOU should probably be starting Dak.
-
What makes it fair is the uncertainty about where Adams ends up. After it is determined where Adams lands, I don't think that trade gets made.
-
McLaurin for sure. It's probably more of a coin flip between Smith and Wilson. I think I'd go with Rodgers #1 target over Smith coming back from injury and having to compete for targets with AJ Brown in a game where Philly should leaning heavily on the run game.

Next week we'll need a post on LaPorta?

How confident are you that Maye won't face-plant in his first start and will move to O better than Brisett? it is not a move I would make.

Assuming the Ravens Run D remains stout, WAS will need to move the ball through the air. Ertz seems to get a lot of redzone looks, so I would rank them: Ertz Kmet Strange

Bigsby and Dowdle. Probably sub in Tracy for Dowdle if Singletary doesn't play. If Singletary plays, I think that will be a full blown RBBC situation to avoid. Sermon got nicked up and didn't really shine in his opportunity last week - even if JT sits again I think Goodson will be in the mix.
-
I'd go with Raiders vs. Pit.
-
I think I'd make the play for Bigsby. Mostert is no spring chicken - age could finally be catching up to him and I don't think the concussion will keep Achane out more than a week or 2.
-
Be careful with that. I'm likely starting Tolbert this week, too. Last week my sure-fire plug-and-play was Wicks. I was only saved by someone else grabbing him off the waiver wire ahead of me.
-
I'd go with Chase Brown and Godwin and bench Najee. Raiders-Steelers have a lot of history and I think Pierce has the Raiders ready to stop an underwhelming Steelers O.

38-38 Tie in OT. Lamar fumbles the snap. Bengals recover.
Showboat replied to Drogon's topic in FFToday Board
Bengals went way too conservative after the turnover. Three runs into the strength of the Ravens D might make sense if setting up a 30 yard field goal but not for a 50 yarder.
