Stafford. I think facing a rookie QB at home is a good opportunity for the Ravens D will turn it around (especially coming off a divisional loss).
-
Logic would suggest that Brown should have a big role as the Bengals roll, However, with football being an illogical game I could see the Bengals getting thumped 34-3.
-
Don't think I'd be considering Bigsby, even if ETN sits. Brob has been a consistent as they come, but if cleared Tracy probably has the best combination of floor and ceiling. Chase has been pretty consistent, too, but I consider him less likely to go off with a really big game (and there seems to be something off with the Bengals overall). So, I guess my pick at this point would be Tracy. Second league, you shouldn't over-think it - Monty.
-
Legette (if active - need to watch the injury reports), otherwise Lockett.
-
Mooney is probably the pick for PPR, but Mostert would be tempting. He's been a TD machine but he is probably not helping you much if he isn't scoring TDs.
-
They are saving him for when they post another 5 losses and literally must win.
-
Lawrence - garbage-time points are your friend. Philly ought to be able to start playing the prevent D early in the 3rd quarter.
-
If cleared, I'd sub Tracy for D, Smith and if you really want Downs, it wouldn't be outrageous to sub him in for McLaurin.
-
Tough call. My bold pick is to bench Mixon, but if you can't stomach benching one of the hottest RBs in the league, bench Conner.

General question regarding flex rankings
Showboat replied to rotisserieking's topic in A Little Help!
If you want opinions, post a WSIS thread. I'd start Conner over Reed this week as I think he is the safer play. Reed is more volatile and I could see going with him if you'd expect to need a moonshot to win but he is much more likely to end up with a dud. -
General question regarding flex rankings
Showboat replied to rotisserieking's topic in A Little Help!
The short answer is that if you want to see someone else's flex rankings you need to shell out for it or do your own correlations. I don't think there is any simple rule that always ranks the WR18 higher than the RB20. I find it trickier with TE, because there are usually a handful of TEs that could be ranked higher than the WR3s (and sometimes even the WR2s). You can look at projected stats, but those are even more of a crapshoot. -
I think the handcuff makes sense. If Bijan goes down, I'd rather be able to plug in Allgeier over Ekeler or Mattison. Probably drop Ekeler.

He got the right foot down twice. One knee equals two feet, but two right feet does not equal a right foot and a left foot. -
The NFL product on the field across the board - GARBAGE
Showboat replied to lod001's topic in FFToday Board
I would actually argue that all analytics for football are pretty much garbage because when they consider a large sample size across historical games, they don't consider that all of the moving parts are NOT interchangeable. The interaction of 22 guys on a field presents a unique situation every time - it's not like rolling fair dice. When the analytics say that going for it on 4 and 5 in whatever situation is the right move, it is ridiculous to think that the same answer applies to both Mahomes going against the Panthers and Bryce Young going against the Chiefs not to mention the multitude of other factors that cannot really be quantified (injuries, game momentum, etc.) -
The NFL product on the field across the board - GARBAGE

The ending may have been dramatic and exciting, but a final jump-ball heave is not really good football. The Bears were counting their chickens before they hatched instead of focusing on actually playing defense on the last two plays. -
What's happening with Cooper? Only one target so far!!
Showboat replied to HTH's topic in FFToday Board
When was the "very good" game? Week 7 was decent but not to the level of "very good". Cooper has always been a bit streaky with one or two monster games, a half-dozen duds and the rest are in that decent category (4-50-1 or 8-100-0) -
Not sure about god, but maybe Brady's luck has been passed down to him.

SNF Discussion: Cowboys at 49ers - Week 8

Somebody in NY must have a prop bet on a Purdy rushing TD. Not sure how they can confirm a TD when the elbow is clearly down before the goal line and the ball is on the field side of his arm. -
FU McLaurin - way to make one play and disappear.
-
I'd rank them: BRob, Harris, Mooney, Chase (though Chase is lkely to go off on my bench this week). For TE, it is kind of a coin flip. I think I'd go with Pitts because he seems to be seeing consistent targets whereas Kraft seems to be more of a TD-dependent hit or miss.

WSIS #2: WR2 = Deebo / Pearsall, Shakir, or Pop Douglas?
Showboat replied to Bills04's topic in A Little Help!
If Deebo is active (and it looks like he will be) I think you have to go with him. Having Pearsall to plug in as a back-up plan, though not ideal, makes it worth bypassing all of the other players you mentioned. -
I think you have to go with Dowdle (I would feel good about it, but at this point starting Pearsall is just a random shot in the dark).
-
Probably Mason - I don't think the Purdy vultures will become the rule.
-
Think I'd rank Caleb over Murray for RoS. If Caleb-caliber QBs are availeble on a weekly basis in your league, streaming is probably a good option.
-
As mentioned above - tough call. I'd lean toward Harrison.
