Standard Scoring - pick 2 out the following to start in week 6: C.Brown @Giants A.Gibson v.Texans T.Sermon @Titans LaPorta @Cowboys T.Kraft v.Cardinals
-
Tough call. If playing for a safer floor benching Olave is probably the right call. However, sometimes the back-up QB will pepper their #1 with targets, so I think benching Sermon would probably give a higher ceiling.
-
Polk probably has the highest upside if he finds a connection with Maye. With the rest you kind of know what you are getting.
-
Probably Ekeler, (easily if BRob sits).
-
I'm starting Baker going against Dak, so that means YOU should probably be starting Dak.
-
What makes it fair is the uncertainty about where Adams ends up. After it is determined where Adams lands, I don't think that trade gets made.
-
McLaurin for sure. It's probably more of a coin flip between Smith and Wilson. I think I'd go with Rodgers #1 target over Smith coming back from injury and having to compete for targets with AJ Brown in a game where Philly should leaning heavily on the run game.
-
Next week we'll need a post on LaPorta?
-
How confident are you that Maye won't face-plant in his first start and will move to O better than Brisett? it is not a move I would make.
-
Assuming the Ravens Run D remains stout, WAS will need to move the ball through the air. Ertz seems to get a lot of redzone looks, so I would rank them: Ertz Kmet Strange
-
Bigsby and Dowdle. Probably sub in Tracy for Dowdle if Singletary doesn't play. If Singletary plays, I think that will be a full blown RBBC situation to avoid. Sermon got nicked up and didn't really shine in his opportunity last week - even if JT sits again I think Goodson will be in the mix.
-
I'd go with Raiders vs. Pit.
-
I think I'd make the play for Bigsby. Mostert is no spring chicken - age could finally be catching up to him and I don't think the concussion will keep Achane out more than a week or 2.
-
Be careful with that. I'm likely starting Tolbert this week, too. Last week my sure-fire plug-and-play was Wicks. I was only saved by someone else grabbing him off the waiver wire ahead of me.
-
I'd go with Chase Brown and Godwin and bench Najee. Raiders-Steelers have a lot of history and I think Pierce has the Raiders ready to stop an underwhelming Steelers O.
-
38-38 Tie in OT. Lamar fumbles the snap. Bengals recover.

Bengals went way too conservative after the turnover. Three runs into the strength of the Ravens D might make sense if setting up a 30 yard field goal but not for a 50 yarder. -
With Consins' monster game, it makes sense to play for a safer floor. I just don't aee a lot of upside with Mattison or Stevenson when they are likely playing in lower scoring games. That's why I see Brown as a higher ceiling play as he could be transitioning to the 1A role over Moss - the risk is that last week was a blip and he goes back to a change-of-pace 4-6 touches.

Chase Brown,, Justice Hill, Cam Akers, or Javonte Williams

I think I'd go with Brown and Williams, but Hill might actually have the highest floor in PPR. -
Najee seems like an obviois play against a Cowboys D that can't seem to stop the run, but I think I;'d roll the dice with Hunt.
-
For PPR, I think I'd go with Downs and Higgins.
-
If BRob is active, I'd start him over any of those other guys. Brown is probably the best of the rest, but if you get points for touches, Tracy might be the only one left standing for the Giants (though I wouldn't have high expectations that he will get much production out of those touches)..
-
I'll say Johnson - mostly because my opponent has him going against me this week. That pretty much means 10+ catches, 100+ yards and at least 1 (if not 2) TDs are guarenteed.
-
This is my hope, too. We'll see how it plays out on Sunday, but maybe Stevenson can benefit with some touches (i.e. runs on third and long passing situations) like Gibson has. Losing a "starting" job is sending a message, but keeping your best player off the field is not good coaching strategy (then, again, a lot of coaches have proven to be stubborn and/or not so bright). I could be wrong, but I suspect it ends up being about a 50-50 split with Stevenson getting the goaline carries (unless, of course, he fumbles again). For the OP, it's a tough call - Brown probably has a higher ceiling because that Pats-Fins game could end up being one of those 9-6 specials. Due to injuries and bye weeks, I've got to start both Stevenson and Brown. I'll probabaly just stick with them over waiver options like Gibson and Mattison.

If cleared, you've got to start Robinson. Flowers over Thompson.
