Richardson would seem to be a gamble, especially if not fully healthy. I would go with Stroud.
-
I would start Wicks over McLaurin.
-
Brown and Tracy
-
Probably Odunze, but I wouldn't have high expectations. With Allen back, I'm not sure Caleb can support 3 receivers and it's not clear to me who is #2 and who is #3.. With either one, you are probably counting on a random TD to save the day and I could see thinking Allen has a slightly better chance to score that TD.

I think I'd go with Wicks as both Doubs and Watson are doubtful. It makes sense that Wandale should see a bunch of targets, but he may have benefited from all of the attention that Nabors gets - not sure he will be as productive when the D can focus their attention on him. Stevenson's upside is probably limited in what is projected to be a low scoring game - the reports about losing his job to Gibson are probably motivational coach-speak. Even if he doesn't "start", I can't see the Patriots changing the workload much (unless, of course, he fumbles again).

TNF Discussion: Cowboys at Giants - Week 4
Showboat replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
Yes, but this isn't about a ticky tack PI penalty or even a non-call. It's like a receiver was tackled before the ball got there and a flag comes down penalizing the receiver for offensive PI. I've seen several expedited reviews come down to correct an obvious mistake made by the refs (no challenge flag - just a ruling from an apparent higher authority to correct an obvious mistake). I thought that was the purpose of expedited review and this seemed to be an obvious mistake - yet there were crickets. It's also the second week in a row that the Cowboys benefitted from a very questionable call (against the Ravens, Dak literally chucked the ball into the back of his lineman while being tackled in the endzone - no safety, no intentional grounding, move along, nothing to see here). Not sure if Jerry has got some dirt on somebody, but it is getting a bit ridiculous. -

Been reading about the faskmask call against the Giants that should have been against the Cowboys (the victim of the facemask actually got called for the penalty). Why can't the expedited review correct obvious screw-ups like that (especially when it's a 30 yard swing on an obvious mistake)? -
Johnston - there always seems to be one guy who rides an unsustainable TD rate to fantasy relevance (last year it was Sutton, this year I think it's Johnston).

With caveats, I would rank them: Jennings: seems like the ultimate point-chasing option, but if both Kittle and Deebo remain out, not sure how you keep him on the bench. Kittle looks like he will play, so that may eat into some targets. If both Kittle and Deebo play, I'd drop Jennings to the bottom of this list. McLaurin: after showing him the bench for his breakout last week, I'm starting McLaurin again so that means it may not be a good idea for you to start him. JW: turning in to a boom/bust option - he may be the pick if you need a high ceiling (with risk of a low floor). JSN: not sure I would want to start him - it's not clear to me that he has surpassed Lockett in the pecking order of a team that I don't think can support 3 FF WRs.
-
To the OP - not sure any of those options are better than the Ravens (even against the Bills).
-
The issue with the Dolphins is that you have to hope that their 3rd string QB doesn't put the D in bad spots.

I feel like Trevor Lawrence is getting too much of a pass

I agree. It would be different if the hair was working for him. Obviously it's not. He should show up next Sunday with a Johnny U cut. -
All the pre-draft downgrading JJ because of Darnold was crazy. I'm sure there are probably some very happy people who were able to snag him in the bottom half of the first round.
-
I didn't drop him, but sent McLaurin to the bench. Z. White is probably a candidate to inexplicably go off if I drop him.
-
I'd like to say Ford (with a great match up), but he seems to be losing touches to Foreman so that 's a risk. White has been limited, but if he is active pn Sunday I'd go with him over Swift.
-
Moss certainly has a nice schedule coming up with Was, Car and NYG 3 of the next 4 weeks. Maybe sell high after that.
-
Najee - BRob isn't playing the Giants this week and I think this is the week the Bengals will turn it around and stomp on an inferior opponent at home.
-
It really depends on your league - if QBs are really scarce (i.e .Dalton is literally the only starter available), it makes sense to be prepared with a bye-week sub. Of course, injuries can always occur, so you still may need to make adjustments even after you make the pick-up.

WSIS Drastically revamped my roster Need advice for Thurs Night
Showboat replied to HTH's topic in A Little Help!
If asking for Thursday, I don't think I'd start any of your Jets/Pats. Are you starting Mayfield over Dak? -
If you want a swing for the fences lotto ticket, Whittington might be the pick. Otherwise, Mooney will probably be the most consistent with the highest floor, but I would not expect his Monday night performance to become a habit - he is no higher than 3rd and probably 4th in the Falcons pecking order.
-
Pick 2 to start in week 3 (no ppr) Z. White v.Panthers S. LaPorta @Cardinals T. McLaurin @Bengals C. Sutton @Buccaneers
-
A couple of factors (in addition to QB talent): (1) watered down training camps and no pre-season reps (2) maybe defenses are finally catching up and figuring out how to deal with all the recent rule changes that favored the passing game.
-
Is Pittman the new McLaurin?
-
Perspective and patience is needed. He's only had 6 NFL starts. Some rough games are to be expected, but he has certainly shown the potential to dominate. Ideally, you'd like to see a bounce back this week and improvement as the season progresses.

Waivers - Week 2 Help Me Improve My Team Will answer yours

Assuming this is redraft, I wouldn't go after a TE. You have Kelce (probably a big investment) - he is certainly past his prime but you have to hope he picks it up and becomes serviceable as the seasons wears on. As soon as you bench him or drop him, he'll probably have that 3-TD game. Pierce and Johnston are probably both worth going after, but Mooney has the better passing QB. Allen had a breakout game, but those may be he only TDs he scores this season while Hill seems to have carved out a role in the Ravens O. Not sure you need to carry two D's and other than that, Odunze and Juedy could probably be dropped. You may want to consider dropping Puka - he could be out 7 weeks and expecting him to tear it up upon return may be a bit of a gamble.
