Rank the following 4 TEs for week 7 (no PPR, standard scoring) - due to injuries I may need to flex 2 or 3 of these guys: Ferguson v.WAS (role if Lamb is back?) Waller @CLE (the Dolphins are a bit of a mess right now) LaPorta v.TBB (the Lions have a lot of mouths to feed) Fannin v.MIA (Njoku status?)

TNF Discussion: Steelers at Bengals - Week 7

Nearly topped the 47 in one run. -
FLEX: Bam, Woody, Waller, W-Rob, or Tez Johnson?
Showboat replied to Bills04's topic in A Little Help!
I'd roll the dice with Tez if Egbuka sits - with the state of the Lions secondary that should be a high scoring game. -
Probably Pittman, but if there is a week for TreVeyon to breakout, this is it.

If looking for more of a floor: Shepard and JJ If looking for a higher risk ceiling: Worthy and Mims If looking to balance risk-reward: Worthy and Shepard

Taylor should get a ton of targets, so he is probably the best option among those but I wouldn't feel good about having to start him. Mayer could be a sneaky alternative assuming Bowers remains out, but is as just as likely to face-plant.
-
Wilson might attract a bit more attention from the defense. Without him maybe they focus that extra attention on keeping Fields in the pocket to prevent him from doing damage with his legs..
-
The real question is if Ferguson maintains value when Lamb comes back.
-
Ha! I got Chase Brown, too, and Nabers and McLaurin. Egbuka had been keeping me somewhat competitive (when not having to face career weeks from Jeanty and Tucker - yeah he was started against me THAT week), but now he is banged up, too. Just been one of those fff seasons.

NFL Player Health Common Knowledge vs Probabilities

In this age where "facts" don't exist, the powers that be can twist the data to support whatever narrative they want to promote . With both the league and the union, every decision is always about maximizing revenue and profit (regardless of the narrative they are trying to sell). -
Being on my fantasy team is an absolute kiss of death for kickers. Started the season with what I thought was a good kicker on a decent offense with McLaughlin. After nearly missing more kicks that he was making, I dumped him for Shrader. He was okay for for a couple of weeks but then lands on IR. Of course, McLaughlin starts tearing it up during that time, but he is still sitting on the wire. Needing a kicker, I get him again just in time for him to start missing kicks and getting limited opportunities. This probably belons in the FU thread, but thinking about offering a service where I let you know who my kicker is so you can be sure to avoid.

Guess he turned into Courtland Sutton.

SMF Discussion: Broncos @ Jets (London) - Week 6
Showboat replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I guess this will be another dud week for Sutton. -
Instead of banning the play, I don't know why they don't just officiate it correctly (using replay assist if necessary). The play will naturally go away if 4th and 1 too often turns into 4th and 6.

JSN is the no-brainer. After that here is a lot of question marks. I'd rank them: McLaurin would be a good option against the Bears on Monday night, but is doesn't look like he will play. Diggs is a decent bet to continue his hot streak. Olave should see a bunch of targets. Pearsall and Jennings may be back limiting opportunities for Bourne (but if neither play I'd go with him over Olave). Henderson still seems to be at best a 1B to Stevenson - you are kind of depending on another fumble. Vidal should have some kind of role - the matchup is nice, but no real clarity on how the beat-up Chargers will use him (or if their run game will be effective at all). Warren looks to be back, so who knows how the Steelers will handle their RBs.
-
Hopefully, you stuck with your hunch and did the opposite of what we all said here.
-
Yeah, I think you stick with Love coming off a bye against the hapless Bengals over Dart on a short week against an Eagles team who will be ornery after last Sunday.
-
FYI, the Chargers are playing in Miami. I think I'd stick with Waller. I have a similar decision and expect to be going with Waller over Chase Brown and McLaurin (unless there are solid news reports that he will be a full go on Monday night).
-
Gun-to-my-head, I'd go with Haskins. It seems like a juicy matchup with against the Dolphins, but the O-line is decimated right now and I think the phins tighten things up next week. Also, they brought back Hines so I expect the Charges to go full on RBBC. I'd avoid if at all possible.
-
Makes sense, but who knows. Hines was also re-signed and may end up with the most touches (See week 5 Arizona Cardinals where their practice squad guy ended up with the most touches).
-
Not sure that's true. Sure the the Bengals WRs are more talented, but their O-line looks quite leaky. With the Browns, Flacco had a decent running game that could open things up in the passing game. I'm not sure he will have that in Cincy.
-
I think zero is the appropriate answer. If Flacco can somehow cut down on the INTs (which is no sure thing) it may allow the Bengals to sustain some drives and possibly restore a little value to Brown and McPherson. I don't think it really changes anything for Chase and Higgins.
-
I just noticed that the Browns don't have a bye next week. Is this the first time a team has had to play in the US the week following a game in Europe? Not only that, but the Vikings had an extra week to aclimate to the time difference and next week the Browns have to play the Steelers coming off of their bye. Is this league punishment for the guarenteed Watson contract?

A normal TV with an antenna to pick up the signal works (for the ABC broadcasts) Crazy, huh?
