Well, now it's official. The Eagle D can't stop the run or the pass - most overrated defensive unit ever.
-
I think it is part of the CBA. It's a way players can guarantee they get a percentage of revenues (because I believe there is also a minimum spend, too - I'm sure owners wouldn't agree to a minimum spend w/o a cap).
-
Being down 34-7 the coaches need to show how smart they are.
-
I guess LaPorta is no longer a thing in the Detroit offense.
-
Pick one to start - standard scoring: AJ Dillon v. Chargers K. Herbert @ Lions R. Dowdle @ Panthers
-
I'd say keep Tank over Zay - he has already shown he can have spike games (unlike Zay).
-
Though league dynamics should also be considered, I think I'd make that trade: JJ still has a bye week coming up and there is always a risk that injury impacts linger - that it's taken so long already is a concern.
-
Coming out of the bye, their schedule is pretty good (except for maybe the Lions, but that is a home game and maybe a trap game for the Lions): at Falcons vs Lions vs Panthers vs Giants at Rams at Buccaneers
-
Wilson should be okay, but doesn't give you much of a ceiling - if you are in first place, I'd assume the rest of your lineup solid so maybe you don't need the QB to carry you. Dobbs certainly has more upside, but will the magic wear off (is he the next Case Keenam/Ryan Fitzpatrick)? If you have already decided that you won't be starting Howell, he's probably the one to drop.
-
Normally, I'd say Jones, but I think he is still affected by injuries. So, probably Conner - the only minus for ppr is that he wasn't active in the passing game in his return last week.
-
I think I'd try to get Monty in over Jones or Moore.
-
But the Bengals seem to have figured out Keaton Mitchell - 3 carries, still trying to get to positive total yards.
-
Or maybe it's just the fact that Gus is successful scoring short yardage TDs. It's actually refreshing to see a coach continue to go with what works instead of getting too cute.
-
The Panthers are one of the worst rush Ds in the league. If he doesn't make any noise this week, it's time to put a fork in him.
-
I'd say yes. Though in dynasty or deep keeper, Spears is potentially a better hold. I'm still skeptical that Keaton will ever be more that a COP back that will see more than 10 touches per game on a regular basis. Sure, he's demonstrated that he can do some damage with that workload, but I'm not convinced he will hold up physically (and there is a reason he went undrafted).
-
Nobody on that list has the upside that Mitchell has, except maybe JSN if Lockett is out (didn't practice Wed), but probably won't have any clarity on that until after the game tonight, so I think you've got to go with Mitchell.
-
Philly has been tough on opposing runners, so I don't see KC trying to lean on Pecheco. Mitchell may not get as many touches, but he is definitely a home-run threat. I think I'd gamble that he will hit one out of the park - go with Mitchell.
-
A tough one. I'd be hesitant to start Fields, but Love is an uninspiring option. I think the Packers will try to slow down the game with Jones and Dillon rather than get into a shootout against Herbert. So, I guess I'd go with Fields.
-
The Ravens could continue to lean on the running game in the red zone which could limit fantasy points from LJax, but as soon as you bench him, he'll go off for 4+ TDs and you'll feel foolish. Stick with Lamar.
-
I think I'd ride the hot hand on a better team rather than go with a QB on on worse team in his first game back from IR: Dobbs.

Unless your name is Joshua Dobbs. -

But isn't the backup's (only) job to be ready to go in at any time? -
Stevenson - a couple decent runs on the first drive and then garbage. Time to get your hotel out of your alpha.
-
He has certainly made a bunch of highlight reel catches this season.
-
I have a feeling the Broncos will regret not being a bit more aggressive on that last drive after the INT.
