And soak up most of the first quarter.
-
A bad look often leads to bad play - beware of a Jets upset.
-
Mayfield or McCarthy, who would you go with this week?
Showboat replied to Stu82's topic in A Little Help!
It's a reasonable gamble because the Bears D stinks. -
Maye - I don't think you can assume that Flacco will automatically reproduce what he did last time against the Steelers.
-
Kind of depends on who you replace him with.
-
Marks - he is starting to finally over-take Chubb while White is losing touches to Tucker.
-
I hope not. BB was a decent coach, but he has become a clown show and a has been. I don't think he offers anything over any of the other top coaching candidates. The Giants would be foolish to go in that directions (then, again, this is the organization that thought signing Russ would be a good idea).

Thowing on 4th down didn't much matter. if they run and don't make it, the clock still stops on change of possession. If they punt into the endzone, they only gain about 15 yards of field position - probably still the best option. The stupid call was two incompletions with about 2:30 left. GB should have had no timeouts when they got the ball back there.
-
Are the Eagles going to be stupid again and try a couple of Hurts throws?
-
Maybe - when Stevenson comes back, I wouldn't be surprised to see it go back to a 60-40 split at best (coaches are stubborn that way).
-
Dart being evaluated for a concussion - Wilson in.
-
Reports I've seen indicate Tet is likely to play.
-
Darnold - at this point I think you have to believe, but either are fine plays.
-
Due to bye week and injuries need a waiver wire pick up to plug and play in week 10. Rank the following: C.Otton v.NEP C.Austin @LAC T.Harris v.PIT D,Douglas @TBB A.Pierce v.ATL (London) J.Lane v.DET T.Jennings @TBB I.Likely @MIN
-
I'd lean towards Adams.
-
I would consider starting both Bears RBs - It seems that Monangai has earned more playing time, and it's uncertain if Swift will step into his previously dominant role. If you can't stomach starting both, pick one (probably Swift) to pair with Traveyon (could finally be the breakout game for him, but I've given up on that - at this point he'll need to show me something before I'd consider starting him).
-
I'd lean towards Rodgers. The Chargers D has good stats against QBs, but I think they are boosted by games against Ward, a gimpy Wentz, Geno, and Dart in his first start.
-
Crazy or a no-brainer to start Dart @ Bears over Baker coming off his bye at home against the Patriots?
-
Well, Tucker has shown that he has a ceiling that Kamara lacks this season and weird things can happen during Thursday night divisional games. With Kamara, you are kind of betting that he has just been going through a rough patch rather than having the wheels come completely off. I think I'd lean towards Tucker, but wouldn't surprise me if both put up duds.

WEEK 9 Observations…Whatcha seeing out there? 👀

A new alpha in Denver? Not sure why Franklin has 7 targets while Sutton has only 3. -
Rookie QB in first start at Rams? I'd lean towards Loveland (even with Kmet back). Didn't the Steelers have have 3 different TEs score 4 total TDs against the Bengals?
-
Steelers pull off the upset and beat the Colts.
-
I'm not convinced that Zona isn't a full RBBC, so Knight isn't a slam dunk for me. However, I'd bench London if there is any indication that he isn't a full go.
-
I’ve got to start 4 and bench one of the following: T.Spears v.LAC (got a gut feeling this could be a good game for him) R.Stevenson v.ATL (easy call if he ends up sitting) C.Sutton @HOU (tough D, will Den be able to get the ball to him?) J.Ferguson v.ARI (at home on Mon night should be a get-right spot after goose egg last week) S.LaPorta v.MIN (too many other DET weapons, but the Vikings are bottom third against TE)
