No doubt - it's actually tempting to target them next week with the likes of Rhamondre.

TNF Discussion: Commanders at Packers - Week 2
Showboat replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
FU to me for not trusting my initial instincts and sending McLaurin to the bench. -
For a player that always seems to be an after-thought in the WAS game plans, going to GB on a short week after the holdout and week 1 garbage production scares me. I’d have to go with either: LaPorta v. CHI Tillman @ BAL (expect the Ravens to stomp on the Browns after the SNF debacle) Stevenson @ MIA (ugh)
-
In my head I know that sticking with McLaurin is the percentage play and I'll be kicking myself if he puts up another 2-27-0 while LaPorta goes for 5-50-1, but I'd be kicking myself more if McLaurin goes off for 6-102-2. Thx.

At some point, the drops affect the QB confidence and he starts sending those targets elsewhere (and not sure Jeudy has as long of a leash as, say, C.Lamb).
-
That would be bold. I'm leery of McLaurin on a short week, but Daniels will likely have opportunities to do damage with his legs - think I'd stick with Daniels.
-
There is not really much to say and you seem to have made up your mind. It's kind of a coin-flip to me though I would lean towards Nix. If there is one thing the Giants can do well, it is get after the passer and they handled Daniels reasonably.
-
As mentioned, cannot really make a trade evaluation without context, but I'll play assuming you are just looking for total point projections for the two players. It's close because Irving has the most historical TD production. Still, I'd go with Nabers/McBride as I think they both have higher potential ceilings, especially in PPR.
-
Not sure if Charbonnet is a stash - he may have already taken over the lead role in Seattle.
-
It would be good to get Hollywood (for at least the next few weeks). Judkins is a lotto ticket, but may have more potential upside than any others listed. I'd keep Reed.
-
Not sure why Washington signed the extension. Most teams at least try to feature a player after a big extension like that (even when the holdout ends the day before gameday). Is McLaurin just going to be an expensive decoy?
-
Is McCarthy finally the QB that saps all value from JJ?
-
FU to CBS for eliminating the ticker (they used to at least have that going for them over FOX)..
-
FU Russ for for making Nabers worthless as feared.
-
Dimes could falter and ARich could finally get it. Milroe is worth a flier, but probably a year away. Cousins could get traded.
-
I'm hoping he ends up being this year's Puka Nacua (the day 3 pick that turns into a star).
-
The above answers are probably correct, but you could do worse than targeting Croskey-Merritt as a late round flyer.
-
Any McLaurin news? Last I saw he was taken off PUP about a week ago. Is he practicing or still holding in? No extension might actually be good for his stats as he will be playing for his next contract in Washington or elsewhere (contract years are often spike years assuming he doesn't skip any real games).

That time of year again: Camp injury news (Jaydon Blue)
Showboat replied to Vikings4ever's topic in FFToday Board
Hard to tell if this is homerism or inside info. It is true that a concussion is the only thing that stopped him last year (and it took him a while to get back from that). If the Giants/Nabers were smart, he'd be wearing the guardian cap during games. -
Maybe worth while to keep an eye on for the waiver wire. I'd rather take a late-round flyer on one of day-3 picks who might actually start (Thornton with the Raiders or Horton with the Seahawks).
-
I think that Carroll is a good coach and good coaches figure out how to use talented players. Arguably, Jimmy Graham was past his prime when he went to the Seahawks (and he was certainly not even close to being the best player on those Seahawk teams). Bowers is possibly the best offensive player on the Raiders (and certainly their best receiver). While guaranteeing a #1 TE finish is a fools errand, Bowers is certainly in the top tier of TEs. I would not be worried.

At this point, seeing Nabers taken in the bottom half of round one seems a bit high but there is certainly value to be had if he drops. The tricky part is figuring out exactly when to pull the trigger on him. The toe stuff goes back to college and it didn't seem to affect him much last year - it all may just be the Giants being overly cautious and creating an excuse for reducing exposure to another potential concussion. It may also be a ploy like Tom Brady's elbow issue he had for 15 years. -
I would have swung for the fences with CMC and Henry at the turn.
-
Sometimes you shouldn't blindly follow your personal projections either. While CMC certainly has a reasonable shot at being the #1RB, the age and durability risk is what has driven his ADP down to the bottom half of the first round. Why take on that risk at #2? Trade down if that's allowed, otherwise taking him at #2 just allows someone else to get better value in the bottom half of round 1.
