They gave up on Pickett sooner. LOL I don't know if they're giving him up or not, but I think the fact that they're trading for someone who's similar to him in the first place tells us that already.
-
Calf injury was the excuse they used to keep him out of Week 18 last year. It's the only time he's "ever had one". I'm not concerned.
-
I would think the Steelers would make him a part of the package, because they're essentially the same type of player.
-
Coaches excuse to limit McCaffrey without catching flack from the media/fans.

There ya go.

I don't know... I kind of think the opposite, in regards to his potential in Cleveland. Now, I say that based on the speculation being accurate. Word was that a deal with the Browns will likely include Cooper going to San Fran. If we look at what Cooper did last year, I think there's a chance he could be better in Cleveland than San Fran. Last year in 15 games, Cooper had 128 targets and finished as WR20 (ppr format). In the 8 games where he had Watson and Flacco (playing the whole game), he scored: 6.7, 16, 24.6, 14.9, & 24.9 (Watson), and 12.7, 20.9, & 51.5 (Flacco). That's 21.5 points per game. Even if you throw out the high and the low extremes, that's still 19 fpg. Last year, both Cooper and Aiyuk had 6 games where they failed to at least 12 points. For Cooper, 5 of those came without Watson and Flacco. Cooper caught only 56.3% of his passes, overall. In games with Watson and Flacco, he caught 65.8%. I think that if Watson can stay healthy (and Cooper goes to San Fran), Aiyuk has a chance to be a top 10 WR. I think his chances of that are better in Cleveland than with the 49ers.

Just my take, I don't care what any Depth Chart says... I know that Clyde Edwards-Helaire stinks. If I want to take a Pacheco handcuff, I'll take Prince.
-
Heard on the Fantasy Sports channel (Sirius/XM), that the Steelers were one of the first teams that the 9ers gave permission to, to talk to Aiyuk's agent about a new deal and they said "no thanks". I'm thinking that's what New England did too. The word is that Aiyuk was looking for Justin Jefferson money... and I don't think many teams think he's worth that.

LOL, yeah, THIS is THE example.

Really? Why? With every election, the Democrats move further and further left. -

She wants nothing to do with calling the shots before the election. -
I'd believe that. I think we all know that Biden's presidency was a complete joke. Well, half the country any way.
-
The 2024 Election just proves how gullible the Democrat constituency is. We've all know for years, that Biden wasn't mentally fit. The constituency though, all bought the crap the media and DNC were shoveling. They've been hammering for years, that Trump was anti-democracy. Then, boom, all of a sudden when the DNC realized Biden couldn't win, them and their biggest supporters were pretending that all of a sudden, Joe wasn't mentally fit. The constituency just kowtowed. The DNC then, does what they said Trump was all about (see anti-democracy), and arbitrarily chose the new candidate. No one voted for her? Heck, when she ran in the primaries, no one liked her then? Aside from Biden, there were 2 or 3 other people who got delegates... none named Harris. Yet, Harris is the candidate, and the constituency just kowtowed again, and they're all of a sudden told to believe that she is loved. No one even LIKED her 4 years ago. After proving to the world that she isn't likeable, the constituency is told they love her, so they do. For years, the Left has been promoting DEI... HARRIS HERSELF is even promoting DEI. Then when Republicans call her a DEI, the left is upset. Why? I thought in their view, DEI was a good thing? So, were they lying about DEI being a good thing? Looks that way. After the election though, win or lose, Democrats will still support DEI... they just don't want to be called it, at the highest level. Shhhh.... Don't worry DNC, your constituency will always kowtow.

I meant the overall #1 WR in fantasy, not on the Jets. Sorry for any confusion. I think there is a shot that could happen. If someone wants to draft him as a high-end WR1, mid or low, I think they're all legitimate outcomes. Me? It's the Jets. LOL Something's going to go wrong. I think how you're looking at him is reasonable.
-
Which should've made it easier for him. He was generally the 3rd WR when on the field. Not only was the opponent was concentrating their efforts on stopping the WR1 threat, they also were covering the WR2. MVS spend most of his routes with one-on-one coverage against their 2nd or 3rd corner with an over-the-top safety net or zone. With his speed, he should've been able to exploit those matchups. I never really watched many Green Bay or KC games exclusively, but my guess is that he was very limited in his route running abilities and both GB and KC just used him as a one-trick pony because that's all he is. Meaning, I think he was placed in his role because of the player he is, not the team just using him for one thing.
-
That's the key to Wilson. Is Rodgers healthy enough to keep that track record going. If he does, Wilson could be elite this year.
-
Yup, agreed. It's possible that they think that his speed to get down field could work better with Allen than Rodgers and Mahomes. I could buy that with Rodgers, he's almost a statue, but Mahomes is worse that Lamar Jackson with pocket time. Mahomes says hike and he's outside the pocket before his 3rd dropback step. He's always moving up, back, left, and right. He gives his guys forever to get downfield or where ever they need to be. It leads me to believe that you're correct.
-
In general, I'd agree with you, but we're talking about a guy who played with Aaron Rodgers and Pat Mahomes. Neither team kept him around for more than 3 years and on neither team was he a difference maker. He's a 30/500/3 guy on teams with elite QB's. He's a JAG. Allen isn't the passer that Rodgers and Mahomes are. He'll have less value and likely produce less, with a passer like Allen. Guys like MVS are a dime a dozen. No need to pay him $2M+ or even $4M+ when there's probably rookie contract guys who can give you that... either individually or collectively, where they do other things (i.e., punt/kick returns).

Yeah, right!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA -
Risk/reward. Assuming health, I believe Wilson is in a situation where he has a legit shot to be the WR1 at season's end. Last year, CeeDee Lamb as WR1 with 403 (ppr), points coming off a 135 catch 1750 yard, 12 TD season. I don't think that will be the standard for this season (400+ points), I believe 350 to 380 will be the range where WR1 falls. Wilson could have a chance to post a 120/1500/15 season, which equates to 360 points and falls in the range noted. Now, will others fall in that range? Oh, I'm sure that could happen... but that makes all of them having a legit shot at being the WR1 at seasons end. How many? But that's enough to justify a first round pick. The question everyone needs to ask themselves is, how confident are they in the situation. Will Rodgers be close to 100% at the start of the season? Will he stay healthy? Will the two click on day 1? If a person likes the answers to those questions, then yes, he's worthy of a first round pick. Personally, I think falls in between those numbers and last years. I'd put him at 90, 1200, and 8. Based on last years numbers, that puts him at WR13. I'd be happier with him as a WR2 or my WR1 if I had 2 good RB's... or McCaffrey. Someone's opinion.

Wait, not long ago you said that MAGA is violent and gave a list of like 50 incidents over 4 years as "proof". If 12.5 incidents a year are "proof" to make a collective judgement, then I think everyone (blacks, whites, Asians, Hispanics, democrats, and republicans), surpassed that requirement before January 7th this year. So what he's saying isn't wrong. -
We are officially in a recession - THANKS BIDEN!
