Every QB is a system QB. The reason they performed at that level to which they did, the system and the QB were a match. Sure, why not? I wouldn't, but that doesn't mean they wouldn't. Like I said, if the sentiment is that Dak is worth $60M, then Purdy has to be as well, since he's accomplished more. If a guy is good enough, while I still think it's unwise to pay someone that kind of money, it'll still work itself out. The only issues I have with QB salaries is when the QB is only so/so, and you pay him $30M when a draft pick or off-season pickup can be so/so and cost $10M.

Trump's NY Election Interference Trial - Trump is found guilty on all 34 counts

Let's say that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING has changed in the last 70+ years... but, Trump ran as a Democrat in 2016 (not Hillary), and beat a Republican. Then, in 2020, a Republican beat Trump. True or false.... There would have been a total of ZERO investigations and charges against Donald Trump. Honestly, you don't have to answer. I know the answer and so do you, so let's not pretend anything. -
Assuming Purdy's performance this year is relatively close to last year, he's in line for $60M AAV. A few years ago, when Dak was claiming (and others on his behalf), for $40M AAV, those numbers were around where Purdy is. Now, the sentiment is that Dak, still producing in the ballpark of those numbers, is that Dak is worth $60M. Purdy got his team to 2 NFC Championship games... 2 more than Dak (who had 8 cracks at it). If Purdy has a season where he's around 4200 to 4500 yards with 30 to 35+ TD's, he's getting $60M, not $40M.

You gotta love it when a segment of society wants to prosecute someone for the sole purpose that this person disagrees with them politically. I thought our country was supposed to be above that. Guess not. -
Depends on what you mean by "the grass isn't always greener". He's gotten better every year he's been in the league even while the QB position as been somewhat chaotic during that time frame. Every GM and coach has seen this. Even if the Niners trade him to a team with a terrible QB and no supporting cast, either that team is going to pay him top 5/10 WR money, get tagged, or go to another team the following year because they paid him top 5/10 WR money. Now, he may not win where he goes, but he'll get paid. To him, that may be "greener". Besides, this is the NFL, just because you won a couple years in a row, it doesn't mean that's going to last. Both McCaffrey and Kittle, neither who've been a beacon of health, have contracts ending after the 2025 season. Assuming Aiyuk plays this season out, he's going to go into next season needing a new deal, seeing that after the 2025 season, Deebo, McCaffrey, Kittle, and Purdy are all going to need new deals along with how many other players. They're all not going to be re-signed, some are going to have to go. Not saying the Niners will suck, but being in the middle of the pack isn't necessarily "green" either.

LOL, gtfoh. My use of the phrase "paper work" was to indicate that it was a simple matter. You're the one blaming states for doing something they didn't even do yet, because your leftist outlets said they were going to do it. So fock off with your bs trying to blame the Republicans for doing something your scumbag party did and having a holier than thou attitude about it.
-
Oh, they indicated that they will not give any exceptions? I didn't know that!! O.M.G.!!! Wow you're a moron. LOL As for my question: "So you think it's ok for people to ignore deadlines set by states in regards to their laws?" You're response is "Yes"?

That's the thing... they're not "doing it back", they're in fact, taking the high road. They're giving the Democrats a 4 month heads up that their date is past the states deadline. Democrats in CO ruled in court, that Trump was guilty of a crime he was never charged with and thus, required a Supreme Court ruling.

This was my thought as well. -
Thanks for the correction... I was making some quick assumptions.

Brazil shouldn't be that big of an issue for the players. I think their biggest gripe is with time zones. Sure, it's probably a 12 or 13 hour flight, but I believe Brazil is the same time zone as Green Bay, which is only 1 hour difference for Philly. These guys fly on premium private charted flights. They travel in comfort. This game is a much bigger issue for the fans.

If you're going to say that my post was a load of crap, you may want to consider posting something that isn't complete crap to rebut it. A good first step would've been to not ignore the fact that even before the Supreme Court decision, VA was already looking at abortion up to the time of birth.
-
No, the problem is that you give the left an inch, they don't want a mile, they want 50 miles. Yes, the vast majority of conservatives are like @HellToupee (and myself), but I will always vote against a democrat policy on abortion because once they get abortion, they'll push for then for "free", "100% government funded", then for "no time restriction". It's inevitable because the Democrat party relies on victims. Without victims, they have no party... so when there isn't one, they must create them (then blame the Republicans). So, they only way to stave that off is to vote against it, regardless of how extreme the right policies are. Like I said earlier, the solution to abortion is to call it elective surgery and regulate the limit like we do with cigarettes and alcohol. Yes, you can kill your kid, but by week 24 (example), and you need to pay for it. Problem solved, problem over. Neither side will agree to that because they both require a need for it to be a political football.

Looks that way. Also, I don't think that article is saying Ohtani is exonerated. It just says that the interpreter is being charged and likely taking a plea deal. -

I think you got me confused with someone else. My posts... here, here, and here, are all me saying I think he's innocent. -
Yes, you're the idiot.

I would never hold such hope.

I'm hoping that everyone thinks it's going to hit somewhere near Antarctica and then at the last possible second, it changes course and hits Washington DC when all 537 federally elected officials are there. That's the only re-start we need.
-
If they go past the deadline, they'll do the same thing they did with Trump. I commend the states for holding to their laws and telling the holier than thou pissants accountable. The states should make the candidates or caucus to cover the costs of the legislative motions needed.

You beat me to it. I read his stupid post and commented and didn't see yours until afterwards.
