Kansas City mayor accuses governor of racial 'dog whistle' for calling Super Bowl parade shooters 'thugs'
TBayXXXVII replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
The population statistic is very easy to find out. Here's a link that backs that portion up. As far as the crime statistics, there's a link at the bottom of that graphic that tells you that the source is from the state of Minnesota. Here is the pdf. https://dps.mn.gov/divisions/bca/bca-divisions/mnjis/documents/2022-Minnesota-uniform-crime-report.pdf Now, I'm not sure how they came to their conclusions on the percentages, because I got 62%, not 72%, but still... that's very disproportionate. If you look through that pdf, you'll find that in all of the crime areas where they depict race, black people are more than 50% of all crime committed in the state, despite being only 6.5% of the population. Of course, I expect you to call me racist for pointing that out, but those are the stats. -
Kirk Cameron announces 'innovative' new TV series, says America's parents are 'sickened' by woke Hollywood
TBayXXXVII replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
I know why he did it... I'm just saying that him saying why was foolish. He's limiting the networks ability to get known talent and drive interest. He's also basically pigeonholing the talent he gets to either only work on shows on his network or trash the network in order to get other work in the industry. -

I don't see it as a revolution, just not playing their stupid games. -

Cameron was foolish with this statement. He should've just kept quiet on the initiative and let things play out. Now that he says his network will be anti-woke, he'll have a very hard time getting actors and actresses. Anyone who does work on Cameron's network will be black balled from anything in Hollywood. -

Powerball Jackpot rises over $300 million
TBayXXXVII replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
Ideally it would be a joke, but let's be honest, the left hates Trump to point where they're creating ways to make him the bad guy. A state literally found him guilty of a crime he was never charged with. LOL -
If Bourbon was the "go big", I'd chose "go home".

Insane person talks about the changing weather hurting black people.

Wow, the Left really has an endless supply of ways to call black people stupid and con the public into thinking that it's actually ways to make them victims. -
Minnesota city votes to disband police force as latest town to face staffing, budgeting shortfalls
TBayXXXVII replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
This isn't a "Woke" / "Leftist" issue. Things like this have happened for decades. The costs for police departments are expensive and sometimes not worth it for small towns. If disbanding of a small police department and patrolling/public safety is being covered by a neighboring town, then there's nothing wrong with that. The population of the town is 2500. There's no real need for a town that size to have their own full-time police department. My guess is that crime is almost nil in that town. -

True or false: Liberals will want to put restrictions on who can buy lottery tickets if Trump buys a Powerball ticket and wins. -
The Biden DOJ just sued Tennessee for making it a crime to knowingly transmit AIDS and HIV.

Lawsuit by the Fed is stupid. Disability rights? GTFOH. I'm ok with the law for people who knew they had it. If I'm wrong, I believe a person who is raped is allowed to subpoena the medical records of the alleged rapist. I don't see why that can't apply here. If a person tests positive for HIV or AIDS and they know who gave it to them, I don't see why that person can't subpoena the accused's medical records. If that shows a positive test, prescriptions for medication and corroboration from the pharmacy that said person picked them up, I don't know why that can't be used as proof that the person knew they had HIV or AIDS. -
Tucker's a liberal? Since when? Oh wait, you're pretending that Democrats AREN'T moving towards communism. Sorry.

Here's why you're wrong, and uncapable of understanding why. The overwhelmingly vast majority of open/carry gun owners, have a complete and total understanding of gun safety and use. I don't know the laws in that town/state pertaining to open/carry, but I'm willing to bet that there were people there with guns. You like to point out that the person was subdued by people who didn't have guns (even though you don't know if they did or not), but you're not willing to realize that while there were people there with guns, no one used them. That's because, again, those people have respect for guns and what can come from their use. They wouldn't just willy nilly open fire just to kill one or two people. To you, the existence of the gun initially is the problem, not the people. That's why you can't comprehend common sense and logic. -
