I never said she was intelligent.

She's one of the people that I have on my "I don't get the appeal", list, just like Timberlake. That said, good for her. Have at it. I hope she can keep doing it. She's doing what she loves and is making bank.

Spotrac.com estimated that Sweat was worth $25.5M AAV, he got $24.5M, so I don't think he was overpaid. Now, I'm not saying that PFF is the be-all-end-all of rankings and grading, but heading into the season, they rated him as the 8th best edge rusher last year. I'm inclined to think they didn't overpay him.

Oh, I don't have a problem with Sweat taking the money, I just gave him too much credit for taking if from a team that's not going to win many games the first half of his contract. I figured he'd have had enough with losing in Washington, that's all. I wouldn't be shocked if 15 months from now, he's asking for a trade. Boggled my mind that the Giants gave Jones all that money. I mean, only a 5 year old would've thought that was a good idea. Tampa and the Giants have the same QB... Tampa is paying $2M for 1 year while the Giants are paying $92M (guaranteed money). How stupid!! I should give the Giants owner my resume. On it would be 1 sentence: "I am not dumb enough to guarantee Daniel Jones $92M". I'd instantly be more qualified than their current GM.
-
It's ok though, because he's on their side.
-
I have to stop giving certain people too much credit. I thought the Giants were too smart to give a below average QB $40M... I was wrong. I thought Sweat was too smart to sign a deal with a bad team heading in the wrong direction, again, I was wrong. No pattern, as one time it was the team I believed in and the other it was the player. I think the right move nowadays is to ask myself, "What is the dumbest possible outcome?", and that's what's most likely to happen.

...and TD's. I think it was by 3? 17 and 14 I think I remember hearing.

LOL, it's in the reports dude. You should just act like the rest of your piece of trash cohorts, chalk it up as a loss, and pretend it doesn't exist.

I literally posted a link to a report that said that 13 Million students reported being sexually assaulted, harassed, and abused during their time in school. The report was from 2005. Here's what I believe happened. The kids, like most victims (I believe the MeToo movement pointed this out, ad nauseum), they didn't report it at the time, and didn't do so until after the fact. I also believe, yes, the school brushed it under the carpet, backed their teachers, etc, etc... you know, like all you libtards say that happen with the police. Here's another link, jackazz... https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/protecting-children-from-sexual-abuse/202305/educator-sexual-misconduct-remains-prevalent-in Small excerpt: "Of the 6632 participants, 11.7 percent reported having experienced at least one form of educator sexual misconduct during grades K-12." 11.7% of 6632 = 776 students. Let's extrapolate that for a second. Let's assume that HALF are lying (trying to help you out)... and another quarter are exaggerating (again, trying to help you out), and we'll go with only 3% is real. There are approximately 50M children enrolled in public schools in the US. What's 3% of 50M? It's about 1.25 MILLION. Clearly, that's a problem. Don't you think? Dude, just google "teachers sexual abuse statistics". You'll find a lot of links. Here's another one ("Sexual Abuse by Teachers is on the rise")... 8th (13 year olds), through 11th (17 year olds). Excerpt: Of children in 8th through 11th grade, about 3.5 million students (nearly 7%) surveyed reported having had physical sexual contact from an adult (most often a teacher or coach). The type of physical contact ranged from unwanted touching of their body, all the way up to sexual intercourse. This statistic increases to about 4.5 million children (10%) when it takes other types of sexual misconduct into consideration, such as being shown pornography or being subjected to sexually explicit language or exhibitionism.

Wait, you think all of the victims were 16+? These were kids from ALL ages and ALL grades.

The safest and most secure election in the history of American politics

LOL, from the article... the so-called "full forensic audit". They didn't "investigate" anything, they reviewed the results. -
...and in Hawaii. A friend of mine went to Hawaii on vacation for a couple weeks (a number of years ago), and he said it was awesome. They got up at 8 in the morning to turn on football, and it was over before dinner. I think most people, as they get older, just wake up on Sunday the same they would during the week, just may be a little slower or lazier. I get up at 6:30 am for work every day, and on the weekends, I'm always up by 7/7:30. I just lay in bed for a bit, so games starting at 8 am (or later), isn't really an inconvenience.
-
I voted "No", because the games starts here at 9:30 am, not 7:30 am.

Would it shock you if I told you his opponent was black (Jamaican)? -

Are you saying there were official investigations of the fraud claims in 2020? -

More evidence that fraud can be discovered when there's an "investigation". -

Thanks for proving that if "investigations" are made, wrong doing can be found. -
QB Changes: Aidan O'Connell LV, Taylor Heinicke ATL Are In
TBayXXXVII replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
I'm in a 2QB keeper league. Herbert was one of my keepers. I traded my first round pick in the draft, but took Young and Stroud with back to back picks... hoping one would be serviceable. -
W/L record. Very telling. Started off slow last year, then picked it up the end. Then, regressed to last years start with NO SIGNS of improving. This team is going to finish with a top 5 pick (not just because of Carolina - that might get them 2). They have no solution at QB, the WR's are weak, the RB's are "meh". Simply, they have no direction on offense. They're a mess. Let's give them an elite defense. An elite defense and dumpster fire offense gives you a "meh" team. That's a team trending in the wrong direction. This statement makes no sense: "They were the worst team in football last year and have improved greatly". Last year they finished 3-14... this year, they're pace to finish 4-13. I don't consider that "greatly improved".
-
It's not "now", I said that very early on... it was my third post. I rather implied it in my second post. Someone who's going to be a free agent isn't going to sign a long term deal with a team trending in the wrong direction... unless they're an idiot. Now, at seasons end, if there's a trend of changes being made to head in the right direction, that's a different story. The thing is, this trade happened mid-season, not during the offseason.
-
I don't know who pulled the trigger(s). I don't know if there was more the one shooter. There's a lot that I don't "know"... but no one will ever convince me that LBJ was not behind it.

I thought I heard on NFL Radio that they're expecting Murray to be back next week, if not this week. Either way, I don't think Murray is any good either and it doesn't really matter which of the two play.
-
They might have one, but I'm thinking one of two things happened if that's the case.... 1) They're going to over pay him or 2) Sweat is an idiot (like I said in earlier posts to Seafoam, I'm giving Sweat the benefit of the doubt that he's not an idiot and is willing to take market value (or less), to sign a long-term deal with a team going in the wrong direction). Of course, if he does sign for market value (or less), I could see the potential for this being another Allen Haynesworth situation. Dude got paid and said "thanks", and never really tried after that. Here's what I think actually happened. I think the Bears had no contact with Sweat or his agent. I think they traded for him with the intent to re-sign him and/or tag him, if they can't get a deal done. Even if they can't get a deal done, they'd at worst be able to trade him elsewhere and get their 2nd round pick back. Why do I think that? I can answer that with a question. When was the last time you saw them do something really smart? Yeah, me either.

Rex was definitely like his dad in many ways. The Eagles were very much like that during Buddy's hay day.

You clearly follow the Jets more than I do, LOL. I don't know enough about Saleh to say that Rex Ryan is better than him.
