Timmy’s thread for serious discussion and debate

The irony of this is astounding.
  2. I don't see anyone breaking 111 consecutive wins any time soon.

    Revisting Baldwin shooting that lady

Liberals are only ok with legal gun owners being responsible for the use of guns, not anyone else. I think this thread proves at least that much.

Dont let dems fool you. Violent crime is up 75%

I don't know why you guys are bothering to respond to Gutterboy and Rusty, it's a fools errand.
  5. Breanna Stewart... no one player has more wins, more regular season conf. champs, conf champs rings, Final Fours, MOP in FF, Championships, Naismith awards, than she does, and she was the leader of the team that has the 111 game win streak (most ever... which got a few weeks worth of recognition). Most people never heard of her. Kelsey Plum, who had the scoring record prior to Clark, needed 4 seasons in the WNBA to finally hit double digits in ppg. Breanna Stewart has averaged at least 18.3 ppg her whole career. Stewart has played in the WNBA for 7 years and won the MVP award twice and finished in the top 3 each of the last 5 seasons. She's 2nd in WNBA history in ppg (20.82... leader is Cynthia Cooper at 20.98), and 5th all-time in rebounds per game (8.74), and has won the WNBA Championship twice. In college, Breanna Stewart shot 58% from the field, Clark is at 46.5%. Clark shoots 38% from 3, Stewart shot 35%. It's harder in the WNBA, obviously, than in college. Stewart, again - the #2 all-time scorer in ppg in the WNBA, is now shooting at 47% from the field. Unlike Breanna Stewart (12.5 fpa per game), Clark is a gunner (19.9, much like Kelsey Plum 18.5). She won't get those chances or looks in the WNBA. Simply put, Breanna Stewart is the greatest female basketball player of all-time, and she couldn't get people to watch the WNBA. Clark may get the league a bump, like Plum did, but it won't last. If Stewart couldn't, Clark certainly won't.

    2024 Free Agency Tracker

It still won't be worse than Daniel Jones or DeShaun Watson.
  7. They are better than the men... I was just taking exception with your wording. They used to be "much better". I don't think that anymore. With every passing year, the women's college game is growing, and even though they're still irrelevant in the grand scheme of things, the WNBA (and to a lesser extent, the NBA), is having an impact on the college game. The girls are becoming more and more a "me" game than the "we" game it used to be. They still are more fundamentally sound than the men, but the gap has closed to a point where I can't say they're "much better".
  8. She's straight, white, Christian, and has a boyfriend. Will be interesting to see how she's treated in the mostly black/LGBTQ lockerroom.
  9. They used to be "much better". They're getting worse.
  10. LOL, you're an idiot!! That's right, SCOTUS didn't give an opinion on Trump's culpability... it's because he was never charged or tried. I can't believe the length you'll go to ignore what Colorado did. The next time you want to play the victim and tell people not to paint a broad brush about Democrats? Just come back to this post and realize that you were ok with the government convicting a citizen for a crime that he was never charged with... LOL, and even defended it!!!
  11. So your claim is that communism is only economical... and since what the Colorado Supreme Court did was governmental, it wasn't communism? I'll concede to your point if you can correct me on what form of government tries and convicts a citizen of a crime that they were never charged with. I mean, I think we all can agree that it's not a Democratic Republic/Free society. Let me know which one it is.

    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

It's his administration. Like I said, he's the figurehead, not the leader. The true leaders are a conglomerate of leftist activists using Biden as the mouth piece. Normal people want to know who they are... cultists don't care because it's all about the message.

If only the general contractor wasn't forced to use union labor..........

    Timmy’s thread for general discussion

Because the country would be moving a great direction and that hurts him from getting cheap labor from illegal immigrants. He could be forced to pay real wages to American's, thus causing him financial hardship in a liberal state that he loves... even though he's trying to circumvent the system that he loves.

    Good job Braylon.

    Timmy’s thread for general discussion

Imagine how much better it would have been if the Racist in Chief didn't put millions of black men in prison for smoking weed back in the 90's. Then imagine how people on that side of the aisle are blaming the other party for being racist.

    Trump's Cognitive Decline and Health

Tell me you're head is in the sand without telling me you're head is in the sand. LOL Biden isn't the "Leader", he's the figurehead. Biden is a puppet, he's not running anything. I think it's really telling how incompetent the left is when they don't even realize they're being deceived by their own party and then brag about how that figurehead won.
  18. Go look at the Colorado State Supreme Court. That's an example of communism. I mean, all you need to do is look in the political mirror. It's not that hard. Yes, there are a lot of ignorant people posting here, I'm responding to one of them.
  19. It's because they're so busy calling the Republican's fascists that they don't realize that the party they support are being exactly that.
  20. I don't see that happening. I have a hard time believing that the non-R/D candidates could combine for any more than 8 to 10% in any state, especially in blue states.
  21. Actually, that's a million times worse. One is a bunch of people (morons they may be), making a flailing attempt at change is way better than the government acting on it's citizens in an unlawful manner. They State of Colorado literally convicted a citizen of a crime that he was never charged with or tried for. That my friend, is an example of Communism.
  22. Yeah, I think most people when they hear this argument, don't think from that point of view. They look at it as women are being criticized for having smaller hands. From a ratio perspective, the women's ball should be even smaller than what it is now.
  23. I've heard this argument before, and I think it has merit. Not sure his reasoning, but of the one's I've heard... their point was not that it was easier for the ladies to shoot the ball, but because the rim is the same size as the men's game, there's more margin of error for the ladies when they shoot. That's a fair argument in my opinion.
  24. I agree with a lot where she shouldn't be compared to Maravich... but this argument doesn't work for me. When Maravich played in the 60's, the men's game wasn't at a stage much different than the current stage of women's baseball, some could argue that the Women's game today is better than the 60's era Men's game. Thanks to the UConn 90's era (which a lot of people said was bad for women's college basketball), the women's game is leaps and bounds ahead of where it was 30 years ago. In 1967 there were only 24 teams in the NCAA Tournament. Maravich's LSU teams, never played in an NCAA Tournament game while he was there.
