Of course black people are better off today than they were during segregation is CERTAIN areas... but they were better off during segregation than they were until the 80's, which was the point. Democrats used welfare as a stepping stop to taking over the black vote. Black folks were struggling until Reagan came along. By the mid-80's, the lives of black folks was getting better. Well, until the Crime Bill, when MILLIONS of black men were put in prison because they had 1 joint. Good job Biden! Yeah, it got 94 votes in the final Senate. Gotta love your denial. The FACTS are that it passed in the House with 188 Democrat votes (64 Nays), and 46 Republican votes (131 Nays). To get passed in the Senate, Biden needed 6 Republican's to end a filibuster and got 7. After that, the Bill was as good as passed as their were 54 Democrats in the Senate. Why vote no? Back then, when the majority had everything they needed to pass a bill, the other side pretty much went with it. LOL, in trying to deny culpability, you proved my point. That's right, the overall makeup of the police force hasn't changed in decades... MEANING, that the Democrats push to get more blacks and women on the police force by lowering their standards, DIDN'T WORK. It actually made it worse because, like I said, all it did lead to "an increase in stupid white people." Oh, so you're saying that the murder rates in rural area's increased? Interesting. You're saying that they're mostly white people? Imagine that. Well, I guess that one could only arrive at the conclusion that "System Racism" is bull sh!t then? Democrats have been lying for decades on that front? None of my assertions were wrong, you were ignoring the points and passed the buck. Keep voting blue racist! Honest answer? I think crime is committed by lazy people of all races. Yes, I think poverty levels contribute to it... but I think the two go hand-in-hand... lazy=poverty. Are there exceptions? Absolutely, but if I had to put a finger on it, I'd say that the vast majority, like 90%+... lazy = poverty = crime. Again, "people", meaning the individual person. I don't think, I know, that liberal policies have a greater impact on poverty than conservative policies. I don't think, I know, that those policies have a higher impact on black people. So, if there are ANY claims of "systemic racism", they fall at the feet of the Democrats. I'll give you a few examples (again, as I've posted them on these boards before, and I don't even have to go as far back as fighting to keep slaves, the KKK, or the promotion of abortion to the black community to keep their population numbers down): The Civil Rights Act - The "Act" itself isn't the issue, it was the Democrats political platform afterwards. Prior to the end of segregation, Black folks had very low rates of unemployment, divorce, & poverty. They had rates of high school diploma's and college graduates on par with whites. So, what happened? Welfare. The Civil Rights Act was the starting point for Democrats to tall black folks that they were victims of the evil white Republican and that welfare was the way to go. That's what got black folks voting blue instead of Red. The Democrats told them that welfare would give them money from the government. To this day, the percentage of black people dominate the government assistance pool, they have the highest rate of unemployment, they have the lowest high school and college graduation rates, and the highest rate of poverty. It's NOT a coincidence. The Crime Bill - Joe Biden's (a co-author), Crime Bill all but destroyed the black community. That bill put more black men in prison than any other piece of legislation in the history of the United States. This country never had a piece of legislation so racist since slavery. Biden's administration will tell you that the Bill wasn't the problem, that it was the states abuse of the funding. Let's pretend that's true, even though common sense says it's not, which states were the biggest abusers? It's not a coincidence that the blue states had the biggest drops in crime rate just a couple years after the Crime Bill was instituted. It's because the "criminals" were already in prison and couldn't commit more crime. When I say "criminals", I'm referring to black people because they were disproportionally represented in prison, thanks to the Crime Bill legislation. Wiffleball tried to throw cops under the bus last week with his b.s. post about bad cops. Truth of the matter is, it's the fault of Democrats. As I put in response to his post, Democrats fought to lower the standards that people needed to become cops, because women and minorities (mainly black folks), could meet the necessary requirements. So, what happens? No, not an increase in women and blacks, but an increase in stupid white people. Today, all of the biggest crime rate increases are happen in liberal cities/states because of their lack of prosecution of crimes. Yes, most of them are black or minorities. That's not an indictment on race, it's an indictment on Democrat policies. Simply, they don't work. It goes back to my very first statement... "lazy = poverty = crime". These are repeat offenders... it's not more black people deciding to commit crime. On top of that, the people these policies hurt the most, is the poor and black people. No one is going to argue with you when you want to say prosecute the few bad apples. The pushback comes when you say "Defund the Police", "All Cops are Bad", "'Pigs in a Blanket, Fry 'Em Like Bacon". It's divisive propaganda pushed by Democrats to keep black people hating white people... specifically Republican's. So, when you want to have "common ground", first you have to acknowledge that your party is the biggest racist organization in the country... and people need to stop voting for them. Until then, stfu because you are the problem.

The funny part is that @wiffleball doesn't understand WHY it's happening. Like other good little liberals, they don't realize that it was their masters who fought to lower the requirements to be a police officer in order for minorities and women to be able to meet the requirements that prospective cops need to reach. In the end, it lead to more idiots (of all races and both genders), being hired.

Once Trump is out of the race, this story goes away because everyone knows the only reason this is an issue is because the Democrats don't want him in office again, and they know he can beat Biden. Like I said earlier, it's all political theater. The funniest part of all of this is, if Trump wins in 2024, once he's out in 2028, the Democrats are so childish that they will look to pick this up again when he leaves with more documents!! They'll press this until he dies.

I believe in doing what's right. I agree that you have to start somewhere... and it should start at the beginning. Here's what we know... if they start with Trump, it'll end there, so what you've accomplished was setting the foundation of "It's good for me, but not thee". Everyone knows that the Democrat party is the party of White Nationalism... they fought for slavery, started the KKK, and started Planned Parenthood and abortions to promote the reduction of black births. They still do it today, but under the guise of "Morality".

Here's what I understand... you're clueless and have your head in the sand on this.

Personally, I don't care what kids do or how they act... much like the goth/emo's of the 80's & 90's, have at it. What I don't like is the government, medical field, and schools are the promotion and overwhelming support and acceptance/acquiescence of it. Back in the 80's and 90's, the schools just said... "Ok, that's weird, but whatever". That's what should happen today. These kids shouldn't be a "protected class", they shouldn't be used as medical guinea pigs, and that lifestyle shouldn't be promoted by the schools, medical industry, or the government. I don't know the percentages either, but I know that CHOP (Children's Hospital of Philadelphia), is all for it. There have also been a few hospitals who've come out and said something to the effect of "We won't do it anymore". So, at least 1 Children's Hospital is willing to go forth with it and a few that did it and are stopping. I also don't like the idea of the government instituting bills that require parents to address these situations in the way the government feels they should, or risk losing their children. In the vast majority of cases, like 99%, it's kids basically saying "look at me". If only 1% of them take it too far, that's still a lot of kids. The left love to show that the percentage of gay/lesbian/non-binary/trans population is massively increasing with their "acceptance" (it's not acceptance, it's promotion to generate a voter base), with the Millennial and Gen-Z population. With the number of kids that are identifying as that increasing, that 1% is a large number, like in the tens of thousands. According to Pew Research (as of last June), approximately 5% of the 30 and under population in this country identify as Trans. As of July 1, 2021, that accounts to approximately 6M people. For arguments sake, lets say that only half are under the age of 18, so we're looking at 3M. As I stated, if only 1% of them go to the extent of the medical route, we're talking about 30k kids. Even if it's only a quarter of 1%, that's still around 8k. The official stance that the country should be taking, when a kid says "I'm trans", should be "Uh, ok. Go play outside."
