If you think McMillan is going to be good, I'd go with him first mainly because less exposure to injury and a more assurance of role/opportunity. He's a safer pick. I also think the situation in Carolina is safer. They have a better HC, better (younger) QB, and better run game. Also less competition for touches. Hunter has to compete with Thomas who's shown is a baller and isn't going anywhere, any time soon. In Carolina, Theilen is a good compliment (and old), and Legget is "a guy". Neither are going to command targets like McMillan.

That's your fault for watching. I haven't watched ESPN in like 10 years, maybe more.

No clue about defense, but baring injury, I don't see how it can be anyone other than Jeanty. Outside of Ward and Dart, I don't think any other QB is going to start enough games to warrant consideration. I think Tennessee and the Giants are just way to bad overall as teams (they'll win like 6 games each), for them to put up numbers and hype to get into the conversation. There are other RB's in situations where they will or can take over the starting relatively early. I think Hampton, Harvey, & Johnson have the fastest, easiest, and clearest paths to RB1 (roster), touches. I don't think any of them will put up the numbers that Jeanty probably will. McMillan has a great opportunity to put up big numbers in Carolina and could challenge Jeanty. I'd like Hunter more if his QB didn't suck and Thomas wasn't there. I think Egbuka will beat out Jalen McMillan for the #3 role in Tampa... IF (big IF), Godwin isn't ready for W1 and misses some time and is then metered, Egbuka could have a very good season. Still, his volume still won't be match what T. McMillan and Hunter will have. Too many mouths to feed in Chicago for Loveland and the Colts probably have the worst QB in the league, so I don't envision a strong season from Warren. Not sure any other TE will have a big enough impact to be in the conversation. I'd rank the favorites as.... Jeanty McMillan Hampton Hunter Anyone else would have to put up a totally unsuspecting season and a couple of the top 4 would have to either get hurt or be a shocking disappointment.

This is new? He said Peyton Manning wasn't as good of a prospect that Trent Dilfer was, like 30 years ago.
-
My rule of thumb.... "If ESPN said it, it's worth ignoring".
-
Possible next year, yeah. Godwin could get traded, but it's not happening this year because they literally just gave him a new deal about a month and a half ago.

As per Doug's comments, I agree with Doug on virtually everything he's said about the Bucs WR situation and Egbuka being a WR5... but I wouldn't wait that long (WR5 territory), to draft him. As Doug notes, Evans is 32 and Godwin is coming off an injury, but it's a little more than just that. The last 2 seasons, Evans has been under an 80% snap share. He's probahly good for at least 2 missed games. Godwin has been hurt in 5 of the last 6 seasons and finished the season on IR in 3. McMillan had an injury history in college while missing games in all but his final season, and then missed games last year. If Egbuka picks up the offense well enough, he could produce like a WR3 and have stretches/games/situations (multiple injured players), where he could be a WR2 or even WR1 in a given week. Come seasons end (playoff stretch/run), he could be the Bucs WR2 a fantasy starter.

2025 NFL Draft Profile - TE Colston Loveland
TBayXXXVII replied to Mike FF Today's topic in FFToday Board
My initial reaction is that I agree with your first sentence. As far as the RB's go, meh. I mean, they're not all that important in the grand scheme of things if you have a good OLine, WR's, and QB... the RB & TE positions work themselves out. But I don't understand the need for a R1 TE when just 12 months ago, you made your current TE one of the highest paid TE's in the NFL. On top of that, using a R2 pick on a WR when you just drafted a R1 WR last year and re-upped your other WR to a 4-yr deal. Neither pick makes sense to me. Yes, they added 2 DE's and a C in FA, but the rest of their acquisitions were JAGs. From early work, outlets seem to rank their OLine as league average, maybe the upper end of the "average" group. On a similar note, that's about where I've been seeing their defense. I'm not sure they used their 1st two picks wisely. But, who knows. -
It's just a giant coincidence and misunderstanding

If there was merit to what YOU think your prior post implied, there's a 0.0% chance Biden nor Harris doesn't reveal it prior to the campaign. -

Taylor was fine. He was my RB2 last year and averaged over 17 ppg. He was money in the playoffs, well, the last 2 weeks anyway. I had a bye, so I didn't care. I think there is worry of high risk/high reward though when Richardson in on the field. If he's starting again, I think I might drop Taylor a round, in my rankings.

It's better for Trump to get what he wants (if he truly wants the US to annex Canada), if a liberal wins the Canadian election. What person, who wins an election that will be a massive ideology shift for the country, say "Great we won... here, you take over"? No one. If Poilievre wins, this would give a 100% assurance that Canada will NOT be annexed by the US. If Carney wins, there's a better chance of provinces to want to secede from Canada and ask the US for annexation. A liberal winning helps the US more, on the front of annexation than a conservative. Trump can't lose from this election.... only Canadians (if they wish to stay as their own country, but vote for Carney).

Well, guess I'm not keeping Tyrone Tracy in my keeper league now.

Music is ok, I just don't find it as entertaining as many do. I'd rather listen to MLB and NFL Radio on Sirius/XM. At work, music is in the background, but because I'm interacting with people a lot, I don't even hear it much. When I'm in my office typing, I'm streaming MLB Radio this time of year. When I'm home, I never listen to music. At night, before bed, I usually watch YouTube, not TV because I find peoples' content to be more entertaining than network tv these days. Those people almost never have music on their videos. I can literally go weeks without ever listening to 1 song.

I am very impressed by how many stupid things you manage to say on a regular basis. -
Another Geno Smith situation? From a potential #1 overall pick to 3rd round?
-
I know of Sweet Home Alabama and like it. I looked in to see what the other song was.

I've said that regularly. I almost never listen to music. Wasn't that many years ago that I found out that The Who and Guess Who weren't the same band. Same for Queen and Queensryche (sp?).

Trump admin will seize wages, pensions, tax refunds to repay student loans: 'Debt cannot be wiped away'
TBayXXXVII replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
That's because the objective was never to help the people... it was to help the donors (lawyers/judges who donated to political campaigns/doing favors), make more money. To note, this wasn't a "Joe Biden" plan, it was a DNC plan that Joe just signed his name to... or autopen. -

Doesn't that prove him right? -
A caveat here is that Cliff was a junkie for useless information and tried apply it rationally (in Cliff's reality). Me, I don't follow college football. Outside of offensive players for fantasy purposes, I only know of Hunter and Carter on defense. I couldn't name 3 other defensive players.
-
My draft prediction is that the Bucs take a defensive player that I've never heard of.
