RFK Jr cancels $500 million for vaccine development

Great movie!

Probably because it's likely to do more harm than good. The me too movement for example. Women come out in droves, some blamed innocent people (Christine Ford for example), as a stunt, and your movement stalls. You end up with more more people not believing the accusations than you had before.

A friend of mine had something like this a few years back. His issue was time, not old age, as he was 37. You old man!! That said, what he did was contact a local Tech/Trade school and asked them if they had students who would like real-world experience and if the school would allow them and their teachers to go on site and do the work (for free), for educational purposes. He got together with the carpentry, architectural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscape teachers to go over everything to find out what groups were needed and what has to be done by which group, and how they needed to order their tasks for scheduling. A part of that was getting list of materials together that my friend would and have available for that group of kids the day they (and their teacher), showed up. In the end, everything got done that he needed and the only cost to him was the materials. He even got a bit of a discount because there were a couple of kids in those classes who's parents worked in the industry and some materials donated and some bought some materials at cost. Something like that might be a direction to go in.

Caleb Williams has a younger brother who went to Alabama?

It's been well over a decade, probably closer to 2, that I've actually watched college football. That being said, the last I remember of Big 12 schools is that their defenses always sucked. Is that not the case anymore? I wouldn't expect Oklahoma to be any kind of text for an opposing offensive player.

Streameast, world’s largest illegal sports streaming platform, shut down in sting...
TBayXXXVII replied to posty's topic in The Geek Club
The problem I had with it was the delay. I'm hanging out with family and friends either watching the games on local TV or RedZone, I couldn't be in the same room on my laptop streaming. I'd be watching the Bucs and they're driving, get across the 50 and have 1st and 10 on the opponent 45. RedZone pops on showing that the Bucs punted and it got downed inside the 5. Well, great, now I don't have to worry about watching 1st, 2nd, and 3rd down know. -
Very interesting draft. You made solid choices. I think your team will be a contender. Kelce might finish top 5, I'm just skeptical. The plus side is that he certainly has the opportunity and skillset. Yeah, I'd rather have Chuba and Njoku, but as always... we never know what we could have until it happens.

I would be surprised if many schools actually turn a profit from their athletic department.

That's like finding gold in a sewer. LOL In most superflex/2QB leagues, Lamar is going top 2 or 3. To get him in R2 @ 12 is great. I don't see anything wrong with Chase and Ladd in the 3rd and 4th. I may have chose 2 different guys, but 1) I don't know who was available, and 2) even if the two guys I'd rather have (J. Taylor/Henry & AJ Brown), it doesn't mean the results would be any better or worse. I think you did fine. I personally wouldn't have taken Kamara... would've went with Hubbard instead, but that might work out. To me, the only pick that seems to be bad, is Kelce. Personally, if I don't get Bowers, Kittle, or McBride, I'm waiting for guys like Engram, Njoku, and Warren. Taking Kelce in the 6th in a superflex is like taking him in the 4th and in a 1QB league. That's way too high. Everyone else is solid.

Jefferson at 9 and Lamar at 12? Who were people drafting?

Keep playing pick-up sticks. The left loves you for it.

When you use leftist propaganda news sources, your message is null.

That one is my favorite liberal talking point. So entertaining. "The other countries will trade with someone else... " Yeah, you mean the one with tariffs? LOL
-
I think it's certainly a part of it. The fact that you discount it, just shows your ignorance. The other part is about imports and exports on lumber and oil. I'm sure you remember the whole annexation of Canada right? I mean, you and your leftist brethren couldn't stop whining about it. This was an example of Trump playing chess while you sheep weren't even playing checkers, but pick-up sticks. Did you see how the leftists rallied up and kept Canada a socialist / borderline communist country? Have you actually noticed that almost half of Canada now wants to secede? Weird that it's mainly the provinces that control the oil and lumber, isn't it?

In high school biology class, our teacher passed around a book from Yale University that showed people naked. Hillary was one of them. I believe it was their freshman class. Something Yale used to do back in the day. Gotta love those liberals. -
Goff is a perfectly find QB, though he's going to have some duds because the run game may dominate and he gets like 10 points or less. Just hope those games happen when you don't need him. This isn't bad, but I personally wouldn't be happy with it. From a talent perspective, you have good RB's and this very well could work out great for you. Personally, Achane is an injury waiting to happen. Swift is very inconsistent. Jones is old. Williams has never been the same since the ACL. Judkins is a complete unknown. All that said, as noted, they are talented and you could have 2 legit RB1's and 2 solid RB's. I like the WR's. They're a quality group. LaPorta should be a respectable TE. On a different team without 95 other guys to throw too, he'd probably be in the top 3 discussion. Kickers, defenses... meh. If this is your complete roster, then that's fine, I wouldn't cut any of them for another QB. If you have a player you can dump, then I'd wait to see what happens in LV, ATL, or SEA to see what's going on with Geno, Penix, or Darnold. Maybe grab one in a few weeks for possible upside/bye week start.

It's called a joke. I know you're not smart enough to see that, so I figured I'd let you know. -
AJ Brown? In 2022, he had 88 receptions, 1496 yards, and 11 TD's... that's 303.6 fp or 17.86 ppg. In 2023, he had 106 receptions, 1456 yards, and 7 TD's... that's 293.6 fpg or 17.27 ppg (he did have 2 fumbles that I'm not accounting for here). In 2024, he had 67 receptions, 1079 yards, and 7 TD's.... that's 216.9 fpg or 16.69 ppg When did he average 13? The impact of Barkley was approximately -0.58 fpg. If you count the fumbles lost, the difference is -0.35 fpg.
-
AJ Brown average 16.7 fpg last year... he averages 17.0 in 2023. The drop off is rather negligible, so yeah, Barkley didn't really have a negative impact on Brown.

Last year, Eagles RB's ran the ball over 450 times. They ran that much because they were winning a lot. I don't think the Raiders are going to be winning that much to get their RB's even to 400 carries. Let's say they do and they throw the ball 100 less times and put them at 535. The Eagles threw the ball 448 times. Last year in Seattle, Geno Smith threw the ball 578 and managed to get JSN 137 targets, Metcalf 108, Lockett 74, and Fant 64. That's 4 guys over 60. Last year, the Raiders only had 3 guys with more 50. I don't think the Raiders or Geno will have a problem getting Bowers 140+ targets.

Everyone thinks the Browns will be in the running for worst team. Why?
TBayXXXVII replied to nobody's topic in FFToday Board
The Browns will probably win 4 or 5 games. They won't be as bad as the Saints, Giants, or Titans.
