Let's discuss the NFL's divisional round matchups

I'm just talking smack. To note, he's not really wrong. When I listen to NFL Radio, there's a ton of people (and hosts), who practically orgasm when talking about how great they've been over the last 30 years. I mean, Tampa has just as many rings in 20 years... yet, crickets. For all the glory talk they shovel, you'd think they won 8. I mean, I do call people on their b.s., but the rest of it is just general football stuff. If people say something about the Bucs, and it's wrong or some b.s. narrative, I point it out because I follow the team. I don't make such remarks about other teams on that level, because I don't follow them closely... it's just usually general banter. I will say, I do find it entertaining that when you say "Eli Manning", HT goes on alert. You mention to him that Eli is overrated, he'll point out how great he was in 1 of 2 games in his whole .500 career that makes him a H.O.F.'er. It is entertaining. Though, a lot of Giants fans are like that. It's funny, Giants fans wanted him gone, even after '07, but now, he's a hero. LOL

As a Bucs fan, we have Baker Mayfield, so that last part is very true.

Your bar is ridiculous. You can count on 1 hand how many QB's made it to 6 straight conference championship games... comparing ANY QB to that standard is preposterous.

Tell me Pro Bowl nominations are meaningless, without telling me Pro Bowl nominations are meaningless.... "Antoine Winfield Jr. didn't make the Pro Bowl this year."

You do realize that Goff has a winning record in the playoffs and has been to a Super Bowl, right?

Mike McCarthy Returning as HC for Dallas

They'd never co-exist. Both want to pick the players, but only one has the power, and he isn't giving it up to anyone. Remember, he let a back-to-back Super Bowl winner WALK because he wouldn't give up player acquisition duties. Jones, in his mind, is a bigger deal than Belichick.

    Wildcard Weekend: Eagles at Buccaneers

I don't completely agree or disagree with you. I don't think Hurts is as good as what people made him out to be, but I think he's a decent QB. I think he's on par with Dak. Highly overrated because people think they're great... but they are, "pretty solid". They are guys you can win with, but not guys that can carry you. Use them the right way, instead of being super stars, and the results should be good.

    Wildcard Weekend: Eagles at Buccaneers

Eagles defense was so bad, as bad as Green Bay a few weeks ago, where they make a backup QB look like Pat Mahomes. I think the Eagles need to clean house after getting dumbed on by Mayfield.
  12. But it's ok that 81M "people", including yourself, voted for Biden who's been making millions from foreign governments for political influence as well as capitalizing financially of the market for 40+ years because of his inside information on bills, spending, and advanced knowledge of market trends? If you can, point me in the direction of the website that shows what shady dealings politicians can be involved in, where it's still ok for me to vote for them. Or is it just a matter of, if the politician is affiliated with Democrats, everything is ok... otherwise, it's bad?
  13. So the case got dismissed because the communists wanted to protect their propaganda "newly amended anti-SLAPP statute", not because the lawsuit didn't have merit?
  14. Does this mean that states along the border can ask for COVID money that they can then re-purpose for migrant relief... since the W.H. isn't helping on that front?
  15. Belichick wants to pick his players... Jones ain't having that. After winning 2 Super Bowls, Jones wouldn't let Jimmy Johnson pick his players, and let Johnson walk.

Diggs hasn't played since Week 2.
  17. This is exactly why many complaints that black folks have, fall on deaf ears to me. They're making their own bed... they need to sleep in it.

"Yeah but" is your go to? LOL
  19. Right off the top, the article starts off with a sentence that I don't agree with and I don't think she's right: "Most would agree that a teacher's job is to create a safe space for all students to express themselves." I don't think a teacher's "job" is to "create a safe space". The classroom is the classroom, period. You're there to learn, they're there to teach. I think "Most would agree" with that. With that, I'm guessing I won't agree with her stance on the situation. We'll see. I read what was posted and I completely agree with the teacher. The teacher is tasked with the job to educate these students to be writers, in a formal setting... it is NOT a creative writing class. I see nothing wrong with the punishment. If the kid thinks they're being unjustly penalized, prove it in writing. The student might win. The tweet from "Saint" is looking to make it a racial issue. My nephew and most of his friends are white... they use tons of words on this list. "Saint" comes off as a typical leftist. 'Teacher is white, I am black and use these words, therefore it's racist'. See Ditto Jax Ditto Alyssa Rose Props to khyla_ed and Jac Jax for using common sense Props to Brindille for not making it about race. I simply disagree with her. Yes, language does always revolve, but one thing that has NEVER changed is slang being written into formal writing. NO ONE ever writes "Dude" in formal writing... or "Party On", or "Hang loose" or anything else like that. Those are "white" slang terms from so clearly omitting slang isn't racist or evolving to include certain types of slang but not others. Looks like the author never actually took a stance.
  20. LOL, nah, I virtually never win anything. I did win a Shark Tooth... ONCE, but that's it. I'm terrible at things like this. At least you have a fan! A guy I work with had a band for the longest time, they played hard rock music. I didn't particularly care for it, but I still went to his shows and bought his stuff to support him. He's a good dude, so I had no problem helping. I actually played his CD when I went to a party and a bunch of people loved it. I made copies of the CD and sold them for $10. I went into work that Monday and handed the guy $140... I told him I made 14 copies. I gave him email addresses the people who bought them and the next show he had, 30 people showed from the list I gave him. Sometimes you just need the right people to hear it.

    Public Domain Unions

They should be abolished in the sense that, no government entity shall have or force work to be done, with unions. If you work for a government entity, you get hired and paid as an individual... not a group. No one comes in and says "Our employees demand to be paid... ", "Our employees demand these benefits...", etc. The government offers wages, hours, raises, etc, based on the individual. Same goes for contracts. If the government needs work done and contracts a group to do the the work, they can NOT be a union group. The only thing Unions do is increase the costs of goods and services arbitrarily, that the public has to pay for. Companies are hired by government agencies based on political donations/affiliations. Tax payers should not have to foot the bill for inflated prices based on politics. If a grocery store, casino, coffee shop, or sports league, etc wants to honor unions, fine by me, they're private entities. Public sector? No.
