I can see your point. Carroll generally force-feeds his situation into more heavily relying on the run than the pass. I think he's kind of setting that up in Vegas with drafting Jeanty. What's interesting though, is that the with Geno Smith (post Russell Wilson), in Seattle, Pete Carroll's offense was definitely throwing more often. Geno averaged 33.5 passes per game while averaged 30... but over the last 3 years with Wilson, he averaged 32. He got more willing to pass as the league shifted. Wilson, in his first 4 seasons, only averaged 27 attempts per game. I think Carroll has evolved with the league enough to know that he needs to throw more often than he used to. In those years you mentioned with Graham, about his less than expected fantasy production, he was still the second most targeted player on the team. I just think the offense wasn't very good because those years were really bad for he Seahawks in terms of the talent at RB. It was a lot more of "Russell, you do it". That's not a good recipe for the passing game. That likely won't be the situation in Vegas. Geno knows what Carroll wants. I think Chip Kelly will have an offense that will maximize the talent he has. I mean, his offenses at OSU were pretty potent. Look at this way, with LeSean McCoy at RB and Mark Sanchez and Nick Foles at QB, Jeremy Maclin had 1300 yards and 10 TDs... Jordan Mathews almost had 900 yards and 8 TD's on 67 receptions and had a top 5 offense. Riley Cooper had an 800 yard 8 TD season with Chip Kelly. Back in 2021, I said Brady would throw for 5000 yards and 50 TD's. He threw for 5300 and 43... I wasn't that far off. I said I expect both Godwin and Evans to have WR1 seasons (if they stayed healthy). I wasn't too far off there either.... Evans was WR9 and Godwin WR15. Though, if you look at fpg, Godwin was 7th and Evans was 11th. The reason for those predictions was volume. I fully expected the Bucs to throw the ball 700 times... Brady had 719 attempts that year. How does that translate? I expect Geno Smith to throw the ball at least 550 times this year. So, who's getting the targets? How many targets do you expect Jakobi to get? Bech? Tucker? In order, I'll say 110, 55, & 70... bringing us up to 235 leaving us with about 315 left out there. Let's be generous and say 75 to the other WR's and TE's... that's still 240 left. Last year, Mattison & Abdullah accounted for 95 pass targets... they're both gone. In their place is Jeanty and Mostert, and neither are noted pass catchers. Want to give them 80? We're down to 160... that's about where Bowers was last year. Let's be negative and say he gets 140, catches 68% for 10 ypr... that's 95 receptions for 950 yards... we'll give him the same 5 TD's. That's 220 fantasy points. Last year, that's TE4. I think that's his floor. Interestingly enough, he was TE3 in terms of fpg.

    Are hyperboles true?

Nice straw man. You said it was a "lie". That's incorrect. A lie is knowing what is true, yet saying the opposite. That's where I said you were wrong and told you what hyperbole was. Take the "L" and walk away. You don't even have to admit it, just walk away.

    Are hyperboles true?

So instead of taking an "L" and walking away (again), you keep digging your hole deeper? A hyperbole is an exaggeration of the truth to which should not be taken literally. That does not mean, "it's a lie". I hope you put your metal helmet on when you leave the house this morning.
  4. Like I said, I understand the strategy behind what they did, I just think a louder message would've been to target Hirohito himself.

Update - Rashee Rice: 6-Game Suspension

Call me a cynic, but I'm guessing the date is placed there so that they have an excuse to table the suspension until next season.
  6. LOL, you still don't realize that you were wrong. That's funny.
  7. Thank you for proving how stupid you are.
  8. @TimHauck once again showing I was right and he was wrong, doesn't admit it, but still brings it up to prove some other point (probably where he's wrong). Weird.
  9. Oh yes, I understand why those targets were selected from a strategic standpoint. I have no doubt that a big part of the reason why the war ended just 1 month later, was this attack. I just think that if you dropped one of those on Tokyo instead, and took out Hirohito, the other bomb wouldn't have been necessary. It also sends a message to war mongering leaders, that they might be the target, not their facilities which can be rebuilt. Pre-WW2, I doubt any country had safeguards in place to protect their leaders from an atomic bomb.

    MLB 2025

That's because you're looking at ESPN. Fox has 2 in their top 50 22. William Contreras, Milwaukee Brewers 38. Jackson Chourio, Milwaukee Brewers
  11. No civilian "deserved" anything... but something had to be done. I think the biggest problems of the defending side of wars is that attacking the person in charge isn't the main objective. Japan attacked us... let's go into Tokyo and destroy their Capitol. We should have went after Hirohito. Let them know that they, personally, are the target. Putin went into Ukraine, I understand Ukraine has to defend themselves, but they got so much help from other countries, send a bomber to take out Moscow. Fock Putin. Send a message right up his a$$.

    Scarry Terry contract extension?

Maybe it was James Cook they meant (he got his deal yesterday), and probably why the took it down.

    Official Gavin Newsom Thread

Uh, they just did it in 2021. https://calmatters.org/politics/2021/12/california-redistricting-final-maps/ Either they're going to do it more OR they're just trying to push the agenda of "Republicans bad (but don't look at us when we do it)". Of course though, you won't read this because you have me on ignore for proving how stupid you are, over and over again. But so be it.

    Keeper selection input....

Now that I think about it more, I'd keep both QB's and Wright. You start 4 RB's. I'm willing to bet that most teams in your league are keeping at least 1 QB and as many RB's as they can. Why I'd keep Wright... last year, Allen got 111 touches as the RB2 on the team... nothing changed with his/the Jets RB situation. Wright had had 74 as the RB3 in Miami, but Mostert's 104 are now available with Mattison being out for the season. I don't think Achane has the build to take the bulk of those touches and I think Wright has a shot at being close to doubling his total... especially since Miami didn't really impactful additions to the backfield after Mattison got hurt.

    Vikings Male Cheerleaders 🌈

The NBA and college are loaded with guys like that, assisting the girls, but they're not cheerleaders like the flamer dude in Minnesota. That's the kind of person I thought you were talking about.

    Official Gavin Newsom Thread

That was a stupid tweet. Trump's presidency ends January 20th, 2029... regardless of what the Communists in CA do.

    Official Gavin Newsom Thread

That is both funny (props), and stupid (shows a complete lack of awareness and intelligence), in one post.
  21. Your post reminded me of this thread (post specifically). If you use WAR, 2 of Tatis' 3 best seasons were AFTER the suspension.
  22. We'll see, I don't follow college football much, but my son is a big Ohio St fan, so he likes the Egbuka pick. Outside of that, I don't really know anyone else. As for Reddick, I'm skeptical. He signed a 3-year deal with the Eagles and had a big season surrounded by great talent. The following year, he was back to what he was prior to signing with the Eagles. They didn't like what they saw Y2 and so they traded him. He made a big fuss with the deal, finally played, and had the worst year of his career. Might he have a big year on another on a contract year, since he only signed a 1-yr deal? Maybe... but I don't like the optics. He's going to be 31 next month, not 28 like his big season in Philly. I have very tempered expectations... and I'm nervous of the results. If he does what he did with the Eagles in that he has a great season, then slacks off after getting new deal, that's going to hurt. Baker is "fine". He's another case where I think he's similar to Reddick... had a monster year surrounded by great talent. He'll have that this year as well, so I expect a good season. The thing I worry about him, like with Reddick, a good season might turn into a Dak Prescott 4-yr $240M deal where he's getting $60M AAV. That's too much money to pay a JAG, in my opinion. Also, THESE were the best jersey's.
