I called this game after the Pick 6. I was at my friend's house and pointed to exactly this topic. In that Super Bowl, Tampa got to Mahomes rushing 4 guys, blitzing as well (because that's what Bowles does), but for the most part, 4 guys. Mahomes didn't have time to throw the ball because 1) the pass rush got in quickly and the WR's/Kelce were all practically double covered because 4 guys would go out and had 7 covering them. The only way to combat this from the Chiefs point of view back in 2020 was bring in an extra TE (which didn't happen until the 2nd half), keep the RB in, and basically run Hill deep and Kelce over the middle. The problem there was that the Bucs were still getting pressure and Mahomes was running around like a chicken without a head. This year, there was no Tyreek Hill to keep the secondary honest nor was there a competent blocking TE. The Chief's only resort was to keep the RB and Kelce in and force bad (and old), receivers, to try and beat the best pass defense in the NFL. The Chiefs never had a chance. That Pick-6 proved to be the nail in the coffin. After getting sacked on the first two plays, Mahomes gambled and lost. It was at that point the Chiefs quit. They knew they had no answers on offense or defense.

Clearly, I gave the Chiefs too much credit.

I give them a pass. It's an understandable mistake.

Good point.

Liberals are still upset that Trump is exposing their money laundering scheme I see.

One thing I feel confindent about is... if these 3 flipped their eras, Allen and Jackson would've been out of football before the end of their rookie contract and Marino would be throwing for 7000 yards a season.

Dynasty Alert: Tet McMillan isn't going to be that good

Hopefully that's the reason why at 6'4", he was so prone to hitting DL in the chest. I've never seen a QB that tall, get so many passes batted down, where the DL didn't jump or the ball NOT hit his arms. -

MVP is also a team award. If Burrows defense was just "bad", not horrific, they probably win the division. The lost 2 games to Baltimore... one in OT (by 3), and the other by 1. Flip those two and Cincinnati wins the division at 11-6... not counting other games where if the defense was just bad, they probably win 12 to 13 games. -

Burrow probably would've been unanimous had his defense just been below average instead of one of the worst all-time. -
It's just a giant coincidence and misunderstanding

Bondi instructs DOJ to criminally investigate companies for DEI
TBayXXXVII replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
Then why would this matter? Trump is removing the Biden Administration DEI initiatives. If Minnesota wasn't using them, then it's a non-issue. Seems like you're crying at the sky to just... well, cry at the sky. -
I never understood why the team getting fleeced would ever agree to this.
-
I'm ok with that... maybe they can take the Pacific Coast with them.

Just calling it like I see it. Your bosses chose to avoid those types of people, before DEI. Meaning, they were racist to not be interested in them. Then, the Biden Administration pushes DEI and now your bosses are forced to look for them, and alienate other races. Simply, they were allowed to be racist and now forced to be...it's actually cut and dry. LOL Not surprised your partisan views block you from seeing it. -

So you're saying that before the Biden administration, your racist bosses were allowed to be racist... but now they're forced to be racist? Interesting. -
Trump administration drafting executive order to initiate Department of Education’s elimination
TBayXXXVII replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
I'm guessing no. I say that because anytime you look up federal money, they say how much each state is giving then they give you approximate percentages on where it's going. For example, NJ got like $23B from federal money like in 2021 or 22 (can't remember for sure), and education money is in there. Prior to COVID, NJ was pretty much always under $20B. Now, I do know that NJ was paying around $2.5B. So, if they're getting around $2 to $2.3B, and paying $2.5B, that means NJ was getting back as much or less than what they paid. At worst, it's a break even. At best, they get a bump. So, again, why bother with the DOE at that point? Knowing that our government likes to take our money and put it places they don't belong, yeah, I'm pretty confident that states always pay more than what they get. Hence, I'm willing to bet those numbers are pretty standard. Not the same dollars, but the same rates. Meaning, at worst, it's a push. -

Oh I have no doubt that they do. NONE. 0.0% doubt.
