I view that as Biden knew before he left office that Hunter would get no jail time. If Hunter does get jail time, because I have very little respect for Joe as a person, I'd see it as him saying "F-U" to his son for dragging him into it and being a political football and partially responsible for Joe not running for re-election. Also, if Hunter gets any jail time, I'd expect it to be very, very short, and the MSM and DNC (and people like you), will pretend that Hunter was accountable and not above the law. Whereas, the rest of us in the sane world know that had this been a regular citizen, they probably would've been found guilty of treason and given the death penalty.

Trump should have a person tasked with reviewing every case to see if the government overreached their authority and/or prosecuted people worse than what should have. Those people should be pardoned or have their sentence commuted as soon as possible. Anyone else who was prosecuted fairly, should serve the rest of their sentence as applicable. That's what SHOULD happen. Now, none of that matters because whatever route Trump takes, it will piss off the left, so whatever he does is ok by me.

He doesn't even have to take the job. Even if Hubbard continues on this pace... they either wasted the pick on Brooks or spent more money on Hubbard than they should have. If they'd have offered Hubbard a 3 year / $15M extension in the offseason, he probably takes it and they're only on the hook for $5M a year instead of $8M AND using a 2nd round pick on a guy who plays the same position. Probably would've been better used on a guy who can help this year.

That Act was the stepping stone to big media buying up all the smaller outlets and the liberal media became a national giant. Over 90% of the mainstream media in just a few years, had one talking point... the Democrat talking point. It's the reason Fox became as big as it is, after that. The liberals have controlled the narrative in the media and Hollywood since then and have been using it ever since. Incorrect, the party's job is to support the constituency, not the President. If they felt that he wasn't capable of doing the job, they have the responsibility, to pull the plug and find someone who is. Who gives a crap if he didn't want to step aside? There was no big Joe Biden fan fare on the Left. No one "loved" him. Even to the constituency, he was a pawn. It was clear to many people... LONG before the debate, that he was going to get wrecked. That's why the elites waited for that opportunity to throw him under the bus and select their next candidate without having to put the spot up for the rest of the party. I think you're giving Biden too much credit. Everyone, who wasn't stupid, knew Biden wasn't right when he won the election back in 2020. It was glaringly obvious less that 2 years later. Republican's have been pointing out incidents over, and over, and over, and over again... ad nauseum. The entire party and media kept waving those claims off and defending him, so don't give me any bull crap excuse of Biden's ego. If the party elites wanted Biden out, they could've played the sympatric / emotional card and the rank and file would slurped it up and pretended Republican's never pointed it out. The elites needed a puppet. They needed Harris (I mean, it's why she was even selected as the VP in the first place, that should be obvious). So, they sat and waited until it was too late and pulled the plug on Biden. They wanted to make sure that no one had the chance the to put together a campaign strategy to run against her.
