I can assure you, Julio will not say "No" to anything.

It's because they just wanted to cater to the TDS crowd. They know that the TDS crowd will swallow anything.

Great throw... good thing the dude didn't slide, the throw would've been overlooked had he been safe.

So, listening to the fantasy sports channel today, they were talking about Travis Hunter. These guys were saying that they wouldn't even draft Travis Hunter early in a redraft or keeper league, even if you got IDP's. Their contention was that he wouldn't be on the field enough, on either side, to warrant a pick that high. They were ok with dynasty leagues, because they thought that at some point, Hunter would become exclusive to one side or the other. That said, they had him 4th in dynasty drafts behind Jeanty, Hampton, and McMillan... even in IDP leagues. They did say they wouldn't fault someone for taking Hampton over McMillan, but they wouldn't do it.

Guess you didn't know that Democrats controlled West Virginia from like the 1930's to around 2015, eh? Heck from 1992 through 2014, Democrats had the Governor and control of the House and Senate every year (except 4 years where there was a Republican governor from 1997-2001).

Yes.

I knew you were trying to be funny, even though I knew you were a bit off... I just didn't care because it was funny. I only responded when I saw nobody take a not entirely deserved "L".

Yes. There is a bigger correlation between obesity and poverty than any other two data points. West Virginia ranks in the top 5 of most impoverished states. As people's income increase, the obesity rate lessens. It's why the arguments of people stealing (like AOC's), because they have no food, are completely absurd.
-
You were wrong, but not how you think. There were actually 4 (not 3), Fantastic 4 movies. This one is #5. The first one was in 1994, then there was a reboot of that one in 2015. But, in between, there was one in 2005 and another in 2007.
-
You actually weren't far off though. No matter what study or data point you look at, you'll find the there's a higher obesity rate among the demographics that Democrats pander to the most.

Not sure who covered whom, but Elton John's version of Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds is awesome and the Beatles isn't worth listening too.

I'll take your deflection as accepting the "L".

I'll try this again... s l o w e r They tell you which ones won't be affected by the tariffs H T H

Happy Gilmore’ Sequel In Development & A Script Has Been Written, Actor Christopher McDonald Says

Isn't that every Adam Sandler movie? -
I'll try this just one more time... directly from the website: "Many Ford vehicles are built right here in the United States and will not be impacted by these new tariffs. Here are the American-assembled Ford models you’ll find at Westlie Ford:" - note, they tell you exactly which F-150's: Ford F-150 – Built in Dearborn, MI and Claycomo, MO F-150 Lightning – Built in Dearborn, MI They also say: "If it starts with a 1, 4, or 5, it was assembled in the United States and will not be affected by these import tariffs." I don't see how when someone tells you exactly what is happening, that it can be construed as "misleading".

Don't blame you. Though, I'm more comfortable about it in keeper/dynasty leagues than re-draft. I mean, he's still not signed yet and they don't really need to sign him until some time before the next draft. If you draft him in a keeper or dynasty league, you have him no matter what team he's on. -
The website tells you WHICH vehicles to buy (VIN #). Those vehicles, they're telling us, will not be affected by the tariffs. Tim's point was, if anything came from another country, it would be subject to the tariffs. Ford is telling people specifically that certain ones will not be... and they tell you exactly which ones. I'm not sure how being told exactly what vehicles to buy to avoid being upcharged because of tariffs, is "misleading".

Looks like you need to go to economics 095. From Ford American-Made Ford Vehicles The good news? Many Ford vehicles are built right here in the United States and will not be impacted by these new tariffs. Here are the American-assembled Ford models you’ll find at Westlie Ford: Ford F-150 – Built in Dearborn, MI and Claycomo, MO F-150 Lightning – Built in Dearborn, MI Ford Bronco – Built in Wayne, MI Ford Mustang – Built in Flat Rock, MI Ford Escape – Built in Louisville, KY Ford Explorer – Built in Chicago, IL Ford Expedition – Built in Louisville, KY Ford Ranger – Built in Wayne, MI Pro Tip: Want to check where your Ford was built? Look at the VIN. If it starts with a 1, 4, or 5, it was assembled in the United States and will not be affected by these import tariffs.
-
Why's that? They're made here. What imports are being affected? The vast majority of of Ford vehicles are made and assembled in the US... all of them, in North America. Outside of the very few made in Canada and Mexico, how would Ford be affected by the tariffs?
-
Why's that? You don't think there are automakers in the US making cars?

I agree with you on IDP, but only because it's not done to the level where it's actually good. Using D/ST like the way leagues do to this day, is probably more lame than IDP's to the level which they are used. In IDP leagues, there's a lot of players that would go in the mid-to-late rounds. In D/ST leagues, they're drafted in either the last or second to last round. If people actually started IDP's like offensive players, for example: 2 DE's, 2 DT's, 3 OLB, 3 I/MLB, 3 CB's and 3 S's, with more equitable scoring, IDP's would be much more important. At that point though, fantasy football (w/IDP's), would become more like fantasy baseball. I think the vast majority like fantasy football because it's easy (the way it currently is). I don't think they actually want it to be intense.

You might be right. Hmmm... that may change things then. ETA: I think I take Robinson. With .5PPR, assuming people stay healthy, I don't envision Chase getting the target share or volume that separated him from the pack. I still think he could be WR1 this year, but I don't see 5 ppg advantage over #2.

That time of year again: Camp injury news (Jaydon Blue)
TBayXXXVII replied to Vikings4ever's topic in FFToday Board
If they fix him as a passer, he won't be a poor man's Lamar Jackson, Lamar Jackson will be a poor man's Justin Fields. Coming out of college, Jackson was a very bad passer, Fields was very good. Both needed coaching help. Jackson got it... Fields never did. I do agree with you on Jackson, which is why I said what I did, in that Fields could be better. -
Yeah, knowing the picks could be a difference maker. I'm assuming that if he had Burrow, Robinson, and Chase, that he made it to the Championship game. So when he said later, I'm thinking pick 11 or 12 (maybe if lost in the semi's, 10th). Now, if he's talking about rounds like 3rd, 4th, 5th, something, then I keeping the guy with the latest round pick.
