Personally, I'm not sure why the Chiefs would want to trade for him. Adams has 2 years left on his deal after this one that deal also comes with $35M+ for each of those 2 years. That's base pay that they have to cover. He'll be 33 next year. When Tyreek Hill was 27, they didn't want to give him $30M a year, now they're going to take on a lesser player for more money? Plus give a division rival a chance to get better? I don't see it. If they want to trade for a player, their best move is to trade for a guy who's a nice player on a crap team. Someone like Diontae Johnson comes to mind. He's a perfect 1 year rental who's only going to cost the remainder of $7M. He has nothing left on his deal after this year so neither the Chiefs or Panthers are locked into anything detrimental after this season. A 3rd round pick should be enough... maybe a 4th.

The missing link in that article is the cap hit the Browns take NEXT year. Because of the voidable years in Cooper's contract, trading him now will result in a $22.5M cap hit in 2025. If the Browns need to eat more money THIS year to make it easier for the Chiefs on top of next years cap hit, I'm thinking that the asking price would be pretty high.

I don't think they're lying. I think they're putting out the data they're collecting. I don't think the data is good though. I know I've actually had people call me and text asking about the election. I've firmly said I'm voting for Harris and followed the leftist party line. I want the left to think they're polling is strong and that their turnout is lowered. I want the right to believe the left is polling strong so that the right get out and vote. I know of other people who have done this as well.

With Justin Fields, he was a strong WR1.

So Moore was able to be productive throughout multiple years of starting QB's, yet with Fields, he put up a career year. Fields. Fields was able to get more out of Moore than Darnold and every other QB he played with. Fields. Justin Fields, in case you forgot who that was. Yes, Darnold started 11 of those games. Moore's numbers with Darnold project to a 17-game season in line with numbers you noted (remember, those other seasons were 16 games, not 17). Point being, we've seen Darnold do this in the past and fold like a cheap suit. Carolina started out 3-1 that year... the next 5 games, he was crap. I'm not buying the "he had no one" excuse. We saw what Moore did with Fields, and Fields might even be worse than Darnold (we'll see how that works out). I think Jefferson will be fine, but prior to his injury, he was a stud, a championship winner. I think he'll still be great, but he won't be the separator that he was with Cousins. He was WR1... he'll probably fall in the WR5 to 7 range with Darnold. Tempered expectations is all I'm saying.
