  1. Oh, he's going to get it, lol... they gave him a new deal. Every game I've watched, that Lawrence played... admittedly, only about 8 to 10, he looked below average even when there were games against below average teams. Last year, I caught 2 games (the first two)... vs Miami and Cleveland. Did you see those crappy performances? Actually, I'm wrong. I did see him play great against Green Bay last year. Prior to last year, I'm not kidding, a high school kid could have done better than him against Tampa towards the end of the year. He has talent, I just don't know if he has the "IT" factor. I don't know if he even cares... which I think is worse.

    Saquon Barkley

One possibility I'm going to look into is Bucky Irving. The guy who has him is an Eagles fan. LOL

    Saquon Barkley

Our league is a 2QB league. At least half of the first round every year are QB's, so I'll probably be able to get one or both of those guys in the draft without having to trade up. But, I'll have to see what I can do with my keepers. I just might try to trade him for a bunch of mid-round picks. I might be able to get a 3rd, 4th, and 5th and maybe a lottery ticket player.

    Saquon Barkley

Thinking this is the perfect time to trade him in my keeper league. My keeper league is salary cap based and Barkley is obviously really expensive. Someone still may trade for him, since I live in the Philly market. I have Jonathan Taylor, so I have a solid back to keep heading into the season.

Tush Push, Brotherly Shove, what have you.... seems to be getting banned today. If so, is Barkley looking at a potential 20+ TD season?
  6. Yeah, I think you're right about that.

Brock Purdy, 49ers agree to 5-year, $265M deal

Good investment. The dude played 3 seasons and finished 2 of them on IR.
  8. ...and they're usually pretty good. Great? Not necessarily, but probably fantasy starters or streamers. I mean, why would you call a guy who has 15 receptions on a year, a security blanket? I think some broadcasters may overuse the term, like @Showboat said, but overall, the player is probably decent, at worst.
  9. I don't know how true this is. The three players that come to mind who were described as "security blankets" were top tier players.... Wes Welker who was a WR1, Kelce who was the TE1 for multiple years, and Evan Engram who was a TE1 (when healthy). Were there others? To be fair though, one of those guys was a JAG for a couple years with Trevor Lawrence. But, who else was described as such?

Hot take: jersey number aesthetics are stupid

I'm ok with retiring numbers of players who make the NFL Hall of Fame. The problem comes in when teams retire the numbers of their franchise Hall of Famers. I mean, I understand it, but the problem is that the amount of numbers not available become significantly too high. In basketball and hockey, it's not really problem because they have 15 roster players... baseball is close to football because they have 40, but the NFL has 58. That's just too many. The other problem that the NFL has is that it's very easy to quantify the justification of some players and number groupings, it's why they ran into the problem with their position numbers and opened up pretty much every number to anyone. Spurier is right. The reason being, he's not too full of himself. He didn't have the same ego as others.
  11. Not surprised. Libbies gonna libby
  12. Click-bait? Democrats pandering?
  13. I'm not 100% against abortion. I'm fine with rape or medical reasons, being an acceptable exception. Outside of that 0.05% of situations, my preference is that I'm fine with banning abortions. That said, I'm ok with a standard of any degenerate can kill their unborn baby whenever she wants, as long as she's covering 100% of the cost and undergoes mandatory out-patient psychiatric care... or go to prison for M1. I'm ok with forgoing the mandatory psychiatric care and M1 charge, if they forever forfeit their right to vote. In my opinion, the unborn baby has rights. There used to be a time where the Democrats and ACLU fought for those with no voice (I mean, they're doing now with illegals... when just 6 months ago, they didn't). Guess that doesn't count here because the unborn baby can't vote but the mom can.
  14. So no one loses. Why is there an issue then?
  15. The State of Georgia is also protecting the mother's rights. Prior to the situation, she apparently didn't want the abortion either. Her body, her choice... right? Her last choice on the matter was to have the baby. We know this because we knew she was pregnant and never chose to get an abortion.
  16. LOL, I'm just trolling those who get easily triggered. I don't think he meant kill, but I do think he wanted that seed planted and I don't think for a minute that he'd be upset if someone chose to interpret his comment that way and try to take that route. Also, that's not me being a sick freak, it's being clear to the leftist motives. It's not my fault that they're a violent group.
  17. When restaurants "86" an item, what's the end result? I'm guessing disposal and elimination. Destruction. No longer exist in any form or fashion. No?

Not sure what is more of a waste of time, them having a problem with it or people posting about it on a fantasy football website.

FCC approves Verizon acquisition of Frontier for DEI

Just because you're not smart enough to understand what DEI is, that's not my fault.

Imagine being upset about the government pushing back against racism.

@posty is 100% wrong on that, but aside from that, he's a solid poster.
