    Antonio Brown #58 ???

"Must sign"? No. It's a luxury sign. He was cheap and he used to be great. It's a no risk / high reward signing. But no, it wasn't a "must sign".
  2. The media calling out Trump but not Biden.... that doesn't concern you?
  3. So misleading the population is ok now? Odd, I thought you people say it wasn't.

Tank Battle I could get into this

If the tanks can actually shoot something that would physically damage another tank, I'd be interested. Otherwise, it's laser tag with inanimate object. I wouldn't watch people with laser tag, I wouldn't watch this.

    007 Movies Go Woke Confirmed

If they lost ONLY $70M it's because they didn't spend a lot of money to make the movie (meaning, they didn't believe it had a chance to succeed), or they're lying about how much they lost.

No, I don't agree with you. I said: "What do I think Jason Licht will do? Let Godwin and David walk...".

If you have the spot, sure. It's hard to tell because he doesn't play much. If they re-sign Fournette, which I have no idea what's going to happen there, then Vaughn hasn't impressed. If they let Fournette walk, then that's a good sign for Vaughn. With no off-season or pre-season games, there was never a chance to see Vaughn play.

I only tell people they're wrong, when they are wrong. Virtually everything I post about Tampa proves to be right. I know my team. Other teams? That's a different story as I don't follow them as closely. I know the coaches and their game planning... but what the GM does, that's a different story. He's not good at his job and it shows every year... even this year. Bringing in Brady is great, but lets look at this realistically... Brady signed with the Bucs, the Bucs didn't sign Brady. Brady saw an offense with talent that he could win with. He saw an improving defense that could hold leads. The thing is, depth is tragically low. That's why they needed to sign McCoy (who sucks by the way). It's why they needed to sign Fournette, who really isn't any better than Jones... and when they did sign him, they cut the wrong RB. He should have cut McCoy and not Ogunbowale. Gronk picked Tampa because Brady did. That had nothing to do with the GM. That said, we have a TE who's always hurt making $4M this year and $6M next year. We have another TE who's making $7M to sit on the bench. We're paying $21M to 3 TE's and only one of them has any real value and he's not even worth his $10M... let alone $21M. On defense, the DLine depth is terrible. They lost Vea and now there's really nothing left. Any loss to any other player on the line and their pass rush goes from great to mediocre. That's why our GM sucks. This is the person who's going to be in charge of the off-season unfortunately, so I'm not really sure what he's going to do. David, Barrett, and Godwin probably have a market value of about $45M combined. I don't see $25M as a ton of cap space when you need to come up with $15M. Now, Tampa does have some options to free up space. They can move Wirfs from RT to LT and release Donavan Smith and save $14M because he isn't very good and really overpaid. They could cut Ryan Jensen and save another $10M because like Smith, he's overpaid. Freeing up $24M would certainly help, but that would create a need to add a C and RT, which will either cost money in FA (taking a chunk of that savings), or draft capital will be needed. All of this on top of the fact that they're going to only have 2 RB's on the roster at season's end because neither McCoy nor Fournette should be back. If you are of the mindset (like some here), who believe that Fournette is the better RB, then that's another what, $5 or $6M they need to come up with? Oh, and they're going to need to add another DT to replace Suh, who will be a free agent. Our GM spent the last 6 seasons hiring and firing bad coaches and drafting/signing a lot of bad players, which caused a need to over pay free agents just to be terrible in those 6 seasons. Coming into this season, the Bucs under his watch built a team that was 34-62 and finished 4th in the division in 4 of those seasons. So, do I think $25M is a enough cap space for him? Absolutely not. So, I have no real idea who he's going to re-sign. To me, the right thing to do is to re-sign Barrett and Godwin and let Suh, Fournette, & David walk. I'd release both Jensen and Smith. In the draft, find an OL and DL replacement for Suh and Smith and sign an experienced C who's actually worth their money and two decent RB's for depth. What do I think Jason Licht will do? Let Godwin and David walk, keep both Jensen and Smith and spend his first two picks on a WR and RB.

    Antonio Brown #58 ???

Comes across that way. Evans is overrated, even though he's recorded 6 consecutive seasons with over 65 receptions and 1,000 yards with bums as QB's passing to him and him being the primary target. Teams couldn't/can't cover him with 1 DB. He's legitimately one of the 10 best (possibly even 5), WR's in the NFL. I think this year even cements that fact. He was under 60% catch% every year, with the exception of 2018... because his catch% was over 67% with Fitzpatrick. This year, with Brady and playing on one leg and no off-season to develop a rapport with his new QB, he's still over 65%. Kinda makes one think that he'd probably be over 70% with better QB's. You claim Godwin "can't stay on the field", when he played in 46 of his 48 games in the NFL and 4 of 8 this year. Yeah, the hamstring is an issue, but the illegal hit causing a concussion and a broken finger requiring surgery are flukes. Not really expecting something like that to happen again. Even still, assuming he doesn't play this week again, he will have played in 50 of his first 57 games. That's not really what I'd call someone who "can't stay on the field". Howard isn't a big loss. He's a good blocker and a terrible route runner. Yes, he is a good pass catcher, but the reason why he's underwhelmed in fantasy is because he's rarely where he's supposed to be. He's a guy you can tag as a guy who "can't stay on the field", because he can't. He's finished each of his 4 seasons on the IR. I guess why I say that you appear biased to me is because you seem to have a very inaccurate assessment of the team.

Apparently, your definition of "a ton of cap space" and mine are clearly 2 different definitions. Assuming $7M for draft picks, the Bucs are looking at about $25M in cap space. They also have to sign Shaq Barrett too. I'm assuming you believe the Bucs are going to be cutting a lot of people.

    I'm satisfied with the outcome

I certainly am fine with people having them, I just don't want one. If necessary, I will buy one, I just hope it doesn't come to that. My fingers will be crossed over the next 4 years. My first course of action though will be to move from the blue city I'm in, to a red one.

    Tampa Tom

Just imagine what they'd be at if they were both healthy! Probably both in the top 3.

    Move over Tom Brady...

I wonder how many QB's ever passed for less than 100 yards in their debut and got a win. I didn't see the game, but based on what I saw from the box score, it appeared to be a very boring game. I heard that the Dolphins never had a drive over 35 yards. They only took the ball over mid-field 1 time and never had a drive of 7 plays or more. If it weren't for the defense and special teams, they may not have scored at all.

The only satisfactory outcome, aside from a complete Republican sweep, would be the 100% removal of white liberals. A.k.a, terrorists.

It's Official: Al Roker Fat Again

I missed where you said about insurance. My bad. I'm more inclined to agree with you on that front, but still, that's up to the insurance companies to decide whether it get covered or not. I don't believe they're forced to cover it, they choose to. At least, that's why I perceive to be the case. I don't know if that's true or not. I'm not a fan of the government telling private companies what they can and cannot cover. Now, if it's a government funded insurance plan, then I agree with you 100% as it's the governments money and they have the right to dictate their terms. I will add this. I would be ok with insurance companies who pay for the procedure to be able to recoup the money if the person does not follow proper protocol and gains the weight back.

It's Official: Al Roker Fat Again

I agree with you that unless you change your lifestyle, it won't work... but that's not the procedures fault. As I said, it's the individuals at fault, not the doctors. Saying the procedure should not be allowed for that reason, is equivalent to saying guns should be outlawed because people kill people with guns. It's not the guns fault, it's the user. Same with this. It's not the procedure's fault that it didn't work, it's the person getting the procedure's lack of responsibility who's at fault.
