Trump fires back at Clooney- Second Rate Movie Star
TBayXXXVII replied to Vince44's topic in The Geek Club
That's your fault for trying. The only difference between Trump and any other politician is that people are willing to call out Trump. That's literally it. The vast majority of media on either side call out their representatives for crap they do. Liberals will tell you "but Trump's worse", but reality (and common sense), knows that's just bull crap. No one should ever view any politician by what they say or even do, but ONLY by the bills/policies they write and/or vote for... nothing else. -
Most of the NFL is trash, including the Bills and Cowboys
TBayXXXVII replied to Mufaletta's topic in FFToday Board
This is why I say NFL fans are sheep for buying into the "franchise QB" crap. If you have an elite QB, pay him... if not, never pay him. Move on. Paying guys like Dak, Jones, Mayfield, Darnold, Cousins, etc anywhere from $30M to $50M+ per year is wasting money and time. If they want more than $10 to $15M AAV, let someone else pay them. If by Y3, you don't feel your QB is worth a big extension/payday, don't pick up the option and draft a guy that year. Let your guy compete with the kid and trade the veteran to a team willing to sell his fanbase fool's gold. Next year, Young, Stroud, and Richardson will be entering Y4 and will need their 5th year options picked up. If those teams think they have a franchise QB, either give them a long term deal or trade them. There's no need to wait the extra year. If Stroud has a year somewhere between his rookie season and last year, I'm willing to bet Houston would get at least a first round pick and more for him. Giving him $40M+ AAV isn't going to make your team better. Save the money and build the rest of the team to help the new/young guy. -

Trump fires back at Clooney- Second Rate Movie Star

Clooney is fine. Never said, "Wow, Clooney is that movie, I gotta see it", nor have I ever said, "Ugh, Clooney is in that movie, pass." -
My nephew (17), took his two younger cousins (12 & 9), to see it. The youngest liked the movie, my nephew and the 12 year old thought it was horrible.
-
You could be right. Looking at their roster, of their OL's, only 4 players were drafted by the Giants... only 1 guy started all year. The other 3 had 16 starts among them.... one of which started 6 because he only played 6.
-
Got it, it's Trump's fault for trying to incentivize American businesses to do work in America to employ American's with higher paying jobs. The nerve of that guy.
-
I'm fine with a policy that would enforce it... I just don't trust any democrat politician to write such a policy. If Stalin, Mao Zedong, and Hitler all said, "look, the sky is blue today", I'd believe them over and current Democrat politician. A worse human being has never existed in the world, than a current state or federally elected Democrat politician.
-
It's because they know they've been lied to and don't want to admit it, and hence, don't want to discuss it because then they'd have to admit that Trump and the Republican party were right about Biden.

Yeah, no crap Dlck Tracy, I said that. What I also said was that the left apparently only has a problem with it when the right does it. They sit on a pillar of moral superiority when they point it out and expect people on the right to change their voting habits when the right is called out. When they don't, they get demonized. The left has been doing this my whole life and I'm tired of their crap. I have ZERO respect for any left-wing politician and ZERO respect for any left-wing media personality. They can all fock off.

https://corner.bigblueinteractive.com/index.php?mode=2&thread=653435 PFF rated 3 (2 starters), of their OL's among the worst 15 on the team. Their best OL in this group was Schmitz, with a 61.4 rating and was 35th among league Centers last year. Eluemunor had a rating of 63.2 which was 65th among 141 Tackles rated. Van Roten had a rating of 63.4, which was 61st among guards rated. PFN ranked their OLine as 28th. Sharp Football Analysis, had them ranked 32nd. Need a password for PFF, but I heard on the Fantasy sports channel on Sirius/XM that they had the Giants at 23rd. They apparently still have a pretty bad OLine and/or, really hope their players improve.

Inflation was going down under Biden, now it’s going back up

What, that you're not an idiot? I don't have to prove you wrong on that, you prove me right with every post. -
I said they shouldn't be, but are allowed to... and you think I said that I'm in favor of it?
-
So to be clear, Trump's tariffs on foreign imports is going to force American automakers increase their prices because they're using foreign countries to make their parts and/or vehicles. Trump incentivizing those companies to bring production back to the US by not imposing those tariffs on domestic made parts and automobiles while creating more jobs domestically and cheaper American automobiles.... that's Trump's fault and not the American automakers fault?
-
I didn't say that. What I'm saying is... no one on the left had a problem with Hunter, but they have a problem with Kushner. Either it's a problem for both or neither. I think it's a problem for both, but the hypocracy on the left apparently says otherwise.

Awesome! Now, let's see how far we can go and work to get Trump a 3rd term. -
He won't, because he knows his side lied and he still voted for it... all the while condemning Republican's who voted for any of their candidates, who lied.
-
So political bias wins out? Shocker!!!
-
I'm not saying the should be, I'm saying they are allowed. It's a problem I have with the government. It's why I will never trust any politician to actually care about the country. I will however feel that one cares more than the other. I don't think the Democrats care at all about this country. In fact, I think they're actively trying to hurt it.

It's not @SaintsInDome2006's fault that he's a sheep. The line in the article says that Trump was asked about AMERICAN auto makers, but the link they share (hoping sheep like him don't click on it), clearly is titled "Trump says he ‘couldn’t care less’ if foreign automakers raise prices due to tariffs" Politco.com purposefully mislead their readers.
-
Did the House Oversight Committee in 2022, chaired by Democrats find any wrong doing in that?
-
Sounds like American politics. You know, the same thing you (nor your party/media), had no problem with when Biden, Obama, Clinton, etc, did it. Either we call it out ALL the time or don't pick and choose. If you want to stand on your pedestal of moral superiority, it's best to not be a hypocrite. Personally, I have less of a problem with Trump because the everyday American public can benefit from this as well. What the Democrats have done, only helps the party, the media, and their big donation contributors.
-
According to your link, this is the headline: "Trump says he ‘couldn’t care less’ if foreign automakers raise prices due to tariffs" Looks like Trump was actually asked about the coast of FOREIGN cars, not American. I agree with Trump's agenda. Foreign car companies will raise their prices and people will buy American. Sounds good to me.

Just like the Hunter Biden "art", it's legal money laundering/kickbacks for towing the company line.

No it isn't, it's being skeptical. HTH I don't have a problem with the idea of EV's, I have issues with the current makeup. That's not mocking. Dumbazz.
