I'm sorry, I thought you just said.... "When the authorities behave in an immoral fashion, the public has a duty and moral right to resist ." The Jan 6ers resisted. Maybe that was someone else who made that post. My bad, if it wasn't you. -

I think it's funny that when people on January 6th did it, he called them domestic terrorists, but when his side is doing it, it's justified. -

LOL, there actually people who claim to be "educated", and they don't know (common sense), than an outsider has no right to intervene with a law enforcement official from doing their job. -

Gaines is talking about men in women sports, that's the context. You're extending her view on men in sports to be her view on it globally. Show me a non-sports related quote by Gaines about transgenders. -

I was speaking general, not specifics. I don't believe in God, but I don't have issues with anyone who does nor do I think they're nuts, nor do I say they're wrong. -

Yes. Because you're ignoring context. -

Pre-Civil War Democrats: We need slaves to pick our crops to keep our costs down. Republicans: Tough crap, pick your own crops or hire people and pay them a regular wage Current day Democrats: We need illegal immigrants to pick our crops to keep our costs down. Republicans: Tough crap, pick your own crops or hire people and pay them a regular wage Yet, Republican's are the racists. Oh wait, they "switched sides"... even though the takes from both sides are still the same (you're not supposed to notice that, so look away). -

Exactly. He's pretending his opinions are facts. He's not a serious person. -

He can't. He knows he's wrong so he keeps either moving goal posts, altering people's comments (and addresses those), or pretends that certain facts are in play when they're not. He acts like a 10 year old. Treat him as such. Address the points and then when he goes off the deep end with his clenched fists, let him stew in his own misery while he pretends he's right. -
UPDATE: New team for Mr. Rodgers - Pittsburgh

Exactly. That's why I couldn't care less when a reporter doesn't like an athlete or coach or anything. To me, the more reporters that are mad at someone, I like that person more. -

I'm ok with that. He doesn't deal with their bs. The majority of the media is bs and not really a lot of substance. For example, after Todd Bowles was named Bucs Head Coach, Jenna Lane asked him about being one of only 2 black HC's in the league. He brushed it off saying it's about his performance, not race. Rick Stroud (I think), followed up with another race related question that he brushed off. Jenna Lane, ever the persistent idiot, doubled down and asked him about his relationship with Mike Tomlin, "as the other black coach". Seriously, why bother with those people? The vast majority of questions that the media asks is about what makes the reporter look good and not what the fans, players, or teams care about. -
That's definitely part of the reason, but not the whole story. It's why I said crappy "offense". He did have over 80 receptions and 1000 yards... he just only had 2 TD's. If he had 7, that's another 30 points and he's WR16 and a quality WR2... in a "down" year. In part and parcel, their hope was that Trey Palmer would be an excellent slot receiver (why, I have no idea), but that got corrected last year. The rest of the reason is that their OLine wasn't that good and run game sucked. Pass blocking, they ranked 16th and run blocking ranked 30th. Their rushing game ranked dead last. Tampa ranked 20th in scoring that year because they weren't very efficient as a whole.

Exactly. Chris Godwin is the epitome of this. 2019 (played 14 games), finished the season as WR2 overall points 2020 (played 12 games), finished the season as WR15 fpg. 2021 (played 12 games), finished the season as WR7 fpg. 2022 (played 15 games... played game 1, missed 2 & 3), from weeks 4-18, finished as WR7 overall points. 2023 (played full season), finished as WR 28 in overall points. Crappy offensive season. 2024 (played 7 games), From weeks 1 through 7, was WR2 overall... only 0.3 points behind Ja'Marr Chase. Heading into 2025, ADP he's WR34. Why? Because "availability is the most important ability". Since 2019, you can assume Chris Godwin will be a top 15 WR in games he plays... likely to be a WR1. Why are 33 other guys going in front of him?
-
When you posted this, I had to look to see where Nix was bring projected and thinking 'he's being over drafted?'. I was surprised to see is ADP in the top 10 (8, I think?). I can see Nix finishing between 10 and 15, but I'd probably draft him around 12 or 13. Did they really do anything offseason to improve their offense other than a 2nd RB? I think Daniels pays off unless he gets hurt.
-
I don't disagree with you. I was merely commenting on his initial post of "availability being the best ability", being overused. I initially said that I think he's oversimplifying, but in retrospect, I think he's just hearing way more often than I think he his... or at least, hearing it way more often than I do. I don't think I hear that phrase more than 2 or 3 times a year, and in those circumstances, they're comparing like players to justify why Player A over Player B, as the deciding factor. The rest about injuries/injury prone, I'm just having fun with @nobody, that's all.
-
Well, no one is comparing Mahomes to Richardson in the first place. If they are, then they're idiots, and the discussion about availability would be moot. If they're using that saying in that context (Mahomes/Richardson), you are correct... I just don't think people are. Well, at least to the extent you think so, but I could be wrong. I only ever hear it when the discussion is about 2 (or more), similar players. Like I said previously, Mayfield / Tua would be an apt comparison. Another one could be Henry / McCaffrey. Nobody: "Just say the guy gets injured too much." Nobody (2028): "Hot take: Why is the phrase 'the guy gets injured too much', overused"? To note, I've heard many people say 'How come everyone says players are 'Injury prone'? Everyone in the NFL gets injured. It's so overused'.
-
Ah yes, the old 'I know you are but what am I' response. Well done. I believe this confirms you being in an elementary school.

I've found that the majority of times that people make "Bold" predictions, it's to have absurd takes and not be held accountable for ones they get wrong, but boast for the one or two they get right.

Jefferson was ranked that high with Sam Darnold.
