    My post was a joke. I don't believe God exists, just like I don't believe that Mother Nature exists.
  2. I think a heavy fine and house arrest & probation is a reasonable expectation. That said, I put nothing past the liberals (politicians/activists/judges).
  3. I'd bet against it, but I wouldn't be shocked. I think the media and politicians will be a bigger threat than the public. The origin of this tangent was if a jurist wrote a book. We were just pointing out that historically, the Left is way more violent than the Right.
  4. Nice to see someone on the left admits that they're for political prosecutions.
  5. Doesn't matter... he'll be in the White House in January.
  6. Hung jury would be ok, because that would give them the opportunity to try him again.
  7. Correct. They have fear from the Left for a non-guilty verdict. Substantially more fear from the left than the right, history has proven that.

    God is incorrectly faulted and praised for good and bad weather.... that's all on Mother Nature.

    Bill Walton died

    I would definitely put Lanier ahead of Walton.
  10. My guess is yes. They don't want him on the campaign trail.
  11. History has proven this to be undeniable.
  12. Most likely, the opposite is true. The vast majority of Trump voters expect him to be found guilty in the kangaroo court, so that verdict is expected. It would be from the violent left who fully expect the rigged trial to produce the results they want, that the jurists should fear with a non-guilty verdict.

    Bill Walton died

    Fair enough, but it was before my time, and that last sentence is where I'm at. Sure, he was great, but for like 2 years. Sorry, but in basketball, that doesn't cut it with me.

    Best All Time Action Movie

    Agreed, but T2 wasn't on the list... also, doesn't change my answer.

    Best All Time Action Movie

    Terminator. Not even close. Die Hard is definitely a firm 2nd.

    The worst umpire of all time retires

    Fans should sue MLB for racial discrimination for having enough evidence to fire him, but didn't.

    Bill Walton died

    Terrible broadcaster, over-rated player, but from all accounts a truly great dude. R.I.P.

    Which team would you rather have?

    1, 8, 9... in that order.

    Caitlin Clark debut

    Well, baseball and football are different because everyone fully expects multiple years for the player to really take off. With basketball, the vast majority of great players come out their freshman year, coming off a "solid", not multiple jaw dropping seasons. On top of that, with football, the college players have the same time off. The basketball players have more, and so do baseball, with respect to their pro leagues. Clark just finished her college season 6 weeks ago.

    NCAA = rooned?

    Like 15 to 20% https://www.collegeraptor.com/college-rankings/details/SportsProfitability University of Iowa, in 2022 made a total profit of $37M. The biggest sport was football, at $14M. That $37M ranked 13th in country that year. If you notice, Alabama is 11th overall at $52.6M with football leading the way at only $6M.

    NCAA = rooned?

    Never happen. Ticket prices will increase, merchandise costs will increase, concessions will increase, etc. The biggest losers of money are women's sports. A few years ago, I read an article that said only UConn, Tennessee, Notre Dame, and South Carolina women's programs make money... every other women's team across the board, loses a LOT of money. Title IX will make it virtually impossible for schools to drop programs. Even if they do drop some, the impact will be pennies on the dollar, so it wouldn't be worth the effort.

    NCAA = rooned?

    I don't mean demand literally, I mean it in terms of supply and demand. Because there are only a few conferences worth a dam, the selling price for the Networks to buy the broadcast rights will just go up. So, if the SEC was asking for $50M (example only), per year for 10 years from 2015-2024, instead of the asking price being say, $75M per year from 2025-2034, it'll be $100M. They could only get this at the end of the contract. They obviously can't do it mid-way through.
