I know teams will do stupid things, but at this point, I think everyone knows the "buyer beware" tag associated with Johnson at this point. Spotrac.com have his market value guestimated at 3 yr/$30M. That's likely before the drama. I'm guessing the maket value, at best, will be half of that. I don't think that will move the needle on a compensatory pick. But, as you noted, it only takes one desperate team.

I seem to recall a nation-wide call for change at the government level, around 4+ years ago even though, "I would venture a guess that is probably less than a fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population. Like we are talking numbers that are in the single digits." Mayors, governors, senators, and HoR's were running on that very agenda. Weird how that was a legitimate grip, but this is essentially 'ho hum', huh? Apparently only the left is allow to make a national issue out of only "fraction of a fraction of a percent of the population".

This has nothing to do with separation of church and state. This apparently isn't a school/BOE sponsored/run club, it's a student organization. I see no reason to stop this from happening. It's no different than a Satanist club, Pride Club, or any other religions club.

Engram should be fine. He wasn't really lighting it up with Lawrence. I have him in 2 leagues and he gets me 8 to 12 points most weeks, which is fine. Yeah, he had a 20 point game with Lawrence, be he also had a 1 catch 5 yard game (W1). In Jones' 2 starts, Engram got 10 & 7 and on Sunday, he got 11. When Lawrence left the game, Engram only had 1 catch for 3 yards. Copernicus, was it not? (even though you didn't ask me)

Compensatory picks are based on money and playing time. This is now 3 teams in 6 months who are sick of him. What makes anyone think Johnson's going to get a big money deal. My guess is that he gets a 1 year $3M deal. That's not going to get them anything.
