Ok, let's put your system to the test. Tyler Bass is about to kick a FG. The snap comes and it's fumbled by the holder. Bass picks the ball up and runs it in for a TD. Who gets the points?
-
When is a "WR" on the field? True or False: It's when the "offense" is on the field.
-
I think what you put is the exact opposite of sportsmanship. Herm Edwards said it perfectly, "You play to win the game". If changing your lineup to ensure your lead and guarantee your win, that's playing to win the game, which is the objective in fantasy football... score the most points. Purposefully starting a player who's either out or on a bye because you don't want to drop someone is douchey because you're playing a man (or two), down on purpose and willing to accept a loss. That's a lack of integrity to the league. You're willing to hand over a win to someone at the expense of other teams. THAT's unsportsmanlike.
-
It is, if you ignore the purpose of special teams to make your argument.
-
I explained the answer to both of your questions in my post. When teams run the trick play, who's on the field? The offense right... not the special teams? When Taysom Hill lines up at RB or QB, he's doing that while on offense, right? Or is he doing that on special teams. If your league is set up that way fine. It's your league and you can set it up however you like, but like I said, it's to appease the crybabies.
-
What do you think his value is? What would you expect in return?
-
I think it makes no sense to give a wide receiver points when he's on the field in another role. When a player is on the punt or kick return team, he's on the field as a special teams player... hence, anything he gets, is as a special teamer. If you draft a "Wide Receiver", he's not a "Wide Receiver" when he's fielding kicks or punts. Making a rule for this is simply catering to crybabies. The fallacy here is that 1 person can get points twice, for the same score. That makes no sense. Either the special teams gets the points or the return man gets the points.

Outside of a QB being given or not given a TD because there may have been a mistake with a pass or handoff on these dump off's/pitches, I don't imagine anything being fixed much more than a point, from a RB/WR/TE perspective. Meaning, a reception being given or taken away (as in the scenario I just noted). Basically, if it's a RB/WR/TE, I can see really only 1 point. For a QB, could be 7+.
-
Then I'd keep them in there. There's a significantly high chance that the Bills defense at worst, gets only 0 points, so I think your win is safe. I'd take every point I can get if total points matter... you never know.
-
Is there any advantage to total points? If not, I'd bench them.

I think it's obvious that Lawrence is a horrible QB, but I love him... he keeps getting Engram the ball. -
SMF Discussion: Jaguars at Bears (London) - Week 6

Is it funny or sad that the Jags have spent over a decade trying to build a fan base in London, and even the Bears have a bigger gathering today than Jacksonville? -

I'll take that as throwing your gun. So weak minded you liberals are.

Just pointing out the liberal mindset... "It's (D)ifferent". All they're (and you), are doing is proving I'm right. -
Donald Trump displays severe cognitive impairment on stage in Detroit

5 years ago, Democrats said there's nothing wrong with this. Why is this different now? -
1. I didn't say whether they'd do it or not... he asked ME a question and I answered it for ME. 2. I'm talking about people, not politicians. Who are you talking about? Most politicians vote party line, regardless of their feelings. The Democrat party loves to "tell" you that they're moderate or not extremist or what have you... but virtually every bill they pass (they ALL vote for it), is pushing us further and further left. That's politics. I'm not sure how you can sit there and assign blame to one side and completely ignore that same aspect on the other side and condone their activity. 3. That's because you've been brainwashed. This is a you problem, not a Republican party/Trump problem. What policies by Republican's are there that you are soooo against? 4. Again, this is just you being a brainwashed too. Everyone knew YEARS AGO, not weeks or months, that Biden was gone. The Democrats purposefully waited until it was too late to pull the plug on Biden, so that they can slip Harris in without a vote. If the Democrats pulled the plug on Biden last December and said they were going to hold a primary, then all is well. Here's the thing, the DNC knew that if they did that, Harris wouldn't win. Why did they know that? Because she was one of the first to drop out in 2019. No one liked her. Gotta love her virtue signaling, she announced her candidacy in January of 2019 on MLK Jr Day (lol)... in 1 year, she had no where near enough campaign money, that she dropped out before voting started. California's primary was 1 month away and she wasn't even projected to get any delegates. Her OWN STATE didn't even like her. She's done nothing in the last 4 years to become likeable. Nothing. Her own party knew that... again, that's why they didn't want her to run in a primary, because they knew she would lose. Trump at WORST, is where Biden was 4 or more years ago.
-
I thought your statement was an "in general statement". Now, if you're specifically talking about weather, then no, I haven't heard anyone on the left say they control the weather... but on the topic of climate change, I believe virtually every Democrat is an extremist because I believe that anyone who thinks we are in a climate "crisis", is an extremist.
-
He evidently doesn't think "The Squad" are extremists.
-
Mantra of the Left: I didn't know Biden's brain was cooked 4 years ago, but I know that Trump's is now. LOL What an ignorant group of wasted space.
-
Is "non sequitur BS" a phrase you're using instead of "facts I don't want to discuss because it proves I'm a scum bag leftist"? No need to respond to that question, I know the answer is "yes". Your stance, as well as every other liberal piece of crap in this thread is 100% based on "Yeah, but...." Keep voting Left Comrade.

Couldn't care less about the opinions of jackazzes like you. The Democrats do this all the time, most recently, it's "Anyone who disagrees with Obama is racist". Republican's point out racist acts by Democrats and say "Well, you made these claims, why can't we?" The response is "Well, that was wrong and it shouldn't have been done". Right, because it served it's purpose and you don't want Republican's to use it. Then, it was cancel culture. Republican's start doing it and Democrats are like, well, we were wrong and you shouldn't do it. Well, yeah... because it worked and it served it's purpose and you don't want Republican's doing it. At this point in time, Democrats have denied that Biden was gone mentally for years, now that pushing that off and subverting democracy worked, you want to call out Trump. Well, sorry. Fock off. People like you always say "Well, I never agreed with that", but no matter how many times it happens, you still vote for the people who keep doing it. There's never even clapback nationally. The media supports it too. In this country, we should be at the point where no Republican should have ANY respect for someone's opinions who votes for Democrats.

I don't know if that's sad or funny that you think that?
