There could be a legit reason why Mayfield stinks... that doesn't point directly to Mayfield himself. I don't know enough about the Browns to be positive on that front. I just know that when I see him play, he's just not any good. Not at all.

The mid-majors may be right and cancelling their seasons. They only make the real money when they agree to be the whipping boy for the major conferences. Outside of that, they're not very profitable... if at all. With the major conferences dumping their non-conference games, the mid's won't see that big money. A lot of the mid majors don't really make a lot from conference play.

When I say turnout, I'm talking about the 250k people who didn't vote for Clinton or Trump in 2016 that will now likely vote for either Biden or Trump.

Yeah, but I think turnout will be higher and the lack of Independents in this election is going to spread out those votes from 2016. There were over a 250k votes cast for Independent candidates. I'm just erring on the side of caution. I'm assuming Biden gets at least as many votes in MN as Clinton.

I think we all knew this was coming. I think the Pac-10 won't budge. Too many of the schools are in CA, WA, and OR. They're too liberal. They won't budge until after the election. They'll play an 8-game schedule starting on Nov 7th.

I can see this being more descriptive and positive for Trump. Clinton only won MINN by like 40k votes. If 700k are new gun owners, all it takes is 5% of them to switch sides to give Trump the win. Yeah, I know, 35k is still less than 40k. But I'm already of the opinion that there is going to be a big Trump turnout from police and their families who are going to vote for Trump that may have voted Independent or for Clinton in 2016. I don't think the states who voted for Trump in 2016 are going to flip, that's why I see Trump getting re-elected. But I think if a state like Minnesota flips, the election is over.

I don't disagree really. Your initial post that I replied to, you stated you don't see half of them voting for Biden. I agree. My point was that I didn't think the vast majority were going to vote for him anyway... even if they never did buy a gun. I'm willing to bet that about 4 to 4.5M of that 5M voted for Trump in 2016 and were going to vote for him again. As for the rest, 500k to 1M, they may not vote for anyone. I think in that group though, there were a good portion of Independents that were undecided and will likely vote for Trump in 2020. I'd say around that 100k you mention here. Possibly even more.

To be fair, the guy isn't wrong... Gallup is the 3rd WR. Gallup isn't as good as people think. His production last year was volume based, not talent based. His volume absolutely will drop this year. He had the worst catch% on the team who at least 25 targets last year. With Lamb there, Gallup is going to only be the guy where the team says "You... go deep". If the play is there, they'll throw it. The mass majority of the time though, it won't be. Me, if I had Gallup and this guy seems to want him really bad, I'd definitely try to get an over pay.

Stick with Carson. The Browns are going to stink this year because Mayfield stinks. They're going to be behind a lot and need to throw. Because of that, Hunt will be get more touches this year than Chubb. Carson is on a team that is going to win games. They're going to be in position score more TD's and Carson will be a part of that.

It doesn't matter where you came from, it matters on what you do. Inside the opponents 10 yard line: Fournette: 54 rush attempts, 15 TD's, 17 1D's, 5 Rec, 2 TD's, 3 1D's. Jones: 14 rush attempts, 7 TD's, 8 1D's. On 3rd/4th and short: Fournette: 46 att, 194 yards, 6 TD, 31 1D's, 6 rec, 11 yards, 2 1D. Jones: 13 att, 32 yards, 8 1D's, 2 rec, 11 yards, 1 1D. Considering that Fournette has 671 career rush attempts in his career and Jones 212, I'd say that Jones is at worst, just as good as Fournette.
