Great game! Double Overtime. Lakers down 1, 1 second left, Lebron drove and was fouled. He made both free throws to win it. Happy to see the Lakers get this hard fought win. D'Lo was huge, scored a lot, hit a huge 3 in transition late. Lebron 36, 20, and 12 Anthony Davis 29 and 13 D'Lo 28
  6. Earth's Obliquity Today Today, on January 28, 2024 at noon, Earth's axial tilt, or mean obliquity was 23.43615° or 23°26'10.1". Earth's mean obliquity today is about 0.00001°, or 0.04", less than 30 days ago. The Arctic and Antarctic circles today are 1.2 m (4 ft) closer to the poles, and the Tropic of Cancer and Tropic of Capricorn are equally closer to the equator than 30 days ago. Earth: The living planet The Tilt Changes In a repeating cycle that lasts about 41,000 years, Earth's axial tilt oscillates between 22.1 and 24.5 degrees. This change in obliquity is caused by gravitational forces from the Sun, the Moon, and other planets. Acts Like Two Spinning Tops Axial precession can be described as a slow gyration of Earth's axis about another line intersecting it. A complete wobble of Earth's axis takes around 26,000 years. It outlines the shape of a pair of cones or two spinning tops connected at the tips, which would be at the center of Earth. Ancient Discovery Greek astronomer Hipparchus of Nicea is historically credited as the man who first proposed that Earths axis gradually shifts, though very slowly. Hipparchus made his discovery around 130 BCE, based on comparisons of astronomical observations more than a century apart. https://www.timeanddate.com/astronomy/axial-tilt-obliquity.html Is this what you're talking about by polar shift and oval pattern? Or something else?

I'm just glad I don't have to listen to him talk during NBA games on TV anymore. Now if Stan Van Gundy would just go away, my NBA watching would be much improved.

Lakers @ Warriors just started. Warriors finally starting their best 5 players: Steph, Klay, Wiggins, Kuminga, Draymond. Lakers starting DeAngelo Ruseelll, Austin Reeves, Taureen Prince, Lebron, Anthony Davis Which one of these doesn't belong in the starting lineup (of any NBA team) ? Taureen Prince Lakers lose when he plays and wins when he's out hurt. He focking sucks and I hate him. Start Rui you dumbmotherfucker L.A. ooach Ham. This team could have a few years back had Ty Lue as coach. sad

Big year for QBs in the draft

I guess it's mainly just that I believe MH Jr. is a can't miss elite future HOF player, and I think J FIelds can be as good or better than Jalen Hurts and Lamar Jackson. Plus, the Bears could trade down one or two spots and get a haul for the #1 pick (like they did last year with Carolina who moved up to take Bryce Young). What if they take a QB #1 overall and he's a bust? They better be right if they draft a QB is all I'm saying. Also, a 2nd round pick for Justin Fields who could go on to be a starter for 10 years would not be wise.

Did you not see how many balls Darnell Mooney dropped or he just didn't get open enough or have a big enough catch radius?

This is a good listen. I agree with this. Keep Fields and draft Marvin Harrison Jr. - that's what would make the Bears the best team they can be.
