Why don't we have the name of the Blackhawk helicopter pilot?

I also didn't think he should have said that. -

Whatever. That didn't cost the lives of 73 people. -

I want to know how they didn't see it, and why they said they saw it. The ATC told them it was landing on runway 33. Is there a blind spot? I mean there is, because I've seen pictures/video of the inside of a black hawk helicopter. So many mistakes made by both the Helicopter Pilots and ATC although they let one of the other ATC leave early at peak runway times and had this poor guy covering airplane take-offs, airplane landings, and helicopters. So people in charge and people setting minimums on numbers of Controllers all focked up it seems. -

There was another big trade, not as big as this, but anyway, De'Aaron Fox to San Antonio. Zach Lavine and 3 first round picks to Sacramento. K Huerter and one first round pick to CHI (not sure about that part of it for Chicago, not good). -

I have always thought Kyrie and AD would be a great combo. -

AD in decline? I'd say he's having the best year of his career. I do understand the age thing and would much rather have Luka, but can see the Mavs making this deal if they thought Luka wouldn't want to stay in Dallas, but if they just wanted to trade him because they didn't want to pay him the super max for the reasons mentioned, they messed up. I'm guessing most of their fans are crushed. -
Plane crashes into Potomac near Reagan airport

This is a really good analysis of what happened and who all is to blame. -
He says right in that link that they got that other portion in weapons, not money. And also there was training and additional transport. So the entire headline of that twitter link is highly deceiving and basically a flat out lie.

Dallas Mavericks Trade Doncic for Lakers Anthony Davis

Whoa!!!!!!!!! This can't be true, can it? Why would the Mavericks do this? My favorite player Doncic on my favorite team the Lakers. I'll believe it if/when he's wearing a Lakers Jersey. -
Just to provide more clarity to how great a scope of news organizations work in the Pentagon building, "more than 2 dozen" is 25 or more.

More than two dozen news organizations operate out of the Pentagon.

This former pilot speaks out and he feels it's the fault of the Air Traffic Controller and he says what the ATC should have said to the helicopter instead of asking if they see a plane. He also says he thinks the black hawk pilot was wearing not vision goggles which distort things and that that also contributed to the collision. -

There have been a number of near misses of plane collisions during landings and take-offs. There's a problem, maybe multiple conditions that can lead to mid-air collisions. Not surprised this happened. -
Or by catapult, like this!

Plane crashes into Potomac near Reagan airport

Report: Tower asked Jet to change runways and they did alter their approach as directed by Air Traffic Control. The military helicopter was not broadcasting ASDB. The helicopter had a crew of 3 (per U.S. Official) and was not carrying any VIPs. US Army: Black Hawk was ours. Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) is a technology that allows aircraft to broadcast their position, altitude, and other information to ground stations and other aircraft. ADS-B broadcasts information once per second. Sikorsky Black Hawk helicopter collides mid-air with American PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 Flight from Wichita (while on approach to runway at Reagan Airport in D.C.). Both aircraft went into the water (the Potomac River). Immediate response initiated. -
Google says Gulf of Mexico will change to Gulf of America in Maps app:
Gepetto replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
The Gulf of Mexico has been it's most common name since the mid-17th century, when it was still considered a Spanish sea. French Jesuits used this name as early as 1672. In the 18th century, Spanish admiralty charts similarly labeled the gulf as "Mexican Cove" or "Mexican Sound" (Ensenada Mexicana or Seno Mexicano). I don't see why it should continue to be named what the Spanish named it and the French Jesuits called it. America encompasses both the United States of America and Mexico. Trump is President and he can name it. If you disagree, oh well, you're not the president, so you'll just have to deal with it.
