I mentioned in this thread this past weekend a financial analyst said Trump's plan is get major investments in treasuries and that the stock market would go down because of his tariff plan. This and cutting govt. waste are all part of a plan by Trump to enrich the US Govt because there is debt every year and a massive deficit.

My Roth 401K went UP 1/2% this week (March 31st to April 4th) and that does not include adding any money to it from my paycheck. I have all of my retirement Roth 401K in two bonds. Just one week, that's a pretty good increase, all while mutual funds and stocks went down over 10%. I have nothing in the stock market. I got out a few months ago where I had a few mutual funds before. So I did get the huge gains when the market was skyrocketing up, I still don't have as much as I'd like in retirement because I was only putting in 10% of my income in it for several years from when I started my career.

I see the laughing emoji on my post one above. What I wrote is not from me, it's from a financial advisor who speaks on the radio once a week, who has looked into this. He said this on Wednesday of this week on the radio.

It's all part of Trump's plan. He wants the market to go down so that people will sell stocks and use that money to purchase US Treasuries. DOJ goal to cut a trillion dollars in spending, tariffs to bring in revenue to the US Govt. Then more jobs in the USA for people in the middle class, all will result in prosperity in a year or so from now.

I say let them feel normal. Cigarettes and Alcohol I consider a different category than pop and candy. I say allow it, so they can get a package of M&Ms and Coke Zero (or whatever) if they want to and it makes them just a little bit happier. Although, not ideal, a full size Snickers bar (or Twix or whatever) could be just what they need to get through a rough day. I don't know, maybe I'm wrong, but that's my current opinion.

The Stock Market has been way overvalued. These companies weren't worth the values their stocks were selling for. Much needed correction, probably more correction still needed and still to come.

Job growth was expected because Spring and then Summer on the way.

Jobs added is up double what was expected. This fear about tariffs is going to bring future great buying opportunities in the market.
