Riley Leonard was drafted by the Colts.

I mean I guess they were popular, but I don't think that should be a reason to be in the R&R HOF, although it's a HOF I don't even care about. Wasn't a fan of the White Stripes myself.

http://news.yahoo.com/blogs/ticket/pakistani-doctor-helped-cia-osama-bin-laden-jailed-162306132.html The Pakistani doctor who helped the CIA find Osama bin Laden has been sentenced to 33 years in jail for treason. Shakil Afridi, 48, had been accused of running a fake hepatitis B vaccination program, collecting DNA samples reportedly used by U.S. intelligence officers to track bin Laden to Abbottabad, where Navy SEALs killed him in a raid on his compound last year. A tribal court found Afridi guilty of "acting against the state," The New York Times reported. He was sentenced to 33 years in prison and a fine of 320,000 Pakistani rupees, or $3,477, a government official said. Afridi, who was arrested shortly after bin Laden's killing, was sentenced under tribal laws and will serve his jail term in Peshawar in northwestern Pakistan. Tribal laws do not carry the death penalty for treason. According to Reuters, the sentence is "almost certain to further strain ties" between Washington and Pakistan. Following the raid, U.S. officials raised suspicions that Pakistani intelligence may have sheltered bin Laden in Abbottabad. The raid "humiliated" Pakistan, which saw it as a violation of its sovereignty. "Afridi's prison term could complicate efforts to break a deadlock in talks over the re-opening of land routes through Pakistan to U.S.-led NATO forces in Afghanistan, which are crucial for supplies," Reuters said. In January, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta "confirmed that the United States had been working with Dr. Afridi while trying to confirm the location of Bin Laden's compound in Abbottabad," the Times said. "For [Pakistan] to take this kind of action against somebody who was helping to go after terrorism, I just think is a real mistake on their part," Panetta said, according to the paper. According to the BBC, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton had also called for Afridi's release "on the grounds that his work served Pakistani and American interests."

I'm not saying Cleveland should just anoint Shedueur #1 and they won't do that. I agree with how you say it could play out. Flacco was great during the regular season, but then he blew it in that playoff game. He throws too many INTs. Shedeur does not. It's a whole new level for Sanders so it will be fun to watch how he plays when he gets a chance.

I think he's QB1 on Cleveland.

Pakistan is an enemy of the United States of America

Update on the original post: Shakil Afridi, who once was celebrated by America for his role in tracking down Osama bin Laden, has spent almost 14 years in solitary confinement in Pakistani prisons. Confined to a cell smaller than his own 6-foot frame, with no ventilation and no working toilet, his existence has been reduced to a slow, agonizing descent into obscurity. -
Good point. This is what I'm thinking too. If the Browns want him, and I think they should I think they should use their 1st pick in round 2 because otherwise I see the Raiders trading up above Cleveland's 4th pick of round 2 to take him.

Who do you think drafts Shedeur Sanders now? Browns? Raiders? Saints? Jets? Some other team, if so which team? Round 2 order Pick (OVR)Player 1 (33) Browns 2 (34) Texans 3 (35) Titans 4 (36) Browns 5 (37) Raiders 6 (38) Patriots 7 (39) Bears 8 (40) Saints 9 (41) Bears 10 (42) Jets

Trump said he would stop the war in 24 hours if he became president. He said this while running for office. He got elected president. He didn't stop the war in 24 hours. He's still trying. No one should believe he could 100% be able to end the war in 24 hours. No reason to keep discussing the 24 hour talk. Unless you just want to keep repeating it.

Yes, I had 114 tied for 2nd in preliminary results. I almost put McMillan in between 7 and 10 instead of Tyler Warren. Cost me first.

Trump has been asked about he 24 hours he would end the Ukraine-Russian war was sarcasm.

You're wrong. Lutherans for one, do not follow the pope, care what he says. He has no bearing on how Lutherans run their churches, pray, or believe in God.

Will Trump Supporters tolerate the Dow closing below 38,000?

He adjusted the standard deduction way up so that many people no longer needed to itemize because the standard deduction route resulted in lower tax, although my tax went up slightly, it was negligible. -

Gepetto replied to Engorgeous George's topic in The Geek Club
I actually did that. Trump changed the tax code in his first term so that the deduction was no longer helpful. Still, I think it’s better to pay it off and eliminate debt. Interest rates for CDs had dropped to like close to 1%. They’re much better now of course. You have a good argument. Those high monthly mortgage payments suck though. -

Dallas Mavericks Trade Doncic for Lakers Anthony Davis
Gepetto replied to Strike's topic in The Geek Club
Dallas Mavericks are playing the Memphis Grizzlies tonight. Winner gets into the playoffs. Memphis leads 108 - 91 with 7 minutes left in the 4th. Anthony Davis went to the bench grabbing the back of his right upper calf. The announcer said they've seen him grab his left knee, he's been dealing with a groin injury this game, and low back. AD has 38 points and 9 rebounds so far so he is still playing at an elite level. -

another plan to assassinate President Donald Trump (and possibly VP Vance too) - arrest made
Gepetto posted a topic in The Geek Club
https://abcnews.go.com/US/wisconsin-teen-allegedly-killed-parents-extremist-plot-assassinate/story?id=120750496 Wisconsin teen allegedly killed parents in extremist plot to assassinate Trump, FBI says Nikita Casap, 17, is accused of killing his mother and stepfather. A Wisconsin teen allegedly killed his parents to "obtain the financial means and autonomy necessary" to kill President Donald Trump and overthrow the U.S. government, federal authorities said in court documents. Nikita Casap, 17, was arrested in March and charged with two counts of first-degree murder and two counts of hiding a corpse, according to Waukesha County authorities. Other charges include theft of property over $10,000 and misappropriating ID to obtain money. Court documents show investigators are pursing federal charges including conspiracy, presidential assassination and use of weapons of mass destruction. The teen's stepfather, Donald Mayer, 51, and mother, Tatiana Casap, 35, were both found dead inside their home by the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department on March 1, according to a press release from the department. The sheriff's department issued a search warrant and say they found material on the teen's phone related to "The Order of Nine Angles," which is "a network of individuals holding new-Nazi racially motivated extremist views," according to investigators. The Federal Bureau of Investigation reviewed documents allegedly written by the teen, which calls for the assassination of Trump and the start of a revolution to "save the white race," according to federal court documents. The alleged writings shows images of Adolf Hitler with the following text: "HAIL HITLER HAIL THE WHITE RACE HAIL VICTORY," according to court documents. "He was in touch with other parties about his plan to kill the President and overthrow the government of the Unites States. And he paid for, at least in part, a drone and explosives to be used as a weapon of mass destruction to commit an attack," investigators said in the federal affidavit. "Other parties, with whom Casap was in contact, appear to have been aware of his plan and action and to have provided assistance to Casap in carrying them out," according to the affidavit. Casap was in court on April 9 for a preliminary hearing on his state charges. He has not yet offered a plea and remains in custody. His next court appearance is for an arraignment on May 7, according to the Waukesha County court docket. -
