I want to know how they didn't see it, and why they said they saw it. The ATC told them it was landing on runway 33. Is there a blind spot? I mean there is, because I've seen pictures/video of the inside of a black hawk helicopter. So many mistakes made by both the Helicopter Pilots and ATC although they let one of the other ATC leave early at peak runway times and had this poor guy covering airplane take-offs, airplane landings, and helicopters. So people in charge and people setting minimums on numbers of Controllers all focked up it seems.

AD in decline? I'd say he's having the best year of his career. I do understand the age thing and would much rather have Luka, but can see the Mavs making this deal if they thought Luka wouldn't want to stay in Dallas, but if they just wanted to trade him because they didn't want to pay him the super max for the reasons mentioned, they messed up. I'm guessing most of their fans are crushed.

This former pilot speaks out and he feels it's the fault of the Air Traffic Controller and he says what the ATC should have said to the helicopter instead of asking if they see a plane. He also says he thinks the black hawk pilot was wearing not vision goggles which distort things and that that also contributed to the collision.

There have been a number of near misses of plane collisions during landings and take-offs. There's a problem, maybe multiple conditions that can lead to mid-air collisions. Not surprised this happened.
