I believe it's been put out in the news that the virus that causes COVID-19 has genetics in it that do not exist in nature and the conclusion is it came from the Wuhan lab.

Monk is upset she didn't stop at 100, a nice even number, tells her she now has to do 899 more. -
I have a thought on what these are. Google or similar company videotaping and taking photographs of neighborhoods for google maps or bing maps or just for government spying and the government knows and is good with it but is purposely not telling the public. Just a possibility. Another possibility is private companies in the US or the US Military testing new drones for future military arsenal. Could also be flying drone cars https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EVTOL doing test runs.

I share the same thoughts as you wrote.

A field goal percentage on dunk attempts is typically considered to be very high, often around 70% or higher because dunking is considered one of the most reliable ways to score in basketball, meaning that most dunk attempts are successful. -

Happy they lost. I could see Jerry keeping the coaches if they went on a winning streak with a backup QB.

https://www.tmz.com/2024/12/09/unitedhealthcare-ceo-murder-person-of-interest-luigi-mangione-exceptionally-kind-friends-say/ Luigi Mangione, who has been named a person of interest in the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson, has been described as an all-around good guy ... this according to his friends. Sources close to Mangione tell TMZ ... they don't have anything negative to say about the person of interest -- though, some had some not-so-nice things to say about his family. (More on that later on!!!) One pal described LM as "an exceptionally kind and compassionate friend" ... and made a point to highlight that Mangione, who attended University of Pennsylvania, is a "very intelligent" individual. We spoke with another one of Mangione's acquaintances, who revealed he was in the same fraternity as LM -- Phi Kappa Psi -- but admitted they didn't interact too frequently. Still, the source remembered Mangione as a normal guy ... who didn't have any notable health issues -- which some have speculated could've been a possible motivation in the crime. While Mangione has had nothing but his praises sung in the aftermath of being named a person of interest, we're told his family has quite a different reputation. Another person familiar with the Mangione family tells TMZ ... they are very wealthy and well-known across Maryland -- where LM grew up -- as they own several businesses in the state, including various senior and assisted living homes. According to one ex-employee who worked for the family for over 10 years, they are hard to work for ... with the former staffer noting that they're "very harsh" with employees and expect a lot. The person says most of the Mangione family is still based in Maryland ... with Luigi being the notable exception to move out of state. -

The surname Mangione is Italian and originated as a nickname for someone who was a glutton, meaning "big eater". The word mangione comes from the Italian word mangiare, which means "to eat". -

Someone on the news after this happened said this type of shooting in this area almost never occurs, likely because of the number of people around all of the time and the number of cameras. -

Oh interesting, from that article Tech whiz Luigi Mangione, 26, originally from Towson, Md., apparently hated the medical community because of how it treated his sick relative, sources said, Mangione had a particularly personal reason to hate the medical community — its treatment of an ailing relative, sources said. Online obituaries show he lost a grandmother in 2013 and grandfather in 2017. His LinkedIn page indicates that he once worked in an assisted-living facility for the elderly for a few months in 2014, while still in high school. , so it seems it wasn't just an ideological killing but personal as well. Just like I predicted. -

The worst is the people that are usually wrong like this but act like they're always right and like they're smarter than those that disagree and even criticize and tell others that disagree their stupid, but time and time again these type of people are proven wrong. -

They got the gun too and said it's a ghost gun likely 3D printed. Biden pledged to continue the mission against ISIS and to ensure the security of detention facilities in Syria that hold ISIS fighters. "We're clear-eyed about the fact that ISIS will try to take advantage of the new vacuum to reestablish its capability and create a safe haven. We will not let that happen," Biden said. link

Oh, you're right she does. I just read somewhere else that linked them to spring up from Al Quada though. https://www.cnn.com/world/live-news/syria-civil-war-12-08-2024/index.html (lower left hand bullet point: The leader of the main rebel group, Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, called the toppling of Assad a “victory for the entire Islamic nation” in his first public remarks in Damascus. The rebels — led by Jolani’s HTS group, which was formed out of an Al Qaeda affiliate — have said minorities will be protected. And also from the article with the headline: With rebels now in control of Damascus, what's next for the war-weary nation Syria’s armed opposition ultimately plans to form a government defined by institutions and a “council chosen by the people,” Abu Mohammad al-Jolani, the militant figure driving the latest rebel swing, told CNN. He heads the dominant group in the coalition, Hayat Tahrir Al-Sham (HTS), a former Al Qaeda affiliate. So I don't really know what is correct.
