Vice President Kamala Harris has reportedly taken the lead over President Donald Trump in seven key battleground states, according to the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll released on Tuesday (July 30). Harris, the presumptive Democratic nominee, is reported to have an 11-point lead on Trump in Michigan, a two-point lead in Nevada, a two-point lead in Arizona and a two-point lead in Wisconsin, while the former president leads the vice president by four points in Pennsylvania and two points in North Carolina. Both candidates are currently tied at 47% in Georgia. The new poll, which surveyed 4,973 voters from July 24-28, also has Harris leading by a 48% to 47% advantage nationally. The survey shows a significant change from Trump holding a lead over President Joe Biden in all of the swing states, as was reported in various polls conducted before Biden announced his decision to end his re-election campaign.
