The Religion of Peace Strikes Again-Australian Ediition
Gepetto replied to Mr Fantasy's topic in The Geek Club
The two brothers are Isaac and Ishmael, sons of Abraham, who are foundational figures in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam (the Abrahamic faiths); Isaac, son of Sarah, is the ancestor of Israelites (Judaism/Christianity), while Ishmael, son of Hagar, is the ancestor of Arabs and a prophet in Islam, with both stories highlighting Abraham's covenant and God's blessings. Isaac and Ishmael, Abraham's sons, had a strained relationship, primarily initiated by Ishmael (older) "mocking" or "persecuting" toddler Isaac, leading Sarah to demand their expulsion; they later reunited briefly to bury their father, Abraham, with scripture sparse on their interactions, but traditions highlight their differing paths—Ishmael representing human effort (wild, free) and Isaac the promised blessing (faith, covenant), symbolizing ongoing spiritual contrasts between different spiritual paths. God designated Isaac as the heir for His covenant, leading to a complex situation where Abraham eventually sent Ishmael and his mother Hagar away, though God promised to make Ishmael a great nation too, showing divine favor for both lines, but a unique path for Isaac. Abraham's distress over banishing Ishmael shows his love for him, but his obedience to God's command to focus on Isaac for the covenant's continuation highlights a divine preference for Isaac's lineage. -
I'm just going to say everything from Pink Floyd is Top 10 plus. Everything else focking sucks.

Christmas movies 2025 - What, if any have you watched this season?

This is a Netflix original animated movie available streaming exclusively on Netflix. I watched the trailer, it does look good. I don't have Netflix though unfortunately. Thanks for the recommendation. -

Gepetto replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
I was just researching Christmas movies because I got to thinking about it and there is a severe lack of good Christmas movies, especially in the last 15 to 20 years. Amazing to me that there is not enough creativity to at least create one good Christmas movie each year and one all time great Christmas movie every 3 to 5 years. -

Don't you think the Professor's assignment was completely pro LGBTQ and a Left/Liberal position from the get go? -
I wasn't stating my opinion. Officially per the Arizona Cardinal's coach: Fri, Dec 5, 11:09 AMROTOWIRE.COM Murray's foot injury isn't improving and he won't play again this season, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon made the announcement Friday, confirming what many already expected. He didn't say if Murray will need surgery, nor did the coach comment on expectations for Murray's future (or lack thereof) with the Cardinals. Jacoby Brissett will continue making starts for Arizona, to the delight of anyone relying on TE Trey McBride or WR Michael Wilson in fantasy.

Nebraska already fired their D-coordinator. Now they fired Donovan Raiola the O-line coach, and already hired Georgia Tech's O-line coach Geep Wade to replace him. G Tech's o-line gave up 9 sacks all year, 5th best in the entire country. Yea!
-
Kyler Murray won't be back this year. Jacoby Brissett has been playing well so this helps the passing game.

I'm not watching Alabama vs Georgia. The announcers way over hype everything, the crowd's loud, and I hate the old overplayed music the Georgia band plays. I hate both of these teams with a passion as well. "Get off my lawn". I'm watching The Lowdown FX original show. I'm on episode 4 now, it's a pretty good series so far.

Charlie Kirk's life's work and beliefs and organization brought this to light. Fulnecky's complaint to the administration went viral after the school's chapter of Turning Point USA, a conservative group founded by Charlie Kirk, who was assassinated in September, posted about Fulnecky's experience on the social media site X. "Professors like this are the very reason conservatives can't voice their beliefs in the classroom," the group posted. Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt appeared to affirm that perspective, posting on X that the situation was "deeply concerning." "I'm calling on the OU regents to review the results of the investigation & ensure other students aren't unfairly penalized for their beliefs," he wrote. -

Rico Dowdle has been trying to overcome a quadriceps injury by playing through it for the last 3 or 4 weeks. The Panthers are incentivized for Hubbard to get more playing time as Rico Dowdle is close to unlocking performance payouts.

I thought Kyren Williams got dinged up. I still see Kyren Williams as the primary runner and Corum as not a concern.

A good plot. AI: A good plot requires a strong narrative structure with five key parts: exposition (introducing characters and conflict), rising action (building tension and complications), climax (the highest point of intensity and turning point), falling action (conflicts begin to resolve), and resolution (tying up loose ends and concluding the story). Other essential elements include compelling characters, engaging conflict, and an immersive setting that all work together to create an emotional connection for the reader.

Where's Horseman? He could give advice on how to earn $500k plus per year.
