Based on a 5 minute google search I would suggest opening your boxes outside. https://callwaynes.com/blog/how-to-get-rid-of-german-roaches/ Packages from online retailers are notorious for bringing in these unwanted pests! So for your next Amazon order consider opening it outside and tossing the packaging ASAP! https://www.homeparamount.com/blog/are-german-cockroaches-lurking-in-your-packages

DOJ sues eBay for selling ‘rolling coal’ devices; fines could hit $2 billion
MTSkiBum replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
While these devices do allow you to configure your truck to roll coal, that is not why most people buy them. When a truck from 2007-2020ish suffer an emissions equipment failure these kits allow you to delete the emissions control equipment so you can then run your truck equivalent in pollution to a diesel truck from 2006. These delete kits are typically a few thousand cheaper than fixing the emissions control equipment. This is why these have a huge market, they are cheaper than fixing the equipment and after running a delete you will typically see a 2-3 mpg gain. There are a small sub-segment of people who purchase these to roll coal, ie they run the fuel/air mixture extremely rich for purpose of creating a giant black cloud behind them. These clouds stink and will hover around on a highway for almost a minute. The CNBC article makes it seem like these devices are only for rolling coal, but that is not the case. However, like I said previously I still support the DOJ going after sellers/installers. -

That may be true but these devices need to go. Going after the sellers is a good first step. -

Those devices only cause "rolling coal" when configured incorrectly. -

They increase fuel economy and make the truck more reliable. Emissions equipment is a major problem on newer diesel trucks, it is not uncommon to have a emissions equipment failure that causes 5-10k in vehicle repairs. When that happens these delete kits are much cheaper than fixing the vehicle responsibly. The problem is not the consumer. It makes sense to install a delete kit, other than the pollution issue. Emissions equipment has gotten more reliable, the problem with diesel emission system failures was primarily from 2007-2015ish. It took the big 3 a few years to figure out how to reliably making low emissions diesel, however the delete mentality still persists amongst many diesel owners. I support the government cracking down on these. We need to start improving air quality and diesel vehicle's emit significantly more pollution than a gas powered vehicle, specifically NOx, but particulates, SOx, and ozone as well. -
Where is your all hallows day tradition? If this was back in the days of the old geek club I would challenge you to a carving contest, 50 dollars and the geeks vote on who has a better pumpkin, but because of poster turnover recently......
-
Just one??
-
I carve one start to finish, however I also gut 3 other pumpkins and prep them for carving for my wife and kids. My brother and I have competitions every year. If I spend a lot of time I can carve something fairly complex. It just how much time I want to spend on pumpkins.

What question are you responding to in this thread?
-
He didnt invent the telegraph, he did invent the morse code.
-
So much about what we know of history is not true. Many people are credited with discoveries or inventions that they did not invent. Thomas Edison did not invent the lightbulb, henry ford did not invent the assembly line, etc, etc

Rao's spaghetti sauce was America's test kitchen top rated jar spaghetti sauce in a blind taste test of all major brands. I agree, it is top notch. However, the rest of their products seem to be average at best. I have tried the frozen pizza and frozen lasagna and both were average at best imo. I am not sure how your local grocery store looks on the inside, but HEB in Texas has some higher end frozen pizza's from local companies. These are the same price as the other frozen pizza's and the local places are usually much higher quality. I would imagine that the local frozen pizza in the north east would probably be better than the local frozen pizza down here in Texas. @Strike Tony's meat market makes their own sauces. The best sauce they make is sloppy joes, however they also make a top notch spagetti sauce as well. We bring box's of jars of sauces back with us to texas when we visit.

I sanded some drywall, installed a built in microwave, spent a few hours doing a deep clean of the house, and grilled twice. I also kind of went overboard when i went flashlight shopping, I wanted something that I could use to search for animals at night time. I ended up with this flashlight. For fun I took it to the swamp behind our house last night and was able to light up the area pretty good. We found lots of bunnies.

This is why the west is running out of water, nothing to do with population and everything to do with agriculture. Yet there is some retard in the state preventing new growth in Phoenix area if I remember correctly. -

Mayo - lettuce - and two slices of tomatoes on the top bun - 4 pickles, ketchup and enough onion so you can taste a bit in every bite on the burger. -
Sleep preference - Spermoff from JustStupid medicine thread

I have had terrible insomnia the last few weeks. I would easily pay a couple hundred dollars to sleep 8 hours tonight. To answer the question. I will set my alarm and hopefully it is what wakes me up. -
BTW theyve known Vicks, Sudafed, Dayquil do nothing since 1972

The good Sudafed still works, but you need to ask the pharmacist for it. -
The (OFFICIAL) What Do The Jets Do At QB ?
MTSkiBum replied to BeenHereBefore's topic in The Geek Club
I thought this is the official discussion where we discuss realistic outcomes. Arizona would take a huge cap hit to trade Murray, something like 100 million I believe. The realistic scenario is Zach Wilson. Teams don't want to give up good backup qb's because if the starter gets hurt then you are screwed. -

In season QB trades are rare. The most likely outcome is to stick with Zach Wilson. -

They even look like aliens that someone would imagine along with all necessary precautions against proving they are fake. They are fossilized, which DNA does not survive the fossilization process. -
