    Need trade help

Yes, a tier 1 and a tier 3 WR for a tier 2 WR and a RB i think is going to end up in the top 5 provided he stays healthy. Sounds like a good deal to me.

    two bad picks

I like adding Leon washington in an 18 man yahoo league, also if your research shows that Bell will be back week 1 he could be a good pickup also.

    Tricky Situation Pick

Its too tough to know who will be available to help you. Sorry. Start doing alot of tiering and projections. it probably is realistically round 5 as to what the adp is of round 4 of your league. I would try to guess on RB's and get a some keepers for next year and draft a QB later on. But if mcnabb returns to the form he was at last year than if you get him in the 4th in your league that would be a steal.

    Williams for TO

I drafted TO in the second round as my #1 WR ahead of Steve smith and marvin harrison, if i was the TO owner no way in hell would i accept that trade. TO was #1 in PPG in standard scoring leagues last year, this year he has a health finger, and shouldnt miss a game trying to kill himself. Plus he has another year playing with Romo. You can offer it, but i bet it isnt accepted.

    Is this Draft-day trade fair?

Its fair and shouldnt be overturned, you look like a paper champion now, and are in great position, but other teams do still have a shot.

Keeper dilema - due at Midnight Eastern

3 point passing TD, and the fact that this is your last year with Palmer, i would take AJ. No point in a stud QB in that system.

Keeper dilema - due at Midnight Eastern

in ppr AJ easy, in 6 point for passing TD non ppr Palmer easy. But i bet you are in neither of those scoring options. If i get this right, under your keeper rules you get to keep them forever where they are drafted? In that case i would go palmer, Palmer has 8-10 years left, and having him year in and year out for a 6th rounder just kind of sounds like a good deal. I dont know if you would be keeping AJ in a couple years, where i bet you will with palmer. As for the "win now" I have them split in a non ppr- 4 point passing TD situation.

Rate that draft. 12-man 2 keeper SA and LJ.

Mark clayton had a high ankle sprain, i did a typo in the post.

    One Spot to Fill

I would keep djax because i like rivers, and that gives you WR depth, which is important in a 3 WR setup.
  12. MTSkiBum

Rate that draft. 12-man 2 keeper SA and LJ.

I would drop Mike bell and pick up M Morris, M bell is already going to miss the first 3-4 weeks of the season, and Sapp has looked impresive enough to get back the #2 spot. I like the fact that you waited till the end to get a TE, but you reached on a kicker, Every kicker that finished top 10 in 2005 finished outside of it in 2006, you better hope that trend doesnt continue. Also micheal clayton suffered a high ankle sprain about a week ago............ Never a good thing for a WR.... You cant drop him, but i wouldnt expect much out of him the first 3-4 weeks.

    Rate my team

I just thought i would post my redraft team, not so much for other people to rate, because i am going to make my decision regardless of what you think, but to show you guys what my team, so you know whether you should take my advice or not. I decided to go RB WR WR, and then i stocked up on risk reward RB's, i expect most my risk/reward RB's to suck, i only need 1 to break out, and thats what i am hoping for this year. The WR's i went with are 2 that should make top 10. Even though that 50% of wr's drop out of top 10 every year, TO and wayne are the consistent guys. I also grabbed my QB and TE late, this is because there isnt much drop off in points per week in QB between a tier 2 and tier 3 QB, and every year i pull in either a tier 2 or 3 QB really late in the draft, and if for some reason i dont hit this year, i bet i get 2 of my RB's to hit, and then i will make a trade offer for a QB later on in the year. I wasnt going to pull crotchery except he fell to the 9th, well after his value. I was going to take a better QB there and wait on my 3rd WR(we only play 2) the last round, but i couldnt pass on him where he was. Standard Scoring-no ppr QB: Big Ben(Matt Shuab, Daunte Culpepper) RB: Addai, Caddy(Tatum Bell, Kevin Jones, Brandon Jackson, Morency, Betts, A-train) WR: TO, R Wayne, J Croctchery TE: Bo Scaife Def: Oakland- they play detroit week 1 and i do def by commitee on the waiver wire, last year i was 20 points under the #1 def. So there you go, now you know whether you should take my advice after you saw my redraft team, of course I have other teams, but this is the redraft league i care most about.

    #2 RB

Well, i like caddy better, because i think they each have the % of chance of succeeding, and you can get Caddy 2 rounds later, that means that you can get a stud WR and caddy, or you could get a solid WR and Benson. But if you have to chose between those 2 in a trade for instance i would go benson.

    wr help

I think Boldin has a higher percentage of finishing top 15 than either evans or Colston, but a lower percentage of finishing top 8 or stud status. Wisenhut is comparing him to ward, and is using him like he used ward in Pittsburgh. And if you look at the numbers ward usually put up it was around a 10-20 WR. So i think thats where he falls. Not as risk/reward.

    Trade offer? Need Tight End!

Nope i wouldnt. And there are decent TE options in your free agency i bet. Here are some options Eric Johnson Bo Scaife Daniel Owens Randy McMicheal David Martin next tier Either A smith or J stevens(depends on who gets the job) Greg olsen D Graham Matt Shobel- LJ smith probably doesnt play for a while i am thinking The reasons why you should never try to trade for a top TE is because every year 6 out of the top 12 fall out of the top 12. That means 6 more are moving in. Plus Gonzelez is only going to be an average #1 TE this year. 6-9 ish i imagine. A 6-9 TE on average gets 5.5 points per game. On average a #20 TE gets 3.5 points per game. Why would you weaken 2 positions just to get that extra 2 points per game. Horrible trade
  17. I had a long reply written up, but then the server farted right as i hit the submit button. The condensed version is there is no reason to have 2 kickers or TE's on your roster, unless you start 2, so i would drop scaife and Hanson right away. I like your WR's so i would get 2 RB's Dunn was named the starter the other day for Atlanta, so a starting RB out of free agency is always good. I would get him for sure, and not get too disapointed if he doesnt produce(most likely he wont, but you never know) he is still better than either a 2nd TE or 2nd kicker. Also i like Lendale white, IF he can win the starting job, Jeff fisher hates RBBC, and so if Lendale can win the starting job outright he could be a pretty decent option, this is because defenses that face the titans always spend at least 1 LBer spying young, this means he has 1 less LBer to run against than most people. But we wont know for another week if he gets the starting job. If he doesnt i would still hold on to him, and stash him for later this year, and moniter his situation to see if it looks like he has a shot at claiming it, if not dump him at about week 4-6 ish. Or keep him if you still have roster space.

    wr help

Last year he had a high-ankle sprain, thats a terrible injury for a WR, because it allows the player to play at 70% and is a fluke injury, and having a full year to recover makes that pretty much a non-issue. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/playerpag...NFL&id=4032 Thats tough to tell. I still would lean colston, but i would be more worried about the pick
  19. MTSkiBum

    wr help

I would go Colston. Boldin has moved into a run first offense, with a stud WR oppisite him, i dont think he has the potential to be top 8, i would expect his ceiling to be around the 8-15 spot, although i bet he has a higher percentage of hitting that, than either evans or colston, but I think Colston and evans each have a chance of breaking into the top 8. I think Colston has a higher percentage of doing it just because he is in a top 3 offense in the league. Also last year Evans had a couple games that greatly inflated his numbers during garbage time, he isnt as consistant week to week as the other guys(think a poor mans chad johnson). But really a magic 8 ball will tell you as much as anyone's best guess will, between these 3.

    Rate my team

Nah i dont like Olson, however i will look into either A smith or stevens when i know who is the starter, there are about 5 guys at the TE spot that i have on my radar in free agency. I am high on scaife this year, he has a young running QB throwing him the ball. This means lots of dump off passes to the TE and RB. ALthough it looks like chris brown is going to end up as the RB, and he isnt known as a recieving RB. They also let the #1 wr go from last year, so this further limits youngs passing options. I dont consider Troupe to be much competition either. I know they arent going to be in the redzone much, but i expect Scaife to get much of thos looks. Anyone know who is winning the battle between smith/stevens right now? or is going to be a TEBC?

    Traded Draft Picks

Depends who you draft in the 8 spot, on whether this deal was a good deal for you.
  22. MTSkiBum

    I'm picking 3rd

I have Gore 3 in non-ppr and Addai 3 in ppr, and 4 in non ppr. Addai is the safer pick, but I would think gore has slightly more upside.

    Rb help

Ok how about this argument. SA sucks when his QB goes down, we saw that last year, if FWP's QB or Westbrooks QB goes down their production isnt effected in the slightest like we saw last year. So SA's production is dependent on 2 peoples health, the other 2 guys are just dependent on their own.
  24. MTSkiBum

Palmer and Maroney for Manning and Lynch

I would rather have palmer and maroney. Maroney has alot more breakout potential. Lynch will be buried in a RBBC.

    Rb help

Westbrook, then FWP, I think SA's and Rudi's best days are behind them, i would rather pick someone with some upside.
